Just got home from an amazing 2 weeks at the parrotel beach resort. The hotel grounds are stunning, a lot of work goes in to keeping them looking so nice. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds. The pool itself is cold but is well needed after a short while in the sun. The rooms (although they are pretty dated and could do with a refurb) are big and cleaned daily. Our house keeper was amazing, left us some beautiful creations on our bed. The aircon in the rooms also worked really well and was well needed after a day in the sun. The food in the hotel was the only thing that let it down for us, we really weren’t keen on much at all. Breakfast omelettes were our favourite meal, we ate out every day after 5 days of been there. I think the main issue is that it is almost the same things every day. They did have a sushi bar one night and made the sushi fresh in front of you which was amazing but other than the the food isn’t great. The beach is nice, you will need water shoes though as the sand is quite rough and there’s lots of sharp pebbles about. The fish in the sea are great to see and we enjoyed several walks down the jetty to see them! The staff are what makes this hotel. Every single member of staff we saw could not do enough for us. Reda at the toucan bar (in main lobby) was great. Ibrahim at the pool bar then he moved to the toucan bar (when Reda went home) was amazing. Really looked after us during our stay. Ibrahim and Ahmed at the pool bar were excellent! Esmail in the restaurant made sure we had everything we needed! Syed Khairy really made us feel so welcome and took the time to speak to us every time we saw him! Tamer in reception was brilliant and Sam in the animation team was amazing! Last but not least (the guy I will miss the most) Ahmed Fakry who works around the pool/towel area! Omg he was amazing, always took our towels to our beds for us and set them up. Would not let us do them ourself, he came and saw us every single day. He really took the time to speak to us and we really enjoyed seeing him around the pool every day! As we were leaving there was a lot of work been done around the site for example the showers around the pool and all the bins were re sprayed. The Shisha bar was all re rendered and painted. So it looks like they are now trying to get the place looking fresh again. One last thing to add…. The mosquitoes in Egypt are BAD. I get bitten alot on holiday anyway but I took lots of extra precautions with me this time. Plug ins, mosquito bands, took garlic tablets, b12 tablets and antihistamines for 4 weeks in total (before and during our stay) also have the Avon skin so soft spray and another mosquito repellant and I was still bitten around 30 times. We did buy a spray called “off” whilst there and this did seem to help a lot. But I had plenty of trips to the pharmacy, even had an injection to try relieve the itching as it was driving me mad. Everyone was covered in bites so I recommend to anyone visiting Egypt takes every precaution they can. Thank you so much everyone at Parrotel!…
The hotel is lovely, room gets cleaned daily, staff are always cleaning around the resort, the only thing that lets it down is the food, it’s not 5* food, other than that, everything is lovely, staff are friendly cant do enough for you, entertainment is good for kids also
Me and my wife came to this resort for 10days during our honeymoon, I was already here 3 years ago and I knew it would be the right place, at just 10 minutes from the airport, is a great complex builded in the past by the Radisson Blue it has a great touch in the whole design. In the middle of the resort there’s an enormous circular pool, and a second smaller one is located close to the sea side, they have a little spa with professional masseuse, a small gym, 3bars, 3 restaurant plus the main one, few shops, a medical centre and a dive centre where you can book unique excursions and the main “TO DO” DIVING 🤿!! Mainly “RAS Mohammed and White Island”. I personally recommend to buy excursions trough them directly in the resort than trough the travel agency, ESPECIALLY if you booked with ITRAVEX…I totally advice to forget about travel agencies because most of them they are thieves, way too expensive and the result its even worse than any other. The rooms are clean even if not the newest brand of all but that gives a touch of simplicity in a vacation that brings you closer to nature with all the amazing places you find in Sharm El Sheikh especially when diving 🥰 we advice you once arrived before to claim your standard room to check with the reception how much it will cost to have a better room closer to the beach and with better view, with your little private terrace very much comfortable if you are a smoker, there are chances to pay 10$ more per day or 20$ for the best once, a real cheap and worth addition! Beautiful view on the beach you can choose to enjoy the swim close on the beach where the water is low and enjoy the curious and beautiful fishes that swims around you without fear or walk trough a small wooden bridge to swim in deep water close to the corals and so many fishes with your mask to appreciate the Stunning Red Sea underworld 😍 Food was acceptable, but the real speciality in this our second home is the staff personnel ❤️ We really found new friends here, starting from the professionalism at the reception with Ahmed, to the other 2 Ahmed of the lobby bar and the beach bar together with Omar, getting then to Mustafa and Wael Hakim, 2 great lifeguards constantly changing the green/yellow and red flag for the sea current, and then last but not least, our today Sharm el Sheikh best friends “Esmail and Ibrahim”, by my point of view they were really the best you can ever find, every and each day, during and after Ramadan they are always there ready to let you feel great, always smiling and so polite, we got really close with them, they really made us feel home more than anything ☺️ it was sad to say goodbye, but we will surely be back 👏🏼 Well I’m few words to complete, we can say that these great people make the parrotel beach a special place, which I strongly recommend if you search for something quite and special, with soul, not so much if you are very pretentious to spend a super LUXURY VACATION though, nothing against that, I just prefer love to gold. This is what I choose, a place which is the best on a level of beauty, quietness, simplicity and price! And most of all FRIENDLY 😌…
