Excellent resort. Beautiful secluded beach. Everything was top 👍.
It is on the south side of ko lanta so it takes 30 minutes to arrive from the pier.. so you are secluded if you are looking for quiet. The service was amazing and the beach and pool were clean and beautiful.
I highly recommend these resort
Also I don’t understand booking ratings: these resort gets only 3 stars in booking
I’m staying now in emerald resort in khao lak and booking gives it 4 stars?? Not even close comparing
Thanks anda lanta for a wonderful peaceful vacation 🫶

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2020, we caught the ferry from Ao Nang to Saladan , I contacted the hotel beforehand to arrange a transfer from the pier, I was happy to see that the transfer was free of charge when we paid our bill. The hotel has a pretty traditional Thai style semi open air lobby which we like, close to this was the restaurant and bar which looked on to the beach of Klong Jark bay and the swimming pool was close by. Our room was a good size, we had booked a superior room, it was on the 1st floor and offered a sea view through the trees, it had a decent sized balcony, huge double bed and a reasonable sized shower room. The room was traditionally furnished with dark wood and the air-con was excellent. The breakfast was ok offering some choice, the restaurant Thai food we found enjoyable and fairly decent value for a hotel. The swimming pool is very pretty surrounded by trees as is the whole resort, the sun loungers were higher than normal which would be good for some guests who might struggle getting up from a lower bed, there were also quite a number of beds on the edge of the beach situated under shades which was good. Our only complaint about the pool was, it was very noisy due to the number of families with small children. We had never really experienced this before in all our six previous trips to Thailand, most of the families seemed to be Scandinavian.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed Anda Lanta as a home base for our stay in Koh Lanta. The resort is toward the south of the island, and felt less busy and more secluded than the northern areas of the island. Took a little longer to get to from airport, and on certain boat tours where we left from the northern part, but worth it to be on a quiet beach. The beach, as well as those adjacent to the north and south, were beautiful and secluded. Comfy lounge chairs beachside and beach towels provided. We were able to rent motorbikes for 250 baht for 12 hours and took advantage of that to get to the national park and other beaches and shops. Free snorkel, kayak use that we did not take advantage of. The breakfast was good, with usual western options each day and different Thai options. Be sure to bring your water bottle to breakfast to refill! They give you 2 bottles each day in the room, but after breakfast there is no other way to refill your water so you must buy plastic bottles from the bar. Dinner was good too, and with reasonable prices comparable to other beachfront restaurants. We had 2 of our dinners there. The service here was also great. Our airport shuttle did not show up for us on our check out day, and when I asked to use their phone to contact the company, the staff member at the front desk went ahead and called for me and communicated back and forth with the company, which I feel was more effective than me doing so with a slight language barrier. She arranged for the hotel to drive us quickly up the island to meet the shuttle van. She went above and beyond to help us make our flight, which was greatly appreciated!! Overall, a great stay at Anda Lanta.

My family of course stayed at Andalanta from 23rd December to 3rd January 2019. Considering this is peak season we were blissfully unaware of that, what you get here is space, privacy and a really relaxing atmosphere, even when at full capacity. It attracts guests of all nationalities, (there were many Scandinavians while we were there) and all guests seemed to want the same peaceful experience as us. All the children were well behaved and unobtrusive, ours included thank goodness! We had a family room on the 3rd row from beachfront, I would ask for 2nd row next time for more enjoyment of the balcony (first row rooms are for 2 people). The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, perfect for 4. The food is great and there are a couple of other places along the same beach where the food was great too and a cute bar / shack at the end of the beach for the perfect sun downer. The beach is west facing so fabulous sunsets and the resort had kayaks for guests to explore in. Hire a scooter from reception for 50 THB an hour (£1.20) and walk through tropical plants to a cute waterfall (45 minute walk).
The standards are high, a great place to not do anything!

We had an amazing time. Super clean resort with polite stuff and high quality food. We were a couple but there were a lot of families with children (wether good or bad).
Breakfast was to die for. They provided everything.
Hotel send someone to pick us up from the Pier when we arrived and also offers scooter renting services for reasonable prices.
The only con was the prices. Cocktails are super expensive reaching 250 TBH.

We spend 3 nights here and we cannot complain of anything. Hotel area and room were clean and staff is very friendly. Food was good, hotel pricing which was little bit higher than in the beach restaurants. Pool area was nice and there were sunbeds and towels to use either in the pool or beach. Whole hotel area is easy to walk, only few steps in the room or beach. You can rent a motorbike or a canoe from reception also you can book a transfer to your next location.

Want a quiet hotel on a semi-private beach paradise? You should check out the Anda Lanta Resort on Khlong Chak Beach, Koh Lanta.
We arrived at the dock on the north end of Koh Lanta, and the hotel had a driver waiting for us for the 20 Km journey to the south end of the island. And then everything slowed down to a crawl for the next four days, just like we wanted.
The hotel is located on a beach that is about 200 meters in length, and for all intents and purposes, it is the only accommodation accessing that beach. The best swimming on the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but a short walk south near the other end. And if you get thirsty on that walk, there are a couple of beach bars along the way!
But back to the hotel. The room we were given was huge. It was back a bit from the beach but near enough to everything like the pool and the restaurant. Very comfy bed. We discovered on our last night that there were monkeys in the trees and sheds behind our room so that was cool.
The breakfast provided by the hotel was outstanding. Lots of choices. We did eat dinner there once and it was very good. You have to try their deep fried papaya salad.
We found the loungers at the beach were at an odd angle that made sitting in them a tad uncomfortable, but the ones at the pool were just fine. So for four days, we alternated between vegging out in the shade, swimming in the pool and swimming in the ocean. Not a bad gig.
If you are after a lively scene for you stay on Lanta, this is not the place for you. But for us, the calm and relaxation that it offered was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel is on a lovely beach with nice little beach bars & restaurants to have lunch / dinner in. Pool area was lovely as well and you could easily pop from beach to pool depending on your mood. Only criticism would be the lack of atmosphere in the restaurant. Breakfast was great & with lovely views, but we never considered staying there for lunch/dinner: music was terrible elevator type music (?!) and it felt more like a canteen. Also more expensive than beach bars with real character.

Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that we offer private outsourced transfers from our resort to Krabi International Airport at THB 3,000 per van each way. Each van can accommodate up to 6 persons. The approximate travel time is 3 hours, though this may vary depending on traffic at the ferry port. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, so please confirm via email before your trip.
You can take a scooter or taxi to some restaurants, there is a 7-11 a few minutes drive. But not much. It is peaceful, beautiful beach, good restaurant on site. But not if you are looking for nightlife!
Dear Ms. Strava77,
Greetings from Anda Lanta Resort.
Thank you very much for your message. Please be informed that we have hotel taxi available for our guests. The price ranges from THB 100 - THB 700 per car per way. This price is according to the distance traveled between Anda Lanta Resort and the destination where Ba Kantieng district is the nearest and Saladarn Pier is further out.
Our hotel taxi operates until 22:00 hours only. Beyond this time, you would need to find the taxi from other outsource to return to our resort.
Hope this answers your question, but if not, please do not hesitate to get in touch again.
Sincerely,
Sasha P.
No dive shop onsite - but the front desk are very helpful and will arrange for you. We saw plenty being picked up and dropped off from diving boats at the beach.
