Stayed here for the full moon party for 3 nights and we didn’t expect much and we don’t ever complain about anything however when we arrived the room we had to wait until someone “turned on the lights and air on” which was a bit strange as we could do it ourselves however we just waited.. when we finally got to the room it was very dirty and the duvet cover which was a beach towel still had paint on them.. we don’t want to think about how long it hadn’t been washed for.. in the bathroom the ceiling was caving in and there was lizards in the bathroom.. when we came to look at other reviews we saw people paid 500 BHT where as we paid 1000 a night!! After our second day we went back to the hotel and there were cockroaches in our room. I went to reception to report this even though we spent a good 20 min trying to get it out which we shouldn’t of had to do. When I was in reception there was another couple who said their room was filled with cockroaches. It’s a shame because the hotel is in such a good location and the manager is really really nice however I think if a bit of care would go into the rooms it could be a nice place to stay. The positives about this place is the staff, air con, location.

I wouldn't expect much from this hotel, it's pretty much your garden shed at home with a bathroom and a bed. I didn't feel very safe staying here specially as you could see our door had been previously kicked in but I was with my boyfriend so it wasn't that bad. I definitely will say that if you are attending the fall moon party like we did for only 3 nights it's perfect. The location is great as your next to the party but not close enough to here everything and you just have to walk round the corner and your there. The owner is really nice and whiling to help or fix anything that needs be. I would suggest staying here for people who are just attending the party and will be doing activities or have no plans of staying in the room in the day.

We stayed here for Full Moon Party. We paid 700B per night and had AC and hot water. The rooms are a bit worn and the first room we saw was a little dirty. We asked for another room and it was perfectly fine. The staff speaks poor english but are very friendly. There is free wifi but we could not get it to work in the room

I was only staying in Koh Phangan for one night so I stayed near the ferry terminal in Haad Rin. Found this place tucked away off a street. Paid 600 baht for one night. On first glance I was happy with the room. Later that night was the issue, the ceiling fan wasn't sufficient to cool the room enough. I was literally laying in a pool of my own sweat. It's a no frills type of accommodation, but I'd expect to only pay 400 a night for the room.

We landed on Koh Pangang early off the night boat with little to expect of these bungalows. The poor reviews previously didn't entice us in the slightest. However, bleary eyed and sluggish from the off, we managed to stumble into the room. We paid 600 Baht a night all together and extended one more night for just 500. Not too shabby. The room itself had a bed, a fan and a hot shower, all you need for a good time. Of course it was hot, and as time wore on the room turned into a sauna, but you get used to it. Just sleep naked, usually does the trick. The location is spot on. Full moon was a mere stones throw away, but far enough to endorse a few hours kip if the music is still blaring from the parties on Sunrise beach. I'll say these bungalows provide solid foundations for a good Full Moon Experience. The people we met in the other bungalows wee sound as a pound. Restaurants and Seven Elevens just around the corner enhance this satisfaction. Just leave the bungalow, grab a bucket, and get beaned. Sorted.
