We stayed at Posada Arco Iris in mid-Feb, and we arrived in the middle of that crazy stint of heavy rain. Our first three days, non-stop downpours. Luckily, we had a great room that was clean, roomy, and had a nice private bathroom and a small kitchen. It was just perfect. We were towards the back of the property, so... More

Stayed at the Arco Iris one night until I found a better option. It is reasonably priced for a 2 bedded room, but there are better value options. Air con and kitchenettes cost extra. There is no TV if you want that. Location is quite good and not far from dive shops and a grocery store. They had a nice... More

After my 4th time for an extended time staying with them in West End, I want to express what a great place Posada Arco Iris is to stay and enjoy all that West End and Roatan has to offer. Over the years they have always impressed me with their staff kindness, consideration for their guests and their big clean comfortable... More

I love the location and the feel of the place, but the roof was leaking in at least two of the rooms. It felt like we were in a tree house which I loved and the rooms had great hard wood floors and exposed wood rafter ceilings.

Hi Mike Sorry for all the inconvenience and thank you for letting us know, since we haven't had such a heavy rain in a while we didn't know that there is a big problem with the roof. We have been working on fixing it and in 2 days time will be done and make sure that the leeks will not... More

The room was a great value. There were some electrical issues. The location was great. The only major issue was the sand fleas, which the office insisted were flies. I was covered in bites about 20 minutes after entering the water. Day #2 I used coconut oil and didn't have as much of an issue with them.

We had a really great stay at Posada Arco Iris. We had never been to Roatan before, so I was relying on Trip Advisor's reviews alone for deciding where to stay. I had been trying to decide between Land's End, Coco Lobo, the Beach House, Mame Tree, and Posada Arco Iris. In the end we went with PAI due to... More

I usually try to do a basic hotel with a great location for part of my stay. This hotel was more than basic. Room was big with two beds, fridge, full tub and shower. Nice beach chairs and at sister hotel on west bay. Books to exchange at desk area. Staff was super helpful and planned a day excursion for... More

If you plan to do several activities outside all day, like diving, snorkeling, etc., this is a great hotel. Prices are accessible and it is located in a strategic place in West end, near enough of the shops and restaurants, but far enough for not be disturbed by night activity noise. You can spot a great view in front of... More

This place is in a great location and perfect if you are on a budget. We had the upstairs room with a/c, and a little kitchenette. There were 2 beds and this was perfect for me and my best friend. We were able to cook a few light meals. This place is right across the street from the beach and... More

We stayed in this property for 6 nights. Our general opinion is that it's definitely not worth your money. There are many options in Roatan, so we suggest you not choose for this one, even though it's recommended by the Lonely Planet (Definitely not worth it!!!) - When we arrived at the hotel the manager looked too busy to help...
