Vivanta Goa, Panjim is a nice place to visit and stay. Well managed place, neat and clean place, ambience of the restaurants is very nice, staff is very humble and also helpful for whatever need you have in the hotel. Food is very tasty and also they provide authentic taste of the dish plus there breakfast buffet is awesome and also i booked for lunch and dinner that is also very very tasty.
We stayed only 2 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities not up to a 5 star hotel. Cleanliness is ok. Our room had a bit of bad smell. Room service is a bit expensive but good. The place needs some renewal but overall I can recommend.
Jewel in the crown. One of the reasons I didn't cancel my Goan holiday, when my friend was indisposed, was my desire to partake the hospitality of the Taj. Though I had stayed at the Taj earlier, on business at a conference, it was never on holiday. Somehow I could convince my mom to fill in, and was not disappointed. The service was unparalleled, even before I checked in, I got a couple of phone calls, asking me about my preferences, answering my queries, and informing me of the protocols that were to be followed. That set the tone, for the rest of the trip, and put me at ease, quelling my nerves of traveling in times of covid. In fact on the advice of my brother, I extended my stay for one more day, and am glad I did, wishing that I could stay more. During our stay here we rarely heard the word no, to any of our requests, going out of their way to see that we wanted for nothing. On the rare occasions that they had to refuse due to policy, like giving us a sharp knife to cut the fruit, it was we who felt bad, that they were constrained, and couldn't be of assistance. The Taj really sets the gold standard of hospitality, with everything as perfect as it could be, from the rooms, the food, and the service, all top class. As for the staff, they are superlative, never did we see an iota of hesitation, to even our most outlandish requests. Rather even behind their obligatory masks, we could sense that they were happy, giving credence to the motto, service with a smile. My only grouse is that they have spoilt me for life, and I will never be able to stay anywhere else, always comparing it to our stay here. I'm simply out of words at this point, and can only exclaim, "Wah Taj. "…
Everything was excellent expect two things. First: It was the first time ever that i had to make the full payment at the time of check in. it was a business trip and they had all the details event then. Was a bit weird as i have not done this ever. Second: I workout regularly and the gym was only open between 7am-7pm. Now if i am travelling for work and am leaving the hotel at 8:30 AM and coming back at 6:30 PM then how do i use the gym. At other locations the in-house guests are allowed for longer. I will be travelling to Goa and Bhubaneshwar (Vivanta) properties but if these are the conditions. I might have to look at other properties.
We took a package at Vivanta called the "Momentus" which included a nice cabana dinner and many other facilities. Their service, hospitality, ambience, were all unbelievable good. We truly enjoyed our stay. If ppl are traveling on a honeymoon, you should try the Momentus package. It includes a lot of stuffs which will make your stay way more exciting.
