Hotel building, and furnishing is excellent, overlooks a breathtaking view.. location is however a long drive from downtown and most activities.. Staff are kind and friendly.. Moroccan chef is excellent and dinner is super, but breakfast is poor. If you’re not used to ecolodges, get your own rechargeable lights. Rooms are cleaned upon request, general cleanliness is good except for some remote floor seatings.
The moment you arrive to the Taziry Ecolodge you instantly réalisé this is THE place where peace and serenity would be found. The scenery, personalized service and delicious food will pamper you throughout your memorable stay. Siwa = Taziry
One of few ecolodges in Siwa Oasis , beautiful scenery , nice setting , clean rooms and excellent food . Ideal for honeymooners. Three nights would be just sufficient if you could not stay away from technology for long
We have stayed at Taziry with our groups over a dozen times over the past 5 years, and have always selected Taziry as a result of the friendly atmosphere and good service rendered to our clients. Unfortunately, our trip and stay there last week according to what our clients reported needs serious attention and involvement from the Taziry owners. Several tour members reported that the towels in their rooms were not changed on a daily basis, while one couple actually found dirty towels obviously belonging to previous guests on the very first day after check in? Our bathroom shower hose was torn apart causing water to flood the bathroom not to mention disabling us from being able to take a shower. They changed the hose after us complaining something they should have done before our checking in. The major complaint almost shared by all 36 tour members in all 20 rooms was the zero level of room cleanliness. The food as usual was the highlight of our stay due to the wonderful taste and presentation by Chef Mohamed Saharty and his team. We certainly understand that Taziry along with its competitors have suffered severely the past few years due to the downfall of tourism in general, however and according to what we learned from Taziry, business has picked up very well, which should have encouraged them to work even harder to attend to every detail ensuring clients were happy and satisfied, rather than be negligent of the simple factors that make a break any property - Cleanliness & attention to detail.…
A visit to the Siwa Oasis located near Egypt’s western borders is not complete without a stay at the Taziry Ecolodge. Owned and managed by a Moroccan family residing in Egypt, Taziry is without a doubt a heavenly place where guests feel they are at home away from home. Food mostly from the Moroccan cuisine is one of the highlights of the resort and wether one likes it or not you will surely gain weight. As an Ecolodge with no electricity power, no TV in your room has proven to truly be a blessing for those who seek a peacefully vacation away from the hustling and bustling of the big cities. I highly recommend Taziry.
