Fantastic lunch like a maharajah. best meal we ever had in India in a beautiful garden and so quiet... a dream ! off the beaten track. also a nice boutique for clothes , chales etc... at a great price for the quality.

The room we stayed in was amazing and that was the best part of it. Service is slow and at the same time over-attentive, a curious mix probably only to be found in India! Everyone really friendly, but just a little bit amateurish. Wouldn't have missed the experience. Go if you want something a bit quirky. Food in restaurant, breakfast great, dinner was poor. A bit of a problem, as there's really nowhere else to eat in Bassi, without going in to Chittor.

This hotel is in the middle of a building site. Lovely old building but hopelessly run, no real service or attention to guests and a neglected and grubby air about the place. One or two of the staff were friendly but overall the feeling of this hotel is that it has been abandoned . No functioning swimming pool as advertised.

We booked this hotels with the thought of having feel of our rich historic heritage. although hotel is not bad, absolutely we are no where to comment on such a fantastic architecture. But YESS. people who are managing are it are completely uneducated and unprofessional, which reflects on their behavior and how they deal with guests. @ managment you need to provide general etiquette training to your staff. also ---> Dirty mugs-buckets,used towel etc...cleanness and general hygiene.
