Cocolobo welcomes guests looking for a friendly island retreat. Whether you are a diver or just wanting to relax, you'll love our tranquil setting. Just 5 minutes walk from the dive shops, restaurants and night-life of West End, you can return to Cocolobo and hear only the sound of the sea. There are 10 ocean front studios with either a king bed or two double beds, some rooms have pull out couches. All studios have a kitchenette, air conditioner (nightly fee may apply), ceiling fan, spacious bathroom, balcony, ocean view, tv with cable and wifi! There are two cottages with full kitchens, loft bedrooms and porches to enjoy the outdoors. Cocolobo also has large spacious garden homes with either two or three bedrooms with large living spaces to enjoy! Come enjoy our two pools, ocean view and tropical gardens in West End!

We stayed for several nights in the Paya Bay king bedroom on the second floor of the northern ocean facing building. Beautiful ocean view, clean and nicely appointed with a refrigerator and other basic kitchen essentials. The air conditioning worked very well. Plenty of space for two people. The pool was fantastic for reading and relaxing, soaking in the sun and enjoying the scenery. Cocolobo is a easy 8-12 minute walk to the heart of West End which makes it both convenient for people who wish to walk but also very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was provided and varied each day. Cheryl, the property manager was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. This was our second visit to Cocolobo and we will return.

I stayed for 8 days at Cocolobo while I was in Roatan for a dive trip. Lesly was not easy to communicate with, but since they added Cheryl, she was a gem! She was quick to respond and so helpful and friendly while on site. She was always helpful with tips and advice and had my room cleaned and fresh towels delivered anytime I asked. The rooms are comfortable, the AC worked great. Drinking water provided on site as well as kitchen supplies and a nice sized fridge in the room. Loved having a microwave and toaster oven in the kitchen as well. Cocolobo is located at the end of a quiet street so its very peaceful, but still very close to town so you can easily walk. Loved the pool and the view too! Also, loved Joanna who made the best breakfast every morning, thank you Joanna! I will definitely be back!…

We stayed at Cocolobo Condos, Cottages & Lodges which was perfect for us. The oceanfront room, all the lush floral fauna and adorable critters was everything we wanted. Birds, lizards, deer, agoutis, bats and their resident cats greeted us every morning! The rooms were clean, and stocked generously with toiletries, towels and safe drinking water. Cheryl, the on-site manager, was a dream to talk to and work with. Her and Joanna both ensured we had everything we wanted during our stay. Great location, very quiet and safe, ~10 minute walk to West End with lots of amazing food. Will happily come back again!

Wonderful stay in a tropical paradise. Cheryl was very helpful throughout. My room had a direct view to the sea; although it was probably 150 meters away, and in between the terrain was rugged corral. A superb view directly to the sun as it set in the west. It was pleasantly hot, sunny, and gorgeous. The room was well-appointed, clean, and very safe. I used the AC as little as possible, but it depends on your preference. Internet was good; TV was basic. Great diving nearby, which is why I went to Roatan. Also, a safe walk to town where there are great bars and restaurants.

Excellent, quiet, low key stay at Cocolobo. Cheryl was great when communicating our flight delays. Friendly staff, big quiet room and nice breakfast. If you're looking for an out of the way place yet within a short walk to the bars and restaurants of the West Side this is the place!

WOW - what a perfect place for a first time visitor to Roatan! The Property - just slightly off the main drag which was a huge plus - I got some steps in (maybe 7 min walk to hit the West End) but was just far enough that I felt like I wasn't caught up in the hustle and bustle of the very busy West End. The Room - perfect. Gorgeous view of the ocean, flora and fauna abound. Comfy bed, small kitchenette, hot shower and cold AC. My sleep score went up and I got some of the most relaxing Z's I've ever had. The People - can't say enough about Cheryl and the staff. Always available to help with questions and suggestions. Great breakfast. Fun Trivia Night (even if I didn't win lol). Just a warm and welcoming team. Cocolobo is exactly what my husband and I were looking for in Roatan. It’s in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the ocean. The landscape is lush and home to deer and agoutis. And while you can’t access the ocean from their property, you don’t have far the walk to reach an access point. You also don’t have to walk far to reach the town of Westend, maybe an 8 minute walk to restaurants, bars, dive shops and Half Moon Bay.

Coco Lobo was such a wonderful experience! We were warmly welcomed and Cheryl was such a joy and helped us with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed gathering with other guests and residents during the sunset gatherings on the deck. Our unit was perfect in every way. Great bed, super clean, amazing ocean views, awesome deck and hammock! The grounds were beautiful, wildlife viewing was a treat, and the location was just right. We were able to easily walk to West End for resturaunts, snorkeling, etc., but it was far enough to be nice and quiet. Thanks for helping to make our vacation everything we had hoped for! This resort was super clean, comfortable, friendly and safe! It was a hidden paradise within walking distance of the West End. Two different pools were relaxing and comfortable. The pool near the ocean had a great view!

Cocolobo is a gem! As a solo traveler I always felt safe. Even on the walk to and from town, as it is well lit. Cheryl is incredibly responsive and friendly. She immediately made me feel at home and was able to get me a dinner reservation I couldn’t get on my own. Everything was clean, the shower had an endless supply of hot water, and the drinking water never ran out. You’ll LOVE the daily visitors of deer, watusi, lizards, and the resident dog and kitties! When I visit Roatan again I won’t consider another spot but Cocolobo.
