I was hoping to get more for the price I paid. Apart from the convenient location, this resort did not have much to offer. I paid for the pool access room to spend some time splashing around after the long day walk across the island, only to be told that their pool closes at 8pm. The service was pretty standard,... Found three large cockroaches in our poolside room this morning, I'm sure there are probably more that made there way in through the poorly sealed door in the night. The pool bar never opens, which is disappointing. I don't smoke but I could see how people would be livid as you have to go off of the property or face... More

Bottom line up front: While the property is charming, I would not recommend this hotel since there are so many other options, and the experience we had with the broken A/C and service after were unacceptably bad. The positives: The property is a short walk from the pier, and people are available waiting at the dock to help load your... More

Good location in Koh Phi Phi - - near lots of restaurants, the main pier, beach, shops and just a short walk to all the rowdy bars (but far enough away that you will get a good sleep!) Had a good little pool with some loungers and you can rent (free) beach towels to use for the day which was... More

Someone from the hotel staff will be waiting for you at the pier with a signboard of the resort even if you do not call and confirm your booking. And 1 person is there to help you with your luggage. The luggage is carried by him till Phi phi hotel (closest hotel to Tonsai pier) a sister hotel - belongs... More

We hadn't pre booked at Palm Tree Resort - we arrived in the evening and were given a very friendly welcome. Our room was beautiful, with steps directly into the pool. Very clean and fresh. The staff were always friendly and very helpful during our 2 night stay. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is also in a great location for... More

Really enjoyed our stay here, close to some shops and had nice pools. The room was cleaned well and had complimentary water. Had a small balcony and well priced for what was given, Room was very spacious.

We were tossing up between the Palm Tree Resort and the Banyan Villa and ended up choosing the double pool access room at the Palm Tree Resort. I have read some negative reviews on here and was a tad worried about our stay but we were pleasantly surprised. A hotel staff member met us at the pier and helped us... More

I was on crutches in a full leg cast in pain and was making my way to the pool and the staff rudely asked if i was staying here, i said no and they basically kicked me out. I asked them if there was a pool near by that i can use and they didn't help at all was just... More

Electricity problems! Lights turn on/off every day of our stay (3 nights). Breakfast was poor, Seriously go eat outside, don't add it to your reservation. Pool is nice. Staff is OK. Room was clean. Location is great. Pretty average if you ask me, but ok
