The rooms are luxurious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is a little pricey but there are plenty of places you can eat in the town for cheaper. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxury getaway!

After travelling for 5 weeks this was the ideal place to chill for a couple of days. The room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. We used the pool as it was well maintained, clean and a reasonable size. We had a number of meals and drinks, including a delicious breakfast that was included in our package. I would not...

Owned by a former Ambassador and his partner (currently for sale, I believe) and their adorable dog, Lorenzo, this hotel is a gem. Located in the colonial style city of Suchitoto, this hotel is full of beautiful art and knickknacks from around the world, a library with a piano, a restaurant and pool, and a beautifully landscaped courtyard in which...

This multi-level property has impressively decorated public rooms, gallery and reception on the first level that also has Wi-Fi on an outdoor patio. Some rooms are also located on this level. The second level has the restaurant and an outdoor patio where breakfast can be taken. On the lower lower was our room, near the outdoor pool. The property makes...

The welcome is warm, the renovation sympathetic and the rooms are comfortable. You could spend all your time just looking at the art, sculpture and furnishings - or the gardens! If you're not a 'dog person', don't worry, Lorenzo will be gentle with you! We did not have a choice of room, but would definitely opt for one of the...

The hotel grounds are stunning, the rooms are superb and the staff were really friendly - even the hotels dog! The swimming pool was refreshing and much needed after a day hiking the mountains with ex guerillas...

Superb hotel with traditional style blended with excellent facilities. Good location and great views of the lake from some of the newer rooms. From entry to exit everything about this hotel was top class. Lovely helpful and welcoming staff, great food and a wonderful quiet location but still convenient for the central square. We simply loved it! Pity the owners...

We visit here every spring with a group of 10-20 people. Pascal and Joaquin have never let us down. We were treated like royalty with wine tasting with live music and a fabulous dinner. Our 3 days and 2 nights never seems enough!
