Sunset Hill Resort is a fantastic gem of a place, located on a hillside with super views overlooking the Sea of Thailand on Koh Phangan. It's service is personal and we felt like we were treated as family. Reception is open from around 700 am to 8 pm. They are super accommodating and will look after your requests for motorcycle rental, a ride to Secret Beach or to get your Laundry done! Our room was clean and always well looked after during our stay by the hard working cleaning staff. The food in the Restaurant has wonderful Thai and Western dishes and we really enjoyed its selection of beer and wine which is reasonably priced for Thailand. Sunset Hill organized a number of Sunset Pool Concerts each month which are free for guests to attend (the music genre changes and is a wonderful experience!) The pools are a great place to spend the afternoon and unwind after a day od exploring and we Pool Bar is excellent. Sunset Hill also has a great co-working space with air-conditioning, a meeting area and other work related amenities. Check its hours of operation as they may vary if special Retreats are booked into the Resort. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Sunset Hill and we really enjoyed ourselves! Sunset hill is the most beautiful serene place I’ve been to the pool over looks the sea from the top of the hill and the views are spectacular!!!! There staff are 5 star all the way and will make you feel like your part of there family and always go above and beyond. The steam room sauna and plunge pool are also incredible the best the island has to offer! You just can’t go wrong staying here!! I love everything about this place.

All the staff were very helpful and dedicated to their work in the resort. The duty manager, Elaine, always went extra mile which made the big difference for us! We appreciated Elaine very much on all the good work she has done! On Sunset Hill Resort, we were able to watch the beautiful sunset everyday, particularly enjoyed the sunset over its infinity pool which was absolutely wonderful! Also, nice and clean environment in Sunset Hill Resort overall! Spa and Sauna facilities were enjoyable too! The food and drinks in the restaurant and poolside bar were good and fresh as well! I phoned around a lot of places to see whether they offered a Pool Day Pass and Sunset Hill was really the only one! The fee was fair and could be used against any F&B purchased from the onsite bar too. There are plenty of beds available, with and without shade, and the pool was great - it even had a jacuzzi. Recommend.

No matter what I say about this place, words can't really describe how lovely and stunning this place is and with the pool with the most beautiful pool in all of Koh Phangan and that's even before we talked about the rooms. It is important for me to mention Elaine, the manager of the place who took care of every little detail of the vacation to make it perfect, I came for two days and stayed for two weeks!! No doubt I already miss Elaine and all the staff there, will I be back? I have no doubt that only there!

I contacted the Hotel 4 days before the check in since we had some problems with the ferry. nobody answered until I called them up by phone the day before to please change the reservation. They said it was too late but we all know how reservation with booking.com work. during my stay I tried via booking.com to cancel the first night and they at the end accept a 50% off on the first night. finally they charged my credit card without me present on the check out day and I have to say that the Duty Manager was really rude when I asked for clarification. amA good duty manager would have sort the problem professionally and more efficiently.

We’ve just a yoga and meditation retreat at Sunset Hill Resort. As beginners, and new to Yoga and Meditation, it was the perfect way of learning and practicing that lifestyle. The teachers (Jace and Elena) made us feel comfortable and challenged at the same time. We were very inspired after every lesson. The resort is placed on a hill that gives you a wonderful view of the ocean and have a calm feeling. We booked the sea-view room with balcony which was worth all the money and enhanced the “zen feeling”. As a part of our program we had our own menu at the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) which was vegetarian. Overall the food was really good, healthy and delicious but we found that the lunch options were a bit disappointing compared to the breakfast and dinner. The staff was very friendly, available, helpful and polite and left us with a smile on our face every day. Even though we’ve had our last day at Sunset Hill, it’s definitely not a goodbye to yoga and meditation but the beginning of a new lifestyle which we are very excited about. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has been fun, it has been challenging and it has been eye opening. After a long year at work, I booked myself at Sunset Hill for a custom 10 day yoga retreat. It was absolute paradise - the beautiful views from the room, dining areas and the yoga shalas, the amazing yoga teachers - Jace and Elena - who became family after the 10 days, the food - staff at the kitchen who fed at me with so much love at every meal, the people I met during the trip, the fantastic massages I had - it was absolutely sublime. The amazing experience at Sunset Hill is made ultra special by the manager - Elaine - she is the life and blood of Sunset Hill and takes the experience to a very special level. She cares about each and every one of the guests, staff and makes every bit of stay so special! She was so helpful in organizing a stay in Koh Samui even before I even landed in Koh Phangan - she is a rockstar and extremely grateful that she is there. Elaine, Jace and Elena - thank you for making my stay so so special and cant wait to bring my mom back soon to enjoy the peace and serenity that Sunset Hill evokes.
