Personnel is very friendly and your are spoilt non-stop. Was too short! The scenery is picturesque - especially the sunsets. The resort looks like pictures out of a book... The food is outstanding and the buffets are so extensive, it is difficult to choose. Will definitely recommend.

We went as a family to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is one of the cleanest we've been to and the staff go above and beyond, constantly asking how everything is, if you need anything and what more can be done to improve. Chefs come and ask how your food was after every meal. We found the Italian and Mediterranean restaurants to be very poor, quality of food wasn't enjoyable and were the quietest restaurants, we guessed because of this. However, the Japanese, Seafood and Lebanese were incredible. I'd recommend asking staff to add their recommendations to your order. are note that some of the a la carte restaurants are open for lunch but not many people know this so definitely make use of that. As the drinks are all inclusive make sure you specify if you want alcohol or no alcohol in cocktails. Items on the menu can be changed and staff are happy to take things out/off and add things in/on. The beach is quite stoney so we'd recommend taking sea shoes. We booked our trips from the dive centre next to the hotel on the beach, we dealt with Sallah and he was amazing. The staff were lovely and made us feel safe and spoke great English. We went on a boat to dive and snorkel and went back to book a second trip for quad biking and camel riding. Be sure to take small cash for tips as this is very much still within the Egyptian culture. The evening entertainment is very much child orientated and when we visited the hotel was very quiet/empty so if you like to be busy maybe look at leaving the hotel or finding a bar you like as most evenings we were the only ones in there. …

I just closed a fantastic holiday period in Steigenberger Alcazar. 5 stars luxery hotel , 7 stars services. Everybody of the hotel staf smiles and want to help you . Making sure you have a fantastic holiday period Also all the different restaurants give excellent food. We go back for sure!

We had a brilliant stay at the Steigenberger. Hotel had plentiful sunbeds, was lovely and quiet. All staff were lovely and helpful, always bringing round cold towels. We sat around the 2nd pool whilst we were there as we enjoyed the music and the snack bar. If I had to nit pick I would of appreciated more drinks being bought round the pool for this high class of a hotel. Rooms were huge with brilliant amenities! We stayed in a family room as it was what TUI allocated us but liked that it gave us an extra room to keep our suitcases. The food is really what makes this hotel stand out! With unlimited A La Cartes you will never have a bad dinner! We tried almost every restaurant and enjoyed them all (our favorites being the seafood and Lebanese) Breakfast buffet was good with lots of choice including pancakes, fruit and lots of pastries although some cereals and some more 'English' breakfast would of been appreciated. For lunch we always ate at the snack bar by the pool with fresh pasta, pizza and sandwiches. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with the food!! We enjoyed the terrace bar in the evening, the service for drinks here is outstanding! Many thanks to all the waiters and barmen who made us fresh cocktails and helped carry our drinks to the theatre for us. The only thing that let this hotel down is the entertainment. The evening entertainment is good and lots of singers around the hotel however in the day we enjoy doing things like water polo, volleyball and darts. They had all of the facilities there but just didn't seem to have it organised to let people know what was going on and get people up. It was a huge letdown for us as this is something we love doing. This was our 9th visit to Egypt. After reading the reviews about this hotel. We decided to stay at this fabulous hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff or management. Special mention to the food director who always made us feel welcome, the room manager who always seemed to be there to make sure that all guests were having a wonderful time and to the pool waiter who was so attentive. We spent two wonderful weeks here in May '23. Everything from the architecture, grounds maintenance, food quality, entertainment to customer service was outstanding. The hotel is luxury and the staff have no limits to their friendliness and helpfulness. A particular thanks to Mohamed Abdel Galil Rooms Division Manager who is so helpful and whose team are a real credit to him. And also to Anas who works at Pool 2 bar who made our stay extra special. We have already booked to return next year and will more than likely be coming with friends. We upgraded directly with the hotel from a family suite to a family swim up suite. We have an 11 month old baby who refuses to nap in a pushchair so the swim up room meant that we could relax on the ground floor terrace or have a swim in our swim up. Lovely and clean pool. The room was a good size and the door between the main bedroom and the children's sleeping area provided a bit of extra privacy. The food at every outlet was outstanding. Our standout experience was from Amoura the Lebanese a la carte restaurant. Every bite was heaven (we visited three times and it was consistently excellent) as was the service and the atmosphere with the live musician and dancer later in the evening. We've had Lebanese many times around the world but this was the best. …

Second visit to this hotel (already booked to return in November). Once you have stayed here you will not want to stay anywhere else. It is perfect. The hotel is wonderful. What makes the experience special are the staff. Every single one of them will make you feel like a VIP. There is nothing they will not do for you. Whilst we were there some family members were also staying in Sharm. We invited them to join us for dinner one evening. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Islamy (our best friend) for arranging a wonderful evening for us – the best night we have ever had in Egypt. Also thank you to Hady for his attention and to Chef Marco (Teppanyaki) for the wonderful food and entertainment. Thank you to Ahmed (Alex) for your wonderful service during our stay and especially when we had our guests. There is also one person who deserves a special mention. Ibrahim (General Manager) is the kindest and most helpful person we have ever met. We thank you for everything you did for us during our stay. You were always available and even arranged access to a laptop when I had an urgent need to use one, thank you. The hotel is superb either for leisure or for business, I was a part of a group and the services were beyond our expectations, staff are very welcoming and so attentive to all the details, views of the rooms are super, rooms are clean and spacious in modern style, atmosphere is so amazing, food quality is super and everyone at the hotel is doing his job very perfect with a big smile on their face, I will definitely come to the hotel again and will recommend it to my customers
