I didn`t like the staff's relationships with clients, they are very rude, rooms were average. this is an economical hotel. meal, not good tastes awful. wi-fi only for the price. It`s better to buy a sim card in the shop, which is located next to the hotel on the left side, it`s the cheapest store in this area. I definitely won`t come back. Animation average, the only the best from the staff is the boy who offers a lot of kinds of massages. very attentive and with good manners.
This resort is so in need of a facelift. Very friendly staff, lovely food. Some of the toilets aren’t very clean and our room wasn’t ready n the first night we both have mosquito bites every though we use spray. Lovely view of sea. Sea World Dive Club have some great trips out.
Lovely and pleasant location Hotel a bit dated made up for by the wonderful and amazing staff Lots of swimming pools and snorkeling off the pier into the Red Sea. Plenty of good and choices. Several restaurant choices Love the Italian restaurant
Been there a few times and each time it has been a very friendly place good atmosphere and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and sheets and towels are changed every day also good internet if you have any problems Mr Shendy is always very helpful.
We went on a 2 weeks holiday hoping to get sun sea and sand-we got that and so much more All the extras curtesy of our hotel-Amwaj Oyoun Resort We have holidayed in Egypt often but this is our first stay in Sharm-El Shakir for many years The Amwaj Oyoun was full of surprises which set it apart from many hotels we have stayed in. The whole complex offered plenty of space within well maintained gardens for comfortable eating, sunbathing and relaxing. The beach is a really beautiful stretch with no shortage of sun beds, beach games and water sports. The snorkelling and beautiful reef is easily accessible at the end of a long jetty with an attendant always on duty to help if needed The animation team of 6 work hard and creatively to provide varied entertainment for all the guests age groups Most members of the staff we came into contact with were keen to support our needs and always welcoming. Being realistic-The food was varied and obviously not all to our taste as there were varied nationalities to be catered for but one things for sure-we never went hungry The Italian restaurant is complimentary for one visit but Easter Sunday they hosted a meal with a live music gig from a saxophonist What a treat and one of the highlights of our holiday A special shout out goes to Doaa-(customer services )always there to listen and help Mahmoud-a very professional waiter and Oscar-head of animation They were always keen to take onboard guest comments to provide a guest experience that delivered Two comments we shared were acted upon-not ignored-we appreciated that service This hotel like so many in the service sector both home and abroad are recovering from the negative effects of COVID. It was reassuring to witness the hard work being put into this recovery for the sake of the holiday makers Thank you Doaa and all of the staff for your attention Good luck with your continued efforts to deliver holidays to remember for so many reasons. We hope to be back to enjoy your hospitality again. Susan and Paul (I’m posting this on behalf of my Mum who doesn’t do tech stuff) x See our video below.…
I stayed with family and friends for a period of 7 days. The hotel is placed in a great location in sharm. It's about 10 mins by car or bus from the airport and around 20 to 30 mins from sharm old market / nana bay / Soho quare. Pros and cons shared below: Pros: Great location as said above Private beach well suited for family esp with kids. Private coral reef ideal for snorkeling Great outdoor space or garden with swimming pool facility Good size room with air condition Decent entertainment for kids Food is average - nothing special. Cons: Need to consider renovating the whole place with new and modern furniture. Broken shower units and unmanned walls Put more effort in providing quality food than quantity. Train staff to be more polite and hospitable Avoid using plastic cups for any sort of beverage (I understand you claim it's cos of covid but consider the environment too) I enjoyed my stay in Amwaj but I am not sure whether I will reconsider the hotel and place for another stay. The hospitality in general is not at its best. Staffs are rude at times and don't really care whether they need yo serve the guest or not. However, they are young kids without much experience (so pls don't have high expectations). The assistant general manager who supervises the facility is friendly and hospitable. There are couple of guys from the service team who does a good job - the young chef who is at the live counter making omelette. He is found at times at the beach bat kitchen. Staffs from the pool bar are also friendly who is willing to make you some cocktails to make your experience better. My general comment would be to focus on training the staff, offer a better quality of food (people appreciate quality food over quantity), offer better choices of alcohol and pls start serving back in glasses - drinking in plastic glass for 7 days is horrible. …
Very good location with relaxing view, rooms was very good and clean, the staff was very helpful, and the food have a very Delicious taste and variety in the open buffet, special thanks for Chief gamal and for Miss Doaa the Public Relations manager and for Mr. Alaa the Hotel manager.
We had a beautiful sea view room. The staff is very kind. The cooks Allaa Abouray and Ahmed Elsyeaf with their collaborators prepared typical Egyptian food trying to meet Western tastes. There was a great choice of dishes: first, second and desserts. All the food was great. The room waiter Mustafa was attentive and very kind. The room was very large, always clean, served coffee and kettle. Managers Mohammed and Doaa were very attentive to our needs. The spa is very nice, the staff is prepared and very kind, massages are performed by experienced people.
Excellent location and atmosphere. I loved the romantic mood and the photographer. The food was amazing as well. The idea is great by having the restaurant by the beach, it was so relaxing. Overall amazing. Thank you Doaa for organising the special dinner.
There are some very good points to this hotel, the location is excellent, the staff are helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It is also very clean. However there are some very bad bits about the hotel: the food on the all inclusive is absolutely terrible - it is always cold, and the chicken was undercooked numerous times. The bathrooms are awful, and the spa is overpriced. The al carte restaurants are disgusting. Overall this hotel is cheap, but it is certainly not 5*.
