I have just returned from just over 20 days in Thailand. I had a great time in Thailand with the only negative being my time at this hotel. During the first night I woke up and could feel bite marks all over my body. I had lumps pop up all over where I had been bitten. It transpired I had been eaten alive by bed bugs! A few other things to note. The stairs upto the room were very dangerous. They were sharp and uneven. The bum gun and shower also kept spraying out brown water. I would never stay at this hotel ever again and definitely would not recommend it. The one positive thing was that the staff were friendly.

The good: Central but quiet, inexpensive. Friendly cats. The bad: Dirty, several types of bungalows - from fairly nice to fairly demolishable. So good luck. This place was nice one day, and my personal theory is that somebody like the senior owners died and since then the place is going down. Dirty, filthy and unkept. Looks like they need a new management, with a couple of weeks of cleaning this place could be beautiful. Until then, unswept piles of leaves rotting there for years in front of our balcony.

I stayed here for 1 night after backpacking for few weeks and wanted some peace from thee party hostels for a night. The room was basic the steps to the room did not feel safe, the pool was freezing but after a few laps it was okay. Location is nice, out the way but also walking distance to things. Overall it was average, nothing special but done the job. They also sell tickets to onward journeys slightly cheaper. I went to Koh Lanta 50bht cheaper than everywhere else and was fine.

physically ejected from the hotel for no good reason, was shouted at and pushed Made to feel threatened and told to grab my stuff and leave immediately, no reception staff available at most times, I’m always very respectful to everybody I speak to and my actions are the same, I’m 27 years old man well over 6ft and not easily threatened however I felt so uncomfortable after this incident I left the island immediately, plus on top of all that the hotel is a dive, an absolute hole, spend the extra bit of money and stay elsewhere, land of smiles this was not, they would only ever treat a foreigner with that much disrespect, call it what you want but the entire experience at this hotel was disgusting AVOID!!!!!! Don’t give them your money, they don’t want it anyway they would rather have an empty hotel If I could give any rating worse than terrible I would

Paid £7 for the room, the air-con worked and I didn't die. It did leak, but into the bathroom, which didn't bother us. It was exactly what I thought it would be, a funny experience for a night with a mate, but my girlfriend would have killed me if I'd have told her she was staying there. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. All in all we had a good laugh I won't soon forget.
