This is a small private hostel, with an excellent host, extremely well decorated with an exotic atmosphere made of rustic carved wood furniture, tropical plants, very cozy with smiling and friendly staff. The atmosphere is always quite ZEN - quiet and calm - and you can order Thai massages by appointment. Breakfast is very good "a la carte" and they... More

Stayed here as part of my trip around Thailand and it was very friendly and homely and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. It may be too basic for some people but it was perfect for what I needed and would certainly recommend it to people.

Spent a few nights there and was able to visit and relax. It's a beautiful location and ruins are just across the street. Use a tuk tuk to get around. Lots to see there if you like ruins and temples. Anything else do your research. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The homestay is like a small motel with... More

The property might not qualify as a Hotel but the accommodation is clean and comfortable and the owners polite and welcoming. The location is a green oasis and it is obvious that the owner haver taken great care with the planting to achieve such a wonderful result. It has the expected TV - Fridge and Aircon and our room was... More

We only stayed for 1 night, 4th Feb, at this amazing homestay but were delighted with everything about it. It was nicely located, had a well kept garden and on entering, gave a wonderful first impression. It has character and is run by a lovely helpful family, gran, mother, son, daughter & aunt who do all they can to ensure... More

The guesthouse has a green, tropical garden but there are lots of mosquitoes. Staff were friendly. The standard room we booked wasn't quite clean. Central location but still very peaceful. Good experience overall.

Very pleasant home like hotel run by a sweet family. Beautiful trees surrounding the whole homestead w/ a place to park your vehicle or bike. Excellent breakfast made whenever you like upon getting up. The room was cozy with traditional decor. Very close to a great scooter rental place. We rented a scooter and about 7min away are lots of... More

My husband and I along with our 3-year-old boy stayed at Baifern Homestay during 28th-29 December and had a wonderful time there. We were welcomed by the owners and they made us felt like home on the very first day until the end of our stay. We had our meals there the whole time and loved them all. Tukta (... More

We had a lovely stay at this traditional Thai house - lovely people and delicious food especially the breakfast - they went out of their way to give us a ride to the train station when we could not find a taxi. Recommended for those who wish to have a small taste of traditional thai life.

The three generation family who run this homestay are very sweet and helpful, but the place is not near any good restaurants or sites and makes it difficult to commute to town easily and have a good meal after a long day of traveling/sightseeing. Also, our room was filled with mosquitos and I was bitten everywhere. Would be good if... More

“General Thailand Tip: When I travel in Thailand, I always carry a reading light.. As an older budget traveler, I like to read at night and a small traveling reading light is nice to carry in that most ceiling lights in are not strong enough for me to read. As with many nice homestays, there are limited electric plug-ins, so if you charge your phones and carry other electronic devices, I suggest you carry a multi-plug in extension. I also carry a can of mosquito spray.. although no problems in the rooms at Baifern, I spray my room at night before dinner so any residue is gone by the time I return from dinner and my sleep will not be bothered by the mosquitos. Baifern Homestay is a good choice for any traveler on a budget.”
