Booked the hotel because of Beach, AC, free parking (that was the filter) got a email with special instructions "only way to go there is by 4x4" so i called the hotel the told me the only option is to leave my car for 3 days on the side of a road in the middle of nowhere. and the agree to cancel for a full refund but hotels.com had to call them. later hotel.com told me no the hotel (now the General Manager) don't agree and no refund. So think 2 times if you go there YOU ARE TO 100% UP FROM THEM !! you eat what the have you pay what the ask and if the are in bad mud or change there mind you can not go out !!

Bungalows are very basic but cozy. A few meters from the beach, you can listen to the sound of the waves from bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The best was the lovely staff of the bar-restaurant. They made our experience the best we could expect being very nice and friendly. We loved the experience. Shame that the choppy sea brings a lot of plastic to this lovely beach which however was kept the cleanest possible by some visitors and staff. Highly recommended if you’re looking for relax (if you want to party or going to the full moon party, bear in mind this beach is quite isolated, book a place where you can get to with taxis at any time of the days).

Do not pay in advance to stay at Bottle Beach 1 Resort. We booked months in advance and paid by PayPal (at their insistence) for our 2 beachfront rooms, and the week before our stay they messaged us to ask for payment again, then told us the rooms were no longer available. We sent them proof of our payment but they ignored all messages and emails from then onwards, and it seems we lost our money. I wonder how many other people booked & paid for the beachfront rooms in August 2022 but didn't get to stay there or get their money back?

We LOVE this place. The beach is one of the best in Thailand, arguably the whole world. Arriving by long tail boat adds to the magic. The resort is super chilled and SO friendly. The folks who work there make this place - we shared many jokes, played cards and even guitars with them! I’d particularly like to call out the hospitality of Naing and Teddy - you guys are awesome :-) Food and tunes all great. Huts basic, comfortable and functional with A/C. Gardens are beautiful, like the whole place.

Amazing staff they couldn't do enough to make my stay amazing, such friendly people , as a solo traveller I was worried I would get bored but the atmosphere was great and I met some great people, just a great couple of days on a beautiful beach enjoying some isolation! I loved it here so much I refused to leave and just stayed another night to take it all in. If your here climb the mountain to see the view, watch the sunrise from the beach and if your lucky you will see the monkeys on the bay in the morning

Going to Bottle beach was spontanuous decision made in a bus from BKK to Koh Phangan. We wanted to find quiet place without full moon crowd. I was do worried about the dirt road to bottle beach, but my boyfriend was so brave haha that he said we’ll at least try to go by rented scooter. That Wasn’t easy and perfectly safe but possible, even with biiig backpacks. And that was a perfect thing- quiet, beautiful beach and jungle with monkeys, great sea, friendly people and so peacefull place...and we could take our scooter and visit all the rest of the island almost every day. It was just perfect. But if we were to use Just expesive 4x4 taxis or water taxis or sit there without moving I guess it would not be that great experience. We didn’t have reservations so we’ve tried 2 different resorts, and 3 different types of bungalows. All of them were great in their own way. Not very high standard but clean. Food in every restaurant was good, and this massages by the sea...awww, I want to go back! …

Place is very isolated from rest of the island, dirty road and you will need 4x4 vehicle to go anywhere else from this resort... Rooms are very old, very small(sheets were stained and dirty upon our arrival...) and without any warm water for a shower... Restorant food is decent (nothing special), when we ordered a Pizza for a dinner we waited for 1hr (60 min), next day we order Breakfast, we waited for fried eggs 30 min and when we finally got the food it was cold...Resort does not provide any beach towels and if you use one for the beach they will charge you 500TBH for that... Only good thing about this resort is the beach..

The location, the beach, is stupendously beautiful to the point where I didn't care that boat taxis to the main section of the island (for any 7eleven or reasonable food price access) was expensive (150 THB each way during normal hours -- 8am-5pm). Transport and accessbility is definitely something you want to consider when booking this on a budget or backpacking. The 5pm curfew can be restrictive. For the price (38CAD/night), I was definitely expecting more glitzy accomodation. It was rather standard I think. But it was clean and quiet. Got a room with no AC though --- and personally, I prefer that for beach accomodation. There are options for a room with AC -- to me, that just costs an arm and a leg. ~~Staff~~ Older woman at the front desk was sassy and not fun. I did not like her at all. Sometimes, I think she was just borderline rude and unhelpful. Everyone else was AWESOME. Super friendly, fun and attentive! Don't know who perpetually spit in that ONE lady's tea.... ~~Atmosphere~~ First night there they made a wood bonfire in the sand: that was AWESOME. Didn't happen again for our 4 night stay. :( This resort seemed to be very family friendly (all of them along this beach did to be honest....but ours a bit more so because there were less young and single types). The other resorts had giant swings and fire shows, whereas our didn't.... ~~Food~~ All the restaurants along the beach are more or less the same -- food options and price-wise. Think ours had the best fresh pressed juice though!…

Located on a beautiful beach, not easy to access which makes it a great place as you will not find many people around. The bungalows itself are clean and comfy. We have got one for 4- Deluxe Triple Bungalow (mistake done by Agoda) which turn out to be great even for the 5 of us, as there were two king size beds. Staff is super nice and accommodating and the food is nice. We have tried all the 4 restaurants around and changed each day. Ours is good for the Thai food. The left one (looking at the sea has the best shakes). There are all kind of spontaneous activities like hot balloons flying, nice kids movies choice once a day (7pm), birthday party arrangement on the beach upon asking ect.. very nice and delicate music and people around. Not a party type place more a family remote kindly place. Would recommend to arrive from the sea. Also possible from the mainland, but more an advantageous road (not to do alone unless you have a jeep or similar). …
