Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids) spent 5 nights and enjoyed every minute! The highlight was the view of Katiang bay below and we could not get enough! The villas are situated above the beach and small village. It's a short walk, but the last stretch on the way back is up a steep hill which can be challenging in the heat, but our kids managed just fine...it's really not that far. The climb up the hill is well worth it for the view, and we spent so much time on our patio taking in the scenery below, especially during sunset.
The villas themselves are very spacious and the patios are HUGE, doubling the amount of living space. The kitchen was well equipped, and we would have used it more if we had managed to get to a larger supermarket. The village below only offers a small 7-eleven which has a very limited selection. My one suggestion for improvement would be to offer guests a ride to a larger supermarket upon arrival. The pool was just stunning and we had it to ourselves most days. The property itself is well maintained and the staff are constantly busy, caring for the gardens and cleaning the pool. All the staff were so helpful, offering restaurant suggestions, arranging to do our laundry and recommending a place for the BEST Thai massage. We tried many of the restaurants in the area....our favourites were Drunken Sailors (breakfast and burgers) and Kantiang Restaurant (authentic and cheap Thai). Don't miss the hidden beach at the foot of Relax Lanta Bar! It's well worth the trek!

Dear Julia D Thank you so much for staying at our resort. It is good to know that you enjoyed your time here. Great thanks for your nice words about our place. I agree, the way up from the village is steep, but indeed worth it. If walking is a bit too challenging, it is always a possibility to catch a taxi and we have scooters for rent for those who like. Twice a day our staff bring our guests to and from the beach/village by car. In the village, we only have a 7-eleven and a small local “supermarket”, but every day there is a real food market on different places on the island. You need a scooter or a car to go there, but it is great fun and the meat, chicken and fish are super fresh and they have loads of vegetables and fruits as well. Ask our staff and you can go there next time. When they have time, they will drive you. We wish you and your family welcome back another time and hope to see you again soon. While visiting Koh Lanta we opted to go to the more quiet side of the island and ended up with Baan KanTiang Villa Resort. (Green villa) This was on one word breathtaking. A stunning view over the bay area / local beaches, the 2 bedroom villa (with ensuite bathrooms) was luxurious, spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff (Thouy and Kitty) were great - providing local tips and really making us feel at home. The villas have their own kitchen, so you can do cooking, or order in from nearby restaurants. This stay was unanimously voted by the family as the best of our 3-week Thailand trip.

We stayed in the green villa for four days and wished we could have stayed longer. Thoy and Kitty were nothing short of amazing. They helped us to book a ferry and hire moped’s amongst other things. The villa was great with beautiful views over the bay. The little touches of breakfast and coffee don’t go unnoticed and we really appreciated them. The pool was empty most days as there are only 8 villas in the complex. Hire mopeds and travel about, just be careful as the site is up a steep undulating hill. Would recommend highly.

Finally, I was back to this idyllic place on Koh-Lanta, Thailand. Baan Kantiang see has grown and is now in full bloom, literally. The place is full of flowers of all colors, trees and palm trees, and the gardener does a good job of maintaining the "garden of Eden". I always almost lose my breath the first day I get up on the terrace of the house and look out over the stunning views while the warm breeze from the sea comes towards me. The holiday has started. Baan Kantiang see is a well run place, every detail seems to be taken care of by a professional team who seems to do everything they can to make you have a perfect holiday. I recommend everyone to hire a scooter, the hotel staff will arrange this for you. The scooter can take you out to all the fantastic beaches that comes one by one, while cruising in the pleasant warm wind. You will soon find your own favorite restaurant on the beach, where you can enjoy your days in the sun, or with a book in the shade, or just sit watching the red-pink sunset, with something cold to drink. I travel a lot. My job takes me around the world and I know what the trouble is when I meet it. This place is on the top shelf and I will definitely be back.

We spent 5 nights here in April 2024 and within an hour of arriving my wife and I both agreed that we wished we'd made it a longer stay. We stayed in the Red villa and it was honestly the best place we stayed in Thailand, and we also stayed at a four-star "proper" resort in Khao Lak. We couldn't believe the size of the place, and the space to properly settle in. Lots of places to store things, and many options for different places to lounge around. We were travelling with two young boys and it was great to put them in an isolated bedroom so that my wife and I still had use of the lounge and kitchen and terrace after we put them to bed each night. The villas have been put together very thoughtfully, with everything you could think of taken care of. The staff are very friendly but you are mostly left to get on with it on your own. There is a daily cleaning service and linens are changed every few days. Pool towels provided. Great restaurants and beach bars nearby: Pad Thai Rock n Roll, Chill Grill House, Same Same but Different and of course the inescapable Why Not Bar with its daily fire shows. Kantiang Bay itself is stunning and we were amazed how few people were on the beautiful beach.
Only cons: - Only the bedrooms have AC, the living areas are not AC but have fans, and you can open the windows - The hill is quite a challenge but you get used to it. Not one for nervous drivers!

