I took a train from Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Station to Ayutthaya Station, and took a Grab from the station to the hotel. I stayed there for two nights as a single person. The rooms are spaciously laid out on the beautifully maintained, vast grounds, and it was nice to walk barefoot in the wooden rooms, so it was a very comfortable stay. You can rent a bicycle (it was over 40 degrees Celsius every day during my stay, so I gave up on the bicycle and used a Grab to tour the ruins).
The room was equipped with a refrigerator, water, a kettle, a tea set, snacks, a hair dryer, and amenities (I brought my own amenities), and the shower had plenty of hot water.
I was happy to have cut fruit for breakfast. In addition to toast, you can choose from several different main dishes. I chose Thai stir-fry on the first night and veggie omelet on the second night. It was delicious.
Wat Mahathat is within walking distance. There is a 7-Eleven, Cafe Amazon, an outdoor food court, and a night market within walking distance. On weekends, they hold a particularly lively night market.
Everyone at the inn was very kind to us. Although Ayutthaya can be visited as a day trip from Bangkok, we were glad to have spent some time there.

The hotel overlooks a fast-moving street in Ayutthaya even if the traffic is not intense and you can sleep peacefully at night.

The structure is almost entirely made of wood, surrounded by greenery and with large, well-furnished rooms. The furniture is in excellent condition and the feeling, as a whole, is more than pleasant.

In the morning breakfast is served on the ground floor, on a table there are some products which you can help yourself to (jams, bread, cornflakes, etc.) while the main course (omelette, rice, etc.) it must be ordered from the attendant and is prepared expressly by the cook.

A short distance away you can find a small food market but, going a little further, you also reach the most famous and largest one which develops along the river.

Some archaeological sites can also be reached on foot, while for those further away it is advisable to use a car or bicycle.

The hotel has a small private car park.

We stayed two nights at Luang Chumni Village. Having a particular attraction for traditional teak houses, I greatly appreciated the architecture of this Pension, I imagined myself to be at the time of Siam:) I enjoyed sitting in the beautiful teak lounge upstairs in the evening! The rooms, although a little dark, are beautiful and clean. The atmosphere is family friendly, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Speaking a little Thai, they were kind to me by pushing me to speak the language while speaking me softly so that I understood them, it was adorable! Breakfast is good and hearty and this is the only Inn I know so far in Thailand serving fresh orange juice. It is possible to rent a bike for 50 baht per day. There is a 7 eleven and a market street food (evening) 5/10 min walk. I recommend with my eyes closed.

Absolutely loved this place! All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. The rooms were really comfortable, especially the beds. Some free water offered in the mini fridge which is always nice and a delicious breakfast in the morning. I also really liked the location, pretty walkable to get to some of the main parts of the historical park or close to the bike rentals if you'd prefer to use those. All in all a great stay!

Just perfect. And this, for the sum of €70 for 2 nights, breakfast included. A very comfortable rustic style room, with a small terrace overlooking a garden. Additionally, the temple area is easily accessible. Everything is perfect.

Nice hotel, good location. Very nice staff and great breakfast. Staff speak English well and are very helpful. Nice firm beds. Only downside is the noise nuisance on the night. It's like the cars are in your room.

We were really astonished, after many regular rooms that we stayed in in Thailand, to find this place with traditional Thai houses and rooms. The experience was unforgettable, the service really great - the owner really goes an extra mile for her guests, which you will see once you arrive. Location is close to night market and key attractions and there are bikes available. Price is good and breakfast is included.

The best lodging in Ayutthaya in its price range. One of all-around best places we stayed anywhere in Thailand or Cambodia, in addition to being the most charming, by far. Definitely one of our favorites in S/E Asia.

The house is very warm with unique Thai architecture a lot of dark wood everywhere. The rooms and numerous balconies and patios are all very comfortable, inviting and relaxing.

The hostess is one of the friendliest and most helpful of any we encountered anywhere in Thailand and Cambodia. She speaks English pretty well and is more than happy to help you with transportation, restaurants, scooter rentals, massages, directions, or learning Thai.

Breakfast was consistently good and convenient.

Before staying here, we had reservations about the bathrooms being downstairs. Any reservations we had were alleviated as soon as we got to LCV. The bathrooms are large, comfortable, clean and private. The stairs leading to the bathrooms are relatively guarded (visibility-wise) and private as well. We ended up having no issues whatsoever with the bathrooms being downstairs.

The location is extremely convenient--it is relatively central to the sights and is on the same street as a 7-11 and the local night market.

We will look forward to returning to LCV next time we are in Ayutthaya.

We loved this place. We stayed here 1 night and it was perfect. The location is good, the house itself is amazing (all wood on the outside and surrounded by a moat), the beds comfortable and everything very clean! Despite the fact that the house was in a traditional style the AC worked perfectly and was strong, the wi-fi was good, and we didn't encounter any mosquitoes.

The best part about the stay is the staff - they are so helpful yet also laid back. As soon as we arrived they suggested the boat tour and arranged it for us - it was a great introduction to Ayatthuya and the price was the same as if we had booked it on our own. If they hadn't suggested it then we probably would have missed the opportunity to do it (as we were leaving the next afternoon). The lady who serves breakfast is so attentive and sweet! We only regret we didn't have more time to stay with Fon and Ake and learn about the water festival!

One thing to note for those who are disabled or have a hard time with stairs - the bathrooms are down a set of stairs (private but just not ensuite) so it's important to consider that. For us it wasn't a problem at all (nd the bathroom was very spacious and clean!

If you're staying in Ayatthuya, this is the perfect place!

Wij waren erg bang dat wij gestoken zouden worden, omdat er zoveel stil staand water aanwezig was. De kamer was mugvrij en om het bed was er klamboe aanwezig, super fijn!