It's a tipical 5 star hotel in Sharm... food is the same also, but if you choose special meal ordered not in the tables but from chefs who prepare fresh hot meals during the dinner (breakfast) it will be tasty. Staff and anymators were very lovely and always tried to make us happy, they were very friendly: Sem, Mustafa especialy many thanks to Ahmed Habib Mando as he is the professional, kind, clever and realy very importent person for the hotel, he makes amazing coctails, always smiles and realy helps to everybody, love them
From start to finish the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us right from the gardening team to higher management always a smile and a friendly greeting We arrived after dinner had finished but were given food and drink We were taken to our room 7157 by golf buggy along with our luggage and my wife's wheelchair While on the subject of wheelchair users we found the whole of the grounds accessible as was the beach and jetty, the only niggling thing was that to access the toucan lounge upstairs we had to go around the main building and enter through reception but it gave my legs a go work out, once there we were well looked after with excellent service from Reda The main restaurant is buffet style with all the usual foods available, my wife who can be a fussy eater never had a problem with finding something to eat Good choice of breads salad vegetables and fruits along with plenty of choice for the dessert course The gardening team never stop keeping them up to a high standard Cleaners always working to ensure cleanliness is maintained Room cleaning was excellent Pool and the area kept very clean The water temperature was a little cold but I found it a welcome relief to cool down The pool towel man was very helpful and like the rest of the staff always greeting with a smile The animation team were always engaging with the guests and children Evening entertainment was the usual animation team stuff with some specials we enjoyed the whirling dervish The staff at the pool bar were always on hand to supply drinks and coffees …
We stayed at the Parrotel beach resort for the last two weeks of April. The hotel and its grounds are beautiful , the gardeners do an amazing job , our room was lovely and kept very clean throughout our stay . The staff here work really hard are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, there was always bread ,pancakes ,freshly made omelettes, fresh pastries & fruit . Lunch and dinner was the same , meat , pasta , salads, soup, hot stews and rices , and plenty of lovely desserts . Snack bar made fresh pizzas to order at lunch , these were great . The beach was kept lovely and tidy and the Barman Ahmed at the beach bar was great and very attentive, We spent all our days at the beach. The pool areas again were kept spotless. The entertainment team work really hard getting people involved in all activities throughout the day . I used the spa and had a scrub, massage package , facial package and hand and feet programme and it was amazing and really good value, all the staff are very attentive , however a special mention must go to Ragada who was lovely ! We did eat out a few nights at the Union Jack bar across the road, they do amazing food over there & If you need a taxi at any time during your holiday please go over to the shops opposite the hotel and use taxi number 320 , he is a lovely guy and would not use any other !…
Joan and I have been staying at the Parrotel Beach Resort for many years and our latest trip in March 2022 was just what the doctor ordered after travel restrictions were lifted. We could not get back quick enough to see all our friends again. Like always our accommodation was first class and our thanks go to Ayman and his staff for all their hard work. As is their custom the food was excellent with a great selection on offer each day. They even put on an "English Sunday Lunch" whilst we were there - going to teach the chefs how to cook "Yorkshire Pudding" next time. Our thanks go also to Semeh and his colleagues at the 'OLIVERIA' restaurant for their meticulous service. Our good friend Mustafa and his team did a great job once again with the pools and recreation, and together with the ground staff the whole complex was in good shape once again. We must not forget all the bar staff also who worked late into the night serving guests, some of whom could be quite demanding. There are so many others to thank so don't take offence is your name does not appear in this review. We will get you next time. Mohammed Ghafar (General Manager) you have a great hotel with great staff around you and you have done a marvellous job since taking up this post. Well done. Best Wishes Allen & Joan Walker P.s. Don't forget the Sunday Roast when Joan and Lauren (Granddaughter) visit again in August. Please note also - If their is something you are unhappy about then tell the staff immediately - don't wait and moan about it. The staff will be more than happy to sort things out. This hotel is great for individuals and families. We have made numerous friends ourselves over the years.…
So the hotel is definitely not a 5star we got an electric shock from lamp at side of bed Pipes burst on roof so we got further upgrades The alcohol will not get you drunk no matter how much you drink -think that’s a plus really 🤣 But the staff are awesome can’t do enough for you always willing to go extra mile Food a bit samey but again union Jack bar down road -within walking distance - they do lovely roast dinner Definitely take aqua shoes as beach a bit sharp there are some soft sandy bits but also lots of coral There are some lovely trips out but definitely get some mossy spray from shop across road called “off” also take hydrocortisone cream just in case but other than that have an awesome time
We had such a great time in this hotel. The rooms are large but the furniture is old. They clean the rooms every day. The food is almost the same everyday, but you could definitely find something to eat. The stuff is very polite, always ready to help you and make you feel good.
Stayed her for 12 nights in April. I would rate the hotel a 3 star at best! Food was awful l, Could barely scrape together a meal. Snack bar was really basic and half the time the chef was not there to do the pizza etc and you had to go looking for him! If your an ice cold beer 🍺 fan then this is definitely not the place for you. No drinks on draft all poured from warm bottles that are left out in the sun, beer nice and warm, totally flat and totally watered down! Lots of people complaining about this! The only positive is the grounds are lovely but if you like to crash by the pool and relax then forget it as music banging most of the day and the same can be said for the beach! Would I stay again .. definitely not!
