We only stumbled across this place whilst walking down the streets of Bundi feeling absolutely starving and rather weak from a long hot journey! The pretty blue painted archway looked rather inviting, and I am so so glad we decided to pop in! We already had a hotel so just tried the restaurant. Shashi was instantly welcoming, warm and friendly... More

The last room available was perfectly adequate for our needs. It was the first time that we have shared a bathroom, but that worked out just fine. Family members are welcoming and most helpful with any assistance the guests need. The food was good and things were prepared to your order. Everything was clean. The pictures on the walls and... I haven't come across so far with such unfriendly, unpolite and arrogant staff in all my journeys. They made us, compulsory, to pay for 2 nights in advance, even though we never agreed that we would stay for 2 nights in the first place but because we arrived very late at night we found ourselves with no other option. The... More

Chintu and Shashi made our stay in Bundi truely special. They were kind and helpful, and we felt more like one of the family than guests. Shashi organised a brilliant trip to the waterfall for us and we ever had a go driving the tuk tuk. Shashi is an excellent cook (try her garlic cheese naan). We were sad to... More

This charming haveli (indian house) painted in blue is the home of Chintu and Sashi, a very nice couple, with their lovely children. They welcomed me as part of the family, we spoke a lot about life and Sashi cooked me delicious meals, such as a Shai Chicken (house speciality) with cheese naan and basmati rice, served with a fresh... The Hadee Rani Guesthouse is a lovely old haveli with clean rooms that are covered in eclectic decorations. The decor added a smile to our stay! The guesthouse is in a central location in the middle of the town. We only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early, so we didn't get to see too much of the accommodations... More

The dinner was incredible if you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine. They serve veg and non-veg. There's a chicken special we ordered and they had to run out to the market to get the chicken, so you know the food is fresh! For that reason though make sure you go with enough time to sit and enjoy a drink while... More

We had hoped to stay here but when we rang they were full. However while in Bundi we saw their sign and called in for lunch. It was excellent - aubergine pakora and generous pots of tea. We had a long chat with the young couple who run the business and learned that the wife runs cookery classes. Her menu... More

Bundi is such a fantastic place to visit, full of history and beautiful architecture and the people are so friendly and relaxed, which is exactly what you get at Hadee Rani. The family are wonderful, their home is your home. Staying at Hadee Rani, which is over 450 years old, is like stepping back in time, but with wifi and... More

Shashi & her family make you feel at home in their big blue haveli. She is an excellent cook & made the best thali I've had in India. I planned on staying 3 nights in Bundi but liked it so much that I stayed here for a week. I had a comfortable but small room with shared bathroom & was... More