We had a wonderful stay at Baan Kantiang. Everything about the place was perfect and such a beautiful view of the sea and hills, which we enjoyed each morning while having breakfast every morning in the patio. Khun Thoy and Khun Kitty were very helpful making sure we were comfortable and seeing to our needs, renting a car, booking tours and recommending places to see and to eat.
Will definitely return.

This was our second visit to Baan Kaan Tian Si. We came 6 years ago and mercifully nothing much has changed. These stunning villas are situated up a hill in a quiet corner of Koh Santa near Kantiang beach. The interiors are beautiful, authentically decorated with exquisite Thai furnishings. With spacious interior and wrap around decking there is enough room for all the family. There are two bedrooms, one attached to the main villa and the other with an entrance from the deck. This allows for complete privacy. The bedrooms have high ceilings, fans, air con and beautiful mosquito netting hanging over the bed. The bed and linen are luxurious and very comfortable. The outlook is stunning, you can see the forest, beach and ocean during the day and at night the stars, village lights and fishing boats. You are warmly greeted by Thoy on arrival and given cleansing towels and refreshing fruit drink. A welcome bowl of delicious fruit and freshly ground coffee awaits inside your villa. It is so comfortable inside your villa that you may not even want to leave. Thoy will arrange dinner to be brought directly to you. We did this twice and enjoyed watching the sunset as we ate. There is a salt water infinity pool at the villas and swimming in there is pure joy. The entire resort is peaceful and the gardens beautifully landscaped, you rarely bump into anyone else, which makes for a relaxing time. Thoy is the maitre d'hotel and probably one of the best in the world. She singlehandedly organises everything to ensure your holiday goes without a hitch. From taxis, to restaurants, takeaways or speedboats she will make it happen. Her local knowledge is fabulous as is her English and she is incredibly funny and warm. We are grateful to her for ensuring our holiday was peaceful, fun and memorable.

Great villa, lots of room & spotless. We rented motorbikes, which is recommended as otherwise it can be quite a climb up from the village / beach. Great position to explore the south of Koh Lanta, which in our opinion is the best part of the island.

I had an amazing stay at Baan KanTiang See Villas. The resort is beautiful, with the most wonderful view over the beach and sea. The sunsets from our balcony was to die for. The resort felt clean, and the service was impeccable. The reception was just one Whatsapp message away, and they fixed taxi, takeaway, laundry and other services. It really made us feel taken care of, and it made exploring the area much easier. The rest of the staff were also very helpful, for example the gardner came and helped us with the parasol when he saw that we were struggeling. The villas were spacious, and had necessary equipment. It was extremely clean, and the staff did some light cleaning everyday. From the bedrooms we also had a beautiful view, and every morning it felt like we woke up in paradise.
I cannot recommend this resort enough. It truly was amazing. I would love to go back!
The nearby services were also good, there were fantastic restaurants, the beach was close by, some bars, tourist informations, 7/11 etc. The food in the area was amazing, we really had some great meals.

The Villas are beautifully set up with attention to detail. Very comfortable and spacious, very clean, nothing is missing. I work in the luxury hotel business myself and was pleasantly surprised of all the details in the room up to the personalized welcome card. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with anything. From organizing food, to transfers or tours. There is no restaurant, but they feature an In Villa Dining Menu with many different food options from nearby restaurants, which they all coordinate. Be aware if you travel with small Children, the two bedrooms or not directly connected, you have to exit to the terrace first before being able to go back in. Unless you split as parents with one kid each for each bedroom, you can ask them to set them up an extra bed. Great views, close to dining options and convenience stores. Great stay! Yes, we can organize tours (Elephant trekking & Kayaking, 4 Island one day tour, cooking class, diving and snorkeling) driving price depends on what kind of course or trip you buy. All tours, car hire, motorbike rent etc., can be ordered at our reception.

There are no sunbeds for rent on the beach. At our resort, we have sunchairs by the pool. The villas are fully furnished and have sunbeds on the terraces.
Dear pancha 510. We only have 2 bedrooms in the villa. With 5 adults, you will have to stay 3 adults in one of the bedrooms. We can accept that for an extra cost of 500 baht per night per extra bed. You can make the booking for 4 adults and send us a message that you would like to book for 5 adult and pay for the extra bed.
