This was an interesting experience to stay at Tony's! We arrived from Bangkok with two trips in mind: Ayuthaya of course and kanchanabury. The night at Tony's was very warm, even though we had "air condition" (put it max 22 degrees, it doesn't work lower anyway!!), we previously had a good pat-Thai which warmed up even more! The receptionist helped... More

Tony's is well run. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Easy to walk to temples from here although the bicycle rental across the street makes it even easier. Room was clean and air conditioned-which is nice in Thailand!

Tony's place seems to be the coolest hangout in Ayutthaya, the rooms are good, the food is great and the location is really handy for the train station. You can hire bicycles for almost nothing and see a fascinating old city and the environs

Positives - Nice food and good location. Friendly enough staff. Negatives - Lizards and bugs in the room. Dirty flea ridden sheets. Rooms in dire need of decor. Overpriced for what it is. Rooms don't have proper locks. TV doesn't work properly. Very thin walls.

I had visit to Ayutthaya with my family. We have booked the room at this place, and it s not really the same what i saw on the Agency website. I got the room with not so clean, but I like the style of the room. I can stay there. But after I saw the bathroom with plaster of somebody!... More

You couldn't tell on arrival how noisy this place gets at night. Sleep is almost impossible, you feel like you are trying to sleep on the street. And the street is lined with bars, but that does not become apparent until nighttime when the rollershutters go up and the music is turned on - relentlessly. Because it is built from... More

Rooms are really cheap but not worth it. You can hear everything in the room. From your neighbours to the bars across the street. The sound of the music is so loud that we couldn t sleep and need to move the next day. Its a fancy place but not recommended for those who like to rest at night

Room was nice and big and of an interesting style (as was the rest of the building). As per other reviews there was not a lot of furniture to put stuff, but we did have a spare bed, which came in helpful to dump stuff. Location is very good on the tourist strip, opposite some good bars, 15-20 minute walk... More

Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant and pool which saved us from the melting heat...all for a cheap price. A nice retreat from Bangkok. However we did have a problem with bugs in the bed in a budget room, but the staff were great and quickly relocated us to a better room with air con.

We were taking public transportation from Erawan-Kanchanaburi-Suphanburi-Ayutthaya. And as we left Erawan on the 1400hrs bus, left Kanchanaburi on the 1530hrs bus and had just enough time to get on the last minivan to Ayutthaya at 1755hrs, we were knackered. The check-in was swift. Pretty good. The restaurant downstairs was lively with lots of customers, and a guy was having... More
