We stayed for a week (2 adults 2 childrens, 4 and 6) we loved everything and every single moment. The stuff made our stay unforgettable, took care of all needs and always with a smile. The view and the food were amazing and the pool Vila was very spacious, the room was clean a tight 2 times a day and really nothing was missing, thank you for an amazing stay, special thanks to- Andy, Wayan, Pla, Bank, Jojo, Nono and to Kaka who my son really adores and of course the driver who was so nice and help us with things. Thank you thank you thank you ❤️❤️❤️ We couldn't ask for more....

A beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff, we stayed in a villa with pool. The room is spacious and well equipped and the grounds are stunning. The location was perfect to explore the island with scooters which the hotel organised for us and a very reasonable price. There is no beach unless you stay in the private beach villas, but the pool area is lovely and we explored surrounding beaches with the scooters. The food was delicious and not overly priced. I would definitely recommend for a bit of luxury. The hotel also offers transfers to the airport in Koh Samui via the boat which is definitely worth the money as it can be quite hectic at the port. Well done all.

While planning our trip to Thailand I read hundreds of reviews, agonizing and second guessing each decision I made. Finally, I booked a beachfront pool villa at Kupu Kupu. Villa 44 was so romantic! Immaculately clean, large, well maintained, beautiful, private, exotic and luxurious. We could not have asked for more. During our stay the staff helped us book an amazing private boat tour on the Kupu Explorer and arranged to have rental scooters delivered to us at the hotel. I want to call special attention to Jes, who went out of his way at every opportunity to ensure we had a good stay. We truly appreciated his hospitality. Also appreciated were Min in the front office and Jack, our bartender who makes a great Gin Fizz and always greeted us with a great smile. The resort was fully occupied but we never felt like it was crowded. This is NOT a resort where you have to get out at 6am to put a towel on a lounge chair to reserve it. The main pool always had room and felt relaxed and private. My only mistake was not staying longer. In hindsight, I wish we had skipped Koh Samui all together in favor of a longer stay on Koh Phengan. Spring for the beach front pool villa. It is worth it. Plan to rent scooters - it is the best way to see the island and I LOVED it, despite being nervous at first. The rooftop bar has amazing sunset views and the location of the resort is close to the ferry, shopping and entertainment. Thank you for a perfect stay Kupu Kupu! We can’t wait to return someday.
