A lovely, genuinely old heritage hotel, built about 350 years ago. Dinner around the pool, by candlelight was lovely. We had the pleasure of a couple of chats with the Maharajah, whose family has lived here for 13 generations - gracious host indeed, whose sons now run the business. Free wifi is available but is restricted to the reception area.... More

Stayed one night in this castle. An out of the way place to get to but very relaxing once you arrive. Great outlook and lovely small local village to wander through. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beds a little on the hard side but rooms beautifully decorated and clean and tidy. Wifi only at reception and this was very weak... More

Very old castle converted into hotel. Stayed in the oldest part of castle, extremely step and large steps up to the room. Room was done up with period accessory. Lovely courtyard to have drinks in. Wifi only available at check in area a way from the rooms. Nice swimming pool. Great day trips from castle around local farms.

This is a beautiful castle converted to a hotel which has been tastefully done. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with modern bathrooms and 4 poster beds. There is an excellent pool that is perfect to lounge around on a hot day. We dined by the pool and enjoyed a lovely buffet with a wide variety of food. The... More

Castle Bijaipur is a lovely place to stay. Very clean rooms and good facilities. You can only get wifi in the reception and sometimes the pool area but I was there to relax and explore so it wasn't an issue for me. If you get a chance, please visit the Lake Retreat which has the same owner as the castle.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in off season we were the only ones there which made it extra special. The waiter yogy (the tall one) and his friend the shorter one, I can't remember his name..they were both amazing, smiling, singing, dancing and always cheerful and happy to help. They were so funny and really made... More

This is a small palace with its own beauty. Good rooms king size. Good decorum. Live like a king. It's a natural luxury palace centered inside the actual village. Room service is ok as don't expect too much. As I think are are no phones. Good swimming pool. Food is great. Horse riding is good as we can have a... More
