My husband and I just went there for dinner with recommendation from our motorbike taxi and we llllloved the food here. Really delicious authentic Thai food...especially Southern Thai food and seafood sauce...yummy! The family-owned restaurant was cute and the locals were lovely. We went there before sunset, so we could still see some view. There were a few mosquitoes during... More

This resort is a very good experience for who want to discover the real Thai atmospher. We come to Dada and his family every year and we love it. The family is amazing, always smiling and ready to help you. The food is delicious (try Dada's Massaman curry) and if you want fresh barbecue fish just ask them. Koh mook... More

We booked only one night, ended up staying 4 nights. The family that owns it really went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. The atmosphere around the whole place was really calm and peaceful! If you are in a hurry to get food and expect western tourist organised service, you might me wrong there. But therefor you... The service was horrible, nobody seems to recognize you when you sit in the restaurant. I waited for my shake more than an hour, then we left. The bungalow was quite okay, the matrace was like a piece of stone. I slept in the hammock. Never again, we left after the first night. By the way: Koh Mook is full... More

Extremely friendly and helpful local staff. Cozy bungalows ranging from 400 baht. Very peaceful and quiet, perfect for losing count of hours and days. The beach in front isn't nice, but everything on the island is close so doesn't matter. Closest whitesand 15 mins walk away.

The three first nights I stayed in a tent (200 Baht/night feb 2015) at the resort because all bungalows were fully booked. Some guests are staying for longer periods but eventually I got a bungalow and stayed 4 more nights. Queen size bed with fan and mosquito net. Shower and toilet in a very basic way, no tiles, only concrete... More

After spending 2 nights on a touristy snobby upper-middle class Swedish/German family oriented island, Koh Mook & The Garden resort bewitched us, budget backpacking couple. It was like arriving to home away from home. Even writing this now, 2 years later, I'm reminded by the welcomeness & the warmth of the family hosting us. We ended up staying a week...or... More

I spent 3 nights in Koh Mook Garden Resort. Here you are welcome in a local family which takes care of you, and helps you in all belongings. you have choice between rooms (500-600b) and more rustical bungalows (400b), all with toilets and shower (cold water) en suite, fan. The rooms are very clean. You can rent kayaks (200b) and... More

We stayed here for one week at the end of a touring holiday of Thailand. It is a beautiful place and the lodges are basic but adequate. The bar is well stocked and the locals very friendly. Power does go off here regularly but this doesn't detract from the comfort of the place. Food in the restaurant is superb. The... More
