Pimalaia is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed. Beyond the great instalation, the staff attention is what let us amazed! They are Very organized and were always anticipating our needs! The room is fantastic and the swimming pools are incredible. We could meet the GM (Patrice) around and he made sure that we were having the best time ever.. we definitely recommend Pimalai!
This was our first time to Koh Lanta, and an unexpected trip, so a spontaneous road trip from our home on Koh Samui. A friend of a friend recommended this resort and they were absolutely right! The team are all switched on, which for me is everything. Khun Apple who Assists the GM Patrice was so helpful in making our last minute bookings - from the car on the way there! She was a doll, met us on arrival and made sure we were well looked after. Poon at the Front Desk, did just that and got us settled into our beautiful sea facing newly renovated room which was to die for! The quality in every detail comes through at this resort and believe me I notice quality as a hotel manager myself. The gardeners not only due an impeccable jon in their work, but if they see a guest at 20 meters approaching they stop what they are doing and greet you! - This takes a training plan, motivation and encouragement! The F&B team rock! They are professional and remember all of your likes, your preferences and yes your name! Contrats to Khun Ae, Mai, Ying, ETT and Kob, plus all of those we don't see in the kitchen and doing the dishes. The team worked together at each of the 8+meals there! (BTW Patrice, Mai should be in sales:) Loved Khun Bird at the lower pool near our room. Even though the pool was not fully staffed it sure felt like it with Bird on duty. He told us the weather, the sea situation and was just a genuine good soul. He brought water and looked after us like we were VIPs. The GM Patrice walks the restaurant each morning greeting the guests AND his staff, and picks up on anything out of place. He leads by example setting the bar high and this is why his team are so switched on. For full transparency, I have never met Patrice before, and did not even know of this hotel before on my way to Koh Lanta and then starting looking. But now, I have already recommended it to many friends and hopefully after this review to you too. James McManaman…
Very pleasant experience during this Covid period. Quality and amenities were not saved allowing all guests to fully enjoy the experience of Koh Lanta and deluxe accommodations. Truly appreciate the warm welcome from staff and GM Patrice… looking forward to a return visit shortly.
We stayed with our family for 3 nights at Pimalai Resort & Spa and we had a beautiful time. The resort is located right on the beach of a stunning bay with beautiful sunsets. We loved to stay on the beach cabana looking at the sea under the shades and the coconut trees. Also lots of nature around us to enjoy. There are 2 swimming pools to choose depending on your mood, one in “altitude” with view on the bay and one closer to the beach. The staff is great and very helpful during our stay. The food is great and especially the breakfast (salmon egg benedict) with a view on the bay. It was a very relaxing and enjoying time for all of us.
A fantastic resort with amazing staff and views. We will come back again soon. During this Covid situation they made me and my family feel welcomed throughout our stay. We stayed at the hill side pool villa , the view of the bay was stunning and the room is super clean. There is only one restaurant opened in this special period. The Thai food is so delicious with all the fresh ingredient to bring out the flavours. The food is not just spicy as anywhere else in Thailand, all the flavours was well balanced. In addition, the view is breathtaking in every angle. The staffs in the 7th seas restaurant are friendly and well trained. A must visit restaurant in Koh Lanta. This is really a place can be called paradise on earth.
