Large bathroom with large shower cubicle, wc in cubicle and large bathtub.
Bedroom with single beds put together to make a double bed. From here there is access to a terrace with 2 chairs and a coffee table.
Here there are direct stairs down into the pool.
Some have written that the hotel is worn out. We did not experience that. (We traveled with TUI).
Breakfast is the classic hotel buffet (Scandinavian buffet and 4 Thai dishes).
There is something for everyone.
It is not possible to choose All inclusive, as the prices in restaurants (and there are many of them around the hotel). The hotel's prices for food and drink are almost double what the same dishes cost at the restaurants on the beach and in town. The hotel takes 10% tax + 7% tourist tax. We did not experience this elsewhere.
Every evening there is live music for dinner at the hotel. Save yourself this experience! It doesn't sound nice.
An agreement has been made with a local Tuk tuk family. Fixed price 50 baht per Adults and children free. Which is cheaper than having to negotiate with other tuk tuks.
All in all a good family friendly hotel - well run with friendly staff.
I will definitely come again.

Rooms are huge with comfy beds and a huge bath tub. However they’re very dated and in dire need to some upgrades. The shower is awful, it’s smells a bit damp and the overall appearance of the hotel is run down and shabby. The breakfast is mediocre at best. Our curtain rail broke purely by opening the curtains.
Room key and safe key is the old fashion physical key which only a minor inconvenience but if you lose the safe key they charge you £75 so constantly carrying it round and being conscious of this was just a bit irritating.
Staff a bit unprofessional, ie stand around smoking and playing on their phones constantly in very public view, again not a huge problem but doesn’t give a great impression.
Overall I would stay again but it really does need Some TLC

The hotel is in a splendid location surrounded by a large tropical garden, with several swimming pools and many sun loungers right on the beautiful sandy beach. The hotel is also very suitable for families with children
The rooms, suites, are huge, generously sized, beautifully designed and furnished with traditional carved wooden furniture. The beds are large, the mattresses comfortable, everything is clean and there are ample clean towels. The air conditioning is very efficient and quiet.
The golden suite has direct access from the terrace to a beautiful, deep and long pool that winds through the garden past several hotel buildings.
An excellent buffet breakfast with a wide selection of Western and Asian dishes is served until 10.30am.
We felt very comfortable at Cha-Da Resort. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and always helpful. Most employees also spoke good English, which is a big plus when communicating with international guests.
The entire plant is looked after by many employees who constantly clean, so the whole plant is very clean.
Even though the weather was mostly cloudy during our 14-day stay and there were always showers, we enjoyed our stay very much and can only recommend it to all lovers of nature and beautiful swimming in the sea.
We will always love to come back 🙏😊
It is on the beach
It does have two large pools.
My experience of this hotel is jaded due to the angry manager.
Long story I stayed in a chada hotel in krabi it was really poor not good at all.
I booked Ko lanta without realising it was the same hotel operator that owned both!
I tried really hard to cancel but the hotel refused.
I paid nearly £900.00 uk for the room
So a little step to loose and walk away from.
I booked a gold room with quiet pool access.
As soon as I got their I realised it was a mistake for me.
I wanted quiet and to relax it was really noisy the quiet area of the pool was full of kids shouting screaming and playing having great fun like kids should.
However not quiet like I wanted
I asked the hotel again to check out they refused to refund.
I stayed a couple of days it was miserable to be fair.
The luxury room is no more than a family room with pull down beds as sofas. And really bad wifi!
Again I tried to ask to leave on this occasion I got a director called Felix
This man has a hot head I have a 6 min video of him shouting at me at one point he punches the counter!
I told him he was rude his reply floored me
I quote I am not rude I am not an Asian I am like you a European!! You can work that out for your self!
I’m not easily intimidated so it was wasted on me!
This is a fair review if you want quiet 5 star luxury do not even think of booking this hotel it is not for you.
If your a family with kids then go for it as it is on the beach plenty to do for kids.
The hotel also sell rooms to TUI their are TUI reps on site. To look after their guests they turn up at breakfast and dinner.
This means it is cheap food. The food offering is the same for all I am afraid.
Dinner is a 300 bhatt per person buffet it is cold for all their is no dinner menu if you don’t want the buffet.
The buffet is not that great very limited food and Luke warm at best it is served outside from metal dishes that struggle to keep the food hot.
Lunch the menu looks amazing we tried to order pretty much everything on it was out of service! We had a sandwich!
Breakfast is the worst everything is cold they have metal trays to keep it hot I noticed their is no burners under the dishes so it is just cold the eggs the bacon everything stone cold.
Coffee comes from a giant urn it is like warm and instant.
The manager really is wild! I do not intimidate easily and tbf I gave him a run for his money as soon as he stated shouting and punching the counter - but he is out of control I’m sure he is nice as long as you don’t have an issue.
It was not a good experience at all I have since read oyer reviews and a lot seem to match my experience.

The hotel grounds and our gold access swim up room are beautiful. The pools are great, and we have enjoyed staying here overall, however....
There was no welcome at all when we arrived, no smiles or warmth at all. The staff here are not friendly or helpful, which is unusual for Thailand.
The food is terrible. The bacon at breakfast tastes like it has been refried. I'm dirty oil. We had a club sandwich, which was overpriced and had gone off mayonnaise in it. The chips taste and look like they have been refried in dirty oil.
They have the same singer/keyboard player every night for dinner and they are so out of tune/off key it's embarrassing and painful to listen to so we have been leaving the hotel at every opportunity.
There is an overpriced sad looking buffet each night that looks disgusting, and you can easily get much nicer food for half the price nearby.
If you're sold on the swim up rooms, then book here as they are great. Otherwise, don't bother!
Shops etc everything within walking distance.
A hotel where you feel completely well looked after! Very nice, attentive staff.
We had booked with breakfast. There was a good selection, abundant and always fresh.
It always tasted good to us. Service very attentive.
Felix the hotel manager and Ms Anong always approachable and helpful with everything.
We stayed at the hotel for Christmas. The 24.12 was a great evening. With lots of program, live music and very good food!
I would say excellent for families and even when you are not there as a family you do not get disturbed, the rooms are really well isolated.
Two small downsides during the visit was that
- one of the waters running through the hotel area was covered and had a smell of soar when coming close.
- they add 10% service fee and 7% tax on top of that on everything you order in the bar or restaurant (so the 1000 bath dinner all of sudden cost you 1180 bath, small amounts but annoying when not really clearly announced)
Go out and eat&drink instead.

The hotel was run down, old and nothing like the pictures
If you wanted to use the gym, don’t bother! It’s broken, rusted and rank. I asked the manager about it and she told me all the images online are 10 years old so I shouldn’t rely on it and told me it wasn’t a gym for exercise and I should go else where
I would avoid this! I never ever complain but it’s not worth the money. Go next door to twin lotus. Looks much better
"So not book unless you get a swim up room. Don't stay in the emerald suites near the canal as it stinks and is infested with mozzies. Do not eat at the hotel!!"Read full review
