We stayed here 3 nights to do some birding in the area including visiting Kakum Forest Reserve. The room has good air conditioning and the beds were comfortable. Each day we received cleaning service in our room. We had all of our meals there and we would order the local

Ideal place to stay to visit Kakum. Rooms large but dated each containing a fridge and ancient TV. Everything was reasonably clean and tidy. Breakfast and dinner very good with an extensive menu but we stayed simple and local. Staff very friendly and good cheap beer. Breakfast

Hi there (please note I'm not answering on behalf of the hotel!): do you have a tour booked, or are you travelling on your own? You can certainly hire a car and driver in Accra, but it's a long way to the Rainforest Lodge from there! There is public transit, I believe, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. The drive from Accra to Cape Coast and on up to Jukwa takes several hours however you do it -- the roads are not great in places and traffic is heavy.
