Wonderful place. I stayed there for 2 weeks and every day was a unique experience. I really enjoyed the private access to the beach and the dock that takes straight to the colorful reef and turquoise caribbean water. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. My bungalow was oceanfront located and I could enjoy the beautiful caribbean sea view while laying on the hammock. Talia and her staff are very nice and professional, looking over every single detail making sure my staying was pleasant and enjoyable. Last but not least the food was delicious. A mix of international cuisine alternate with local flavors that completed and fulfilled my caribbean vacation experience. Exellent experience, I will definitely be back.
Arrived after a long trans-atlantic flight and it was the perfect spot to recover and unwind. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous. Thanks to Talia and all her staff for making it a wonderful stay.
My husband and I stayed 10 nights with other couples who were stranded in Paradise. Darren said it all in review below, as to how Augusta, Harris and their staff took such great care of us during the Covid19 crisis. As we all waited for our evacuation flights, Augusta was there at the helm, keeping us all updated. Despite the situation, we really enjoyed everything this resort has to offer. The beauty of the water, walks on the beach, snorkeling, etc., and most of all the delicious food cooked by Harris and Augusta. Our beachfront cabin was so comfortable, cleaned spotlessly everyday during our time up at the…
Stayed 13 nights at Puerta Azul during the Covid19 crisis. The island was in lockdown for much of the time we stayed in Roatan. All the flights out of Roatan were cancelled for a week. Augusta was so helpful throughout our whole stay. She kept us up to date on what was happening, picked up food for us drove us to the store. Augusta made us feel comfortable during this time. The resort was very beautiful and look forward to retuning in the future.
