Probably the one and only reason I would go back to this hotel would be the convince of the half moon festival! It's literally 10 mins away and you get free entry and transfers with the hotel. Amazing! The location is a little sparse from anywhere unless your hiring a scooter and it's a bit of a nightmare to walk...

This place was by far one of the most beautiful resorts we have stayed at. It is somewhat of an acquired taste in a sense since it is completely isolated, there are really not many people staying there (it could have been time of year) and you literally have be beach portion and pool and lounge to yourself, so that...

We stayed 2 weeks at the bay resort! If u like a calm place but still be near to the hotspots of koh phangan, this is the place to be! The bungalows are located in fron of the beach with a amazing view! The sunset takes place right in front. Great personal and food as well (thai & european) There...

Located between Haad Rin and Baan Tai, this oasis is hided from noisy environment and appears like a quiet chillout lounge with sunset view, cute beach, affordable staff and delicious kitchen. Very nice and sociable owner ruling this place.

Me and my friend lived here for 4 nights. It was a rainy period during this time, which was a shame, but oh man, did we sleep well! We lived by the sea, and waking up to the waves is amazing. The rooms are really cool, with seemingly fresh interior and stone floor. The toilet could use some renovations though......

I wouldn't agree with other reviews that it's the best on the island... our room wasn't serviced once even though we left the room each day (stayed there three nights). Owner said we got an upgrade on the hill, but would much rather have the ground level facing the beach. Bathroom was large and uncomfortable. Far from towns.

Ive stayed in other places in Ko Phangan, also more "upscale" places. Nothing comes near this place. Great food a good prices. Staff is fantastic and very helpful. Rooms are new and clean. Good aircon. Internet is pretty fast. The beach and the pool is just WOW. Its like a small paradise. The resort is not so big, so its...

I would highly recommend staying at the bay resort and restaurant. Super nice location and the staff is super nice/friendly. The food is really nice and affordable. Rooms are clean. It could be the case that there are 1 or 2 flys but simply cause it is located in the nature. If you want to stay in ko phangan, go...

Our stay was over the Christmas period and the resort was quite quiet, for us this was no problem! We got a "taxi" from Thong Sala which dropped us at the top of the hill, with baggage this is a KILLER however, on every other occasion the hill was fine for us to walk down - we became quite used...

Had a great Thai meal with some friends in the restaurant. Cocktails during happy hour were great and there was a party at the bar. The owner kindly shared some wine with us. Lovely hotel design as well. Would definitely go back!

  • rainy but cozy!

“Both seafront rooms and hillside rooms looked great, as far as I know they all had air con and hot water. Ou hillside room had a big fridge with various lovely cold things in it and there was no objection to us putting anything else in it, like water we bought from the supermarket. I would like to say though that others have mentioned that they didn't have their rooms cleaned. We were told that if we wanted out rooms cleaned to ask, they are very used to catering for a lot of people who don't want to be disturbed so my advice is to just go to the bar, order a nice cold drink, ask them to clean your room and it will be done by the time you return, easy! Take your washing with you too, you'll get it back the next day!”
