I have the fondest memories of Pimalai resort. The massive resort offers shuttles throughout to get around, on site scuba school was awesome (pool lesson before a dive), massage centre was great, breakfast was extensive and delicious, and most importantly the service and actual accommodation...More

We were at Pimalai in Oct this year and the price on average for 2 in the restaurants are approx £50 we did eat in the outside restaurants too and found for food and drink it worked out about half the price and although it was nice to try the outside places to eat once you have eaten in the Pimalai you won't eat anywhere else as the food, the setting, and service is outstanding and I found paying twice the price was well worth it, the resort is so good we are going back in March.

The Thai summer starts around the end of November and temperatures will soar around mid December. I wouldn’t worry too much about the rain, especially if you’re getting this from the weather app on iPhone. If you’re unfortunate, you might get one shower a day. We were there end of September which is their monsoon season and I think we saw maybe 3 or 4 heavy showers; rest of the time was brilliant sunshine. 😊
