Stayed here 4 or 5 times now when visiting Ayutthaya. The rooms are fairly priced compared to the rest of 'Soi Farang', very clean, and the owner Mr Chai is a great guy. Be sure to rent a bike and visit the city. Very close to numerous restaurants and bars Would definitely recommend

My friend and I stayed two nights in a double room with ensuite bathroom. The room was basic, but nice and clean. It was only 350 baht, so for that money, it was very good. It's not a five star hotel but if want a nice clean place with great owners and atmosphere, this is the place to be. The... More

We didn't make a reservation here - we walked in and were given a good rate of 450/night for an air con room. On arriving in the room we realised that it hadn't been cleaned properly in a while, there was visible dirt in the bathroom and a never ending ant problem. The owner gave us spray to deal with... I had a great two nights here. The A/C room with double beds was the cheapest I found after shopping around. On top of that, the room is amazing; clean, nice decoration and amenities, full bathroom. I think these rooms could easily go for several hundred more baht than is asked. The owner, Chai (spelling?) was incredibly helpful from the... More

The hosting family of this guesthouse is incredibly attentive; rooms are spacious & clean; and for the cost of 200-300baht/night, more than affordable. They provided me with use of their computer when mine stopped working; they offer bike rental; and although I didn't eat there, the food in their restaurant looks great. Stay here over any other place on that... More

I did not book this guesthouse in advance. When I arrived at Ayutthaya and was appreciating the sunrise view of Wat Mahathat at the open field outside the historical site, I met a local retired teacher who was having his morning exercise at the park. He spoke fluent English and subsequently guided me to the local market (Chao Phrom Market)... More

It doesn't get any cheaper than this around Ayutthaya. Plus the place is clean, welcoming. The owner is kind and helpful. You can rent a bike from him or his neighbors, be provided with a map and advices on which temples to visit (there are over 50 wat in the city). There is a nice restaurant-bar 20 metres away and... Cheapest hostel around but the convenience to get around Ayutthaya is great. Can rent a bike, book tours etc within walking distance. The location is great because Ayutthaya is a small town so has everything locally; it has the comfort of co-travellers all on the same street (road is full of guesthouses) but not too far from local food markets,...
