This was the best stay of our trip. Not because it is plush or luxurious- it is not, in fact it is just a basic log cabin. We loved it here because everything was perfect. The room had a large fridge and air con that worked well. Room service was the best that I have ever seen anywhere . Staff... More

Great location. On beach. Lovely Lady Annie is the host. They Bring Breakfast in Rooms. Only complaint was Wifi didn't quite reach my room and Ive been trying to work on my laptop. Ask for a room close to the Wifi Receiver.

Seriously, I am no backpacker, but the reviews were so overwhelmingly good that I was happy to book a place where there was no formal booking procedure and an email to a hotmal address was as good as you got. Really pleased I did - we arrived in the middle of a powercut - apparently not an unusual thing on... More

There is a wealth of places to stay on Koh Lanta, and I'm sure many of them are very nice, but the thing that sets Banana Garden Home apart is the personal level of service that Annie and her staff offer. We stayed 4 nights and could happily have stayed many more. Koh Lanta is a lot more laid back... More

We visited Koh Lanta mid May. And chose Banana Garden Home based on the previous excellent reviews. And it did not dissapoint us at all! Some highlights: - We arrived and needed change for a taxi. Paz (the bar owner) spotted us 200 and said "You can pay me back later, no problem". - Annie and everybody on the whole... More

Wonderful place - treated like one of the family. Nice, clean bungalows, just a stones throw from the beach. Very helpful staff who did everything - and more - to make our stay a memorable one. Cannot praise the staff enough! We will be back, and we will highly recommend the place as an excellent place to stay on Lanta.... More

Just like all the other reviewers, my fiance and I loved Banana Garden! Annie was an excellent hostess: when she spotted some mosquito bites on my legs, she gave me balm to soothe them, for free. When we had a problem with our ride back to Krabi, she was really concerned for us and rang the "travel agent" for us.... More

We found this cute spot after overpaying for another lousy guesthouse at the other end of the beach, just walked in to see if there was anything available and luckily there was room for us first thing the next morning. Initially we were put in the bungalow closest to the water pump which was malfunctioning and noisy due to a... More

Banana Garden was the best guesthouse/hotel we stayed in during our 3.5 week trip to Thailand. Annie is so helpful - she will organize all your transportation and help with activities, etc. She doesn't charge anything and does this for the best price for her guests, she really looks out for everyone that stays here. It's right on a gorgeous... More
