I slept there one night and had a dinner in the lush greens of its beautiful garden. Service is well trained, it didn't take long which is a big plus in Ghana. The fish was fresh and yummy. Best place for candle light dinner for couples. Good vibes and a friendly atmosphere. My room was good value too... very clean... More

Jeff Asmah is the best host in Cape Coast. This used to be the guest house of Barclays Bank about sixty years ago. Excellent tropical architecture. World class beer garden. The former Catering Rest House, just below it has been restored but it is no real competition. Fantastic view of Ghana's first and most famous High School Mfantispim.

The place is located on a quiet hill, not far from the Cape Coast castle (not even 5 minutes by car). The room was clean and large, very breezy, and featured all you need (desk, fridge, AC, armchairs, mosquito nets in the windows...) + the largest bed in the world. The food was tasty and portions huge, and the staff... More

I and my friends stayed here for 6 nights. Lovely view, courteous staff and the food is just awesome. There's no WiFi when I visited, but Airtel network is superb here and that's what I used. It's about 15 minutes walk from Cape Coast bus station if you walk. I'll definitely come back again with my friends. Try the tuna... More

Lovely hilltop B & B, great breakfast especially the pineapple jam.More expensive than local B & Bs but very different to them too. We stayed for a week and the staff were always welcoming. Breeze because of being on a hill made this a lovely place to stay.

I have stayed at Kokodo a few times and would definitely go back. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. Admittedly some of the rooms have seen better days but they're reasonably priced and as good as anywhere else in Cape Coast. The best room is the one inside the main building, where the restaurant is.... More

Stayed over in Kokodo for a week and had the best time. The food was great (the home-made pineapple jam for breakfast was fantastic!) and the staff - Sarah, Martin, Selina, Tina and Grace were so lovely. The breeze on the balcony provided a great spot to have a drink and meet local residents and Jeff couldn't have been a... More

It seems as though this guesthouse has seen better days. A pity because it really is a beautiful villa with tons of potential. The best shower I have had in Ghana! The restaurant's food was quite good and the staff were generally helpful. We were left alone at the guesthouse at night and on the last night there had an... More

Stayed here one night in early December, 2013. We were the only guests and it seemed we were not worth gearing up for. For instance, in the evening there was WiFi in the lobby, but the next morning it was gone. We investigated and the owner had taken the router home for the night. On the positive side, our very... my favorite place in cape coast. I bring all my visitors to Kokodo and everybody is always amazed at the spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, the very friendly service , a nice word and smile from Jeff always included. all kind of food is served, my favorite: pork chops and potatoe wedges. from Kokodo, the castles, beaches and kakum are...
