Very nice view, good location and nothing more. Old, dirty, overpriced bungalows. Horrible, disgusting bathroom. We booked 2 nights and we couldn't wait to see the end of this stay. I do not reccomend!

My fiancé and I stayed here in the off-season for 10 nights. The beach is by far the best swimming and snorkelling beach with absolute beachfront bungalows. The main administration woman was always helpful and made our stay there easy. we moved from See thanu to here. The beach is great for snorkelling and swimming, with 4 massage huts along...

The most expensive place to stay on this beach and definitely not the nicest! Lovely sewage smells greet you, flies attack you while you are trying to eat, as well as huge geckos and lizards in your rooms ( yes I know its on a beach but surely the wood slats should be enough to keep them out? ) Decided...

This resort is very well priced and although I believe under new management it hasn't yet lost its charm. Incredible snorkeling and a great beach for families with young children. Food in restaurant is good but slow, and be prepared for ending up with something you haven't ordered. Massage directly at the beach in salas. Bungalows are fairly basic but...

We loved the place with its cottages directly on the beach which allow you to see the sunset! It's not a luxury place, but clean and really good value for the money! Not really a resort, but with one of the most beautiful beaches out front of the cabin a great place to stay!

To enjoy this resort, having a front-row bungalow is paramount. Your day begins with an absolutely stunning view of the turquoise waters, golden sands and shaded coconut trees. It ends with an incredible sunset, where the glowing sun literally vanishes into the horizon! This can be viewed whilst relaxing on the beach or in a veranda hammock, sipping on a...

So, we were booked into another resort, and drove up on a day trip to visit Ko Ma - the little island point with good snorkeling. Miserable with our other accommodation, we looked around, and asked about bungalow prices and made an inspection. We got a beach front bungalow which was lovely. It had air conditioning, fly screens, clean sheets...

I arrived in low season, in the evening and there were plenty of bungalows available - so I got a pretty good deal. Other bungalows on Mae haad were 2x the price and not on the beach. I planned for 1 night but stayed 4 as the place grew on me - to be able to get up early, walk...

We wanted to do some snorkelling and we decided to head to Haad Mae. aAfter seeing many places we landed at Island View Cabana. The Bungalow seemed alright and we decided to take it. When we got in, we found out there were no windows. No plumbing system and we could not even lock the door. We went back and...

I had a horrible experience in this place. Booked 3 nights but stayed only one! At night the bungalows get infested by cockroaches, crickets and many other insects while you are sleeping (if you can sleep!). My night was A NIGHTMARE. I was hearing noises of the insects crowling into the room from the holes in the walls and the...

“The Front bungalows are by far the best, with front porches that overlook the beach and air conditioners and fan. Make sure you ask for a bungalow with a queen bed, as some just have two singles pushed together. Buy afterbite from thong sala for the mozzies if you are out at dusk and at night. They will bite you no matter what you put on but this stuff really helps. If you're staying here hire a scooter.”
