Lazy days is such a fabulous place. From arranging a pick up from the airport, the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to offer info, arrange trip, scooters and are just generally really genuinely kind and friendly. The restaurant has some amazing food best breakfast had in Thailand, portion, variety and presentation. Delicious satay sauce ever had. The whole concept of lazy days is wonderful peaceful, well kept grounds right on the beach. Their dedication to conservation is admirable with plastic free straws from a company called plantastic, rooms come with trash hero bottles which can be used to refill with water at reception and a number of places on the island, linens are not changed every day only when requested- we love all of it. Our beachfront hut was amazing, well equipped, lovely decoration and furnishings. When we were not strolling on the beach, sitting on a lounger reading we loved to see the monitor lizards who we named Monty and Murray. With Scooters it is easy to pop to shops, local restaurants and beach which are all so accessible. This will always be an special place for us as we got engaged there and it was made all the more special for the amazingly friendly, helpful and kind staff, could not recommend this place more.

What can I say? I loved this little hotel; so much in fact that I popped the big question here. The staff - friendly, helpful and always smiling. From helping you book scooters to advising on local attractions and restaurants to visit, they really couldn’t have done more. The Accommodation – Beautiful. These wooden bungalows are so charming , comfortable and tastefully decorated. We booked #1 which is located with direct views of the beach. The A/C worked well as did the TV (not that you need it), and the room was impeccably clean. Other reviews have mentioned noise. We didn’t hear anything although I should mention that visiting in October we were off season. Tip – Thailand off season is a great time to go! The Restaurant – Wow. Breakfast is included and it far outstripped most of the breakfasts we have been served in larger hotels in Thailand. I recall there being 3 choices, mainly open sandwich based but ohh so tasty and healthy, I didn’t miss the typical breakfast fri-up once during my stay. The restaurant is so good in fact that it gets many visitors from the surrounding area coming to dine here for lunch and dinner. – Quality, artistic food at a great price. - my photo doesn't do justice.

It was a pleasure to stay there...friendly, calm and with a perfect view. Only 9 Bungalows and so not the Traffic of a Resort.so friendly!!!! And every bungalow have an amazing view. The relax beach is one of my favourite on the island.no big hotels and small nice bars.of you are looking for party..you are wrong here(maybe on the island). The only thing...the bed is really soft;-)maybe somebody like it. You can rent a motorbike and visit this beautiful island( Ao Nui beach, national park, khlong challenge beach, mangroves) The food in the restaurant is really good and the breakfast as well. Thank you Sunny and her staff.was beautiful to stay there and I will come back!

Thank you so much for your review, we really appreciate it! Good advise about trips! Yes our beds might be soft for some people, they are from IKEA and not at all like thai beds. We hope to see you again! Warm regards Lazy Days Team

The resort consists of 9 bamboo cabins set under trees just back from a lovely beach at the quietest end (although it was all peaceful while we were there). The cabins are well equipped with good bathrooms, air conditioning and very comfortable beds. There is plenty of shade. The staff are fantastic; so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Outstanding by anyone’s standards! Breakfasts are very tasty with lots of choice and the Thai food at the restaurant is excellent ( they also serve western food which looks good). They provide everyone with “trash heroes” which are metal thermos flasks for water and a free supply of chilled clean water - so no need for plastic bottles. Some reviews have mentioned beach parties; we heard none in the week we stayed. Be aware though that the cabins are bamboo and so sound carries. You are reliant on “good neighbours” which everyone seemed to respect. Nearby are a selection of great bars and restaurants. A wonderful spot!

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are glad to say that the reason you did not hear any noise for the bars is because that loud bar now has relocated so all peace and quiet this year! So glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and also the food and our environmental choices. Warm regards Lazy Days Team

I was sad to leave Lazy Days this morning after 9 nights. If you want a very comfortable, big, clean bungalow with a wonderful bed to sleep in, a bungalow on the sea front with a large balcony, an excellent breakfast every day, friendly staff ready to offer good advice about the island, a lovely sandy beach and excellent sea to swim in, peace and quiet, a choice of other restaurants nearby and the need to have a wonderful holiday, you should choose Lazy Days Bungalows.
