We had a lovely stay at Libong Beach Resort. Great location directly at the beach. We stayed in a bungalow second row but still with sea view. The garden is beautiful with lots of green and trees. A varan is walking around doing his thing. The owner lady was very friendly and helpful aswell as the staff in the whole area. Food was good and our waitress Pa was so sweet. There is a small bar directly at the beach. There our favorite bar man Nui prepared great cocktails and we had a wonderful time with him. The island itself is beautiful. Not touristic, many super friendly thai people, incredible paradise beaches everywhere just to yourself. Rent a motorbike and discover the island. We didnt sea any dugongs, unfortunately. But nature and people are amazing. We would stay there any time again. A big big hello to Nui from Hakan and me.

Where to start - if you want - proper - piece and quiet with beautiful sunsets and great food, then this is the place for you. I almost don’t want to review this place (the island as a whole actually) but I get a lot from Trip Advisor so feel like I ought. There are two sets of accommodation set next to each other; this one and Libong Relax resort. The restaurant at Relax was always much quieter/chilled and I found it a much more pleasant place to eat than the restaurant at this accommodation. The lighting here is stark and it always seemed more of a soup kitchen. That said, the food was good and the prices reasonable. Treat yourself to one of the beach front bungalows. Why come all this way to stay at the back with no sea view and breeze. Just slide open the glass doors and you’re as good as on the beach. The only thing separating you from the sand is a lovely grass area, dotted with palm trees. I really can’t speak highly enough about Libong Beach Resort.

Set beside a lovely white sand beach, this is a great place to while away the time. The on site restaurant is a touch pricey but makes up for it with large portions and high quality fare - make sure you’re hungry if you order a fish. The bungalows are pretty basic for the price, but clean and functional and it is worth paying for those right on the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful and will rent you a scooter for 200 baht a day. Recommended.

Stayed at Relax resort and went over to this place for dinner. The restaurant is ok. They work professional and serve the food all together if you come as a couple. The restaurant itself is a bit gloomy. Food is good, but not cheaper compare to other places nearby. But worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood

Very pretty location and clean nice rooms. The restaurant serves excellent food. My mosquito net had a lot of holes. The beach bar is very loud and plays loud music even though there will be very few guests there. On one night the music was playing until one o'clock - the bar man had fallen into a drunken sleep and guests from another hotel were helping themselves to the drinks. Not the atmosphere or peace I wanted from such a beautiful, quiet island.
