We visited Roatan in March and were stranded due to Covid19 when our flights home were all cancelled & the airport closed for a week. While we weren’t staying at the Beach House we checked out the rooms etc. in case we wouldn’t be able to stay at our original accommodation. The rooms and location were fabulous while reasonably priced & I would highly recommend this hotel. Karyn, one of the owners was extremely helpful in connecting us with a What’s app chat group that gave us important information about the situation on Roatan and arranging new flights home. We had breakfast there several times & the food & service were excellent! I highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I stayed at The Beach House in March. We arrived the day before Honduras closed their borders due to COVID-19. We can't say enough about the staff during what could have been a stressful time. Karyn and Chuck made sure we were always in the loop with any news about getting a flight back to the US and hooked us up with a group that eventually got us home. While it could've been quite unsettling not knowing how we would get back, it was actually very lovely. The weather was great. The hotel sits right on a beautiful beach which was empty. The hotel restaurant was allowed to stay open and they had excellent food. We also had a great room - room D. It is at the top of the hotel and had a private balcony with amazing views. We will definitely be back once everything returns to normal. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you loved Suite D as much as we do! Thank you for your patience during what could have been a very stressful time and we are glad you were able to get home safely. When everything settles, Roatan will be waiting for you both! See you soon.

We had a fantastic 6-day family stay at The Beach House after 6 days just outside of West Bay. The Beach House is this amazing little oasis right in the epicentre of the mild hustle and bustle of West End. It offers easy access to a ton of excellent restaurants (one of the best of which is its own) and all that West End has to offer, while still managing to maintain quiet and calm. We had a lovely daily routine of walking along the beach to start the day with a magical little snorkel, would chill throughout the day and then do another family snorkel in the afternoon - all without ever setting foot in a boat (other than one wonderful outing with JC Adventures - see separate review!). We snorkelled with rays, barracuda, squid, eels, and gorgeous tropical fish of many colours (with beach entry!) - it was magical. The team at The Beach House was super friendly and helpful and we felt incredibly comfortable their (great newly renovated room). Highly recommended!

If you’ve stayed at The Beach House in the past, you’ll be jazzed by the recent renovations to rooms. Completely updated bathrooms and kitchens, brand new kitchen equipment and furniture—some new windows and doors in the larger units. If you’ve never been there, then add to that the fact that it’s still the best location in West End, with a wonderfully friendly and attentive staff.
