Tamarind Guesthouse is at the lowest level I ever booked during my life! Ok, rooms are clean, a little small, walls are made of raw cut wooden bars painted, The reception is almost night dark in a hidden little walk way. People are very friendly, but they directly assumed us not to stay there. Then we had to look for... More

Very comfortable staying for me as a solo backpacker! Good price, friendly staff/owner, well English-speaking lady-boss, very good toilet and shower. Location is right in front of the Historical Park of Ayutthaya. I think that you should hire bicycle if you have time and wanna be on your own for park roundtrip. They have a map (hand-writing and drawing) of... More

Conveniently located across the road from Wat Maha That, in the Ayuttaya Historical Park, and one block away from the night market, this budget guest house is extremely popular with travelers. The walk-in rate is 590 Thai Baht, less than $17 USD per day, but while I was there they were completely full and turned away folks without reservations. As... More

Clean room, nice staff. You get 2 0,5l bottles of water every day for free, as well banana for breakfast, but the old city coffee is nearby anyways. As it is a wooden house, it can be loud if others make noise. Prepaid at Agoda 18€/night beginning of November.

The guest house is a beautiful old wooden building. At the lobby, you will see many antique items. The old Coca-Cola advertisement encouraging mothers to start their kids on coke early because it will increase the chances of them being well adjusted in their teens was particularly funny. I occupied the room on the first floor. It was large and... More

Step outside and across the street are several Wat's and ruins from the Ayutthaya Kingdom days. I enjoyed my stay as the owners are kind. Night market 1 block away. 7/11 not far. My room was big and clean and I had great wifi. Breakfast was coffee and bananas and yummy cookie pieces stuffed with tamarind. They also own Good... More

I really liked this guesthouse. The owners are great and we able to get me a scooter at a good rate without having to leave a deposit or hand my passport over to anyone. The floors are squeaky and the walls thin, but it is a guest house, not a hotel! Plenty of nice and quiet families and couples. And... More

Owners Neang (husband) and Koy (wife) take great care of their guests and their place. You'll be greeted with ice cold water, and free tea, fruits and cookies are available 24-7. Koy gave us a little tin of tiger balm as a farewell gift. The famous wat mahathat is right across the street! We'll return ☺
