My partner and i stayed at this resort for two nights recently. We arrived via train from Bangkok and took a tuk tuk from the station. The Thai style rooms were beautiful with lively little seating areas dotted all around as well as private terraces at each room. Spa was excellent as was the pool area. We ate here a... More

We stayed at Baan Thai House with our 3 Young children. We had booked the family room in the Thai House, which was really great, except that the room is situated above the kitchen, so you get kitchen smells in the morning. The garden is beautiful and the kids loved the swimming pool.

Friendly staff and beautiful grounds make this a must stay hotel while in Ayutthaya. The rooms in the Thai house are large, clean and authentic with dark teak walls and furniture. The swimming pool is wonderful and the hotel offers free bikes for touring. There is an included breakfast that is good, although the evening dinner menu is very limited... More

We got in the hotel a bit late with the train from Bangkok, had some issues negotiating the cost of a tuk tuk there, even though it is not far from the train station. Staff was caring when we got there already late, slept tight and well, it looked really new and we enjoyed the cozy swimming pool, not huge... More

Baan Thai House is a pretty little resort, not far from some of the main temples of Ayutthaya. The resort features a charming water body, which adds to its appeal. There are tastefully done up independent cottages. The staff is friendly. I would have been happier if the wash rooms in the cottages had proper walls and not partially transparent... More

A peaceful oasis with a relaxed athmosphere. More a guest house than a hotel Baan Thai House offers simple but nice rooms with balcony (take one with views to the small lake), perfect friendly service, well kept gardens with pool, spa and a good restaurant. Everything will be organised in a perfect way, tuk tuk transfers, excursions and onward journey.... More

We stayed for 4 nights at the start of our holiday to Thailand and it was the perfect place to wind down and to recover from the flight. Absolutely loved it. We had a bungalow with a balcony at the side of the lake and we would get up early and sit there just watching the wildlife. It is easy... More

When you step into the grounds of Baan Thai House you are enchanted by the beauty and charm of the landscape and buildings. It is a delightful place to experience the gentleness, friendliness and culture of the ancient Kingom of Siam - with modern day facilities. The courtesy and efficiency of the staff adds an extra quality and whichever room... More

Me and my boyfriend just visited this hotel for two nights. It has lots of character to it and we enjoyed staying somewhere that felt Thai. The grounds were very picturesque and it felt really tranquil and calm being here. The reason I would not give a 5 star rating is we felt rushed by the staff to leave as... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking time to write a review for us. We do apologise for our staff impoliteness, we normally encourage staff to be aware what guest needs and prearrange transport in case it is difficult to find taxi and or tuk-tuk in a shot notice. We do understand and agree that it is inappropriate for... More

We stayed at the the Baan Thai House for the last 3 nights of our recent trip to Thailand in October 2015. We have tried to stay there a couple of times before on other trips to Thailand (2013 cancelled due to the flooding and 2010 we simply cancelled the Ayutthaya leg of our trip) and I have to say...
