Nestled close to the airport with breath-taking sea views, Parrotel Beach Resort has been lauded by many guests for its desirable location and nearby attractions. While the rooms are commended for their cleanliness and size, there are mentions of them being somewhat outdated. Opinions on value for money at the resort are divided, with some guests praising affordability, yet others pointing out extra costs. The resort's amenities, including pristine pools and beach access, generally receive high marks, although a few visitors have noted service inconsistencies. Despite occasional reports of a too-vibrant music scene, the overall atmosphere is considered welcoming, with most guests enjoying the hotel's charm and commending the friendly staff.

I went to Egypt for the first time and stayed the parrotel beach resort with my husband, mother and 4 month old baby. It was my baby’s first holiday. I can honestly say Thai hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The hospitality was just amazing. We stayed in room 1105/1103 for 14 nights. The hotel & staff are just amazing they made our stay memorable. Food was delicious.

I would really like to thank the following people for making our stay wonderful.
Front office manager- Mohammed Hamid.. who allowed me to check out slightly later as my baby was not well. He was just absolutely brilliant & service was number one.

Mr. Saeed Khairy who was every so helpful and smiling always.

Chef Nagy.. who ensured that we enjoyed every meal on the hotel. Outstanding food.

Mr Hesham, who looked after us in the restaurant

Chef - Yasser.. his Italian food was amazing

And too all management in the picture and staff they were just brilliant.

I highly recommend to visit parrotel beach resort when visiting Egypt. They will make your experience amazing

We stayed here for 9 nights. It's the cheapest 5* hotel that I've seen in Agoda so I booked it.

The location is about 5 minutes drive to the airport. The hotel is offering a roundtrip airport transfer for $35.

Rooms are pretty old, to be honest but we have stayed in worse conditions in other countries while paying more. There are just some usual wear and tear in the room but it's still okay for it's price.

Buffet breakfast is good and has lot's of options. We did not bother eating out since the hotel is offering some good varieties of food in room service with a reasonable price point.

The resort is well maintained, no one is really swimming in the pool as the water is freezing cold. I hope they regulate the water temperatures for their pool. I've seen better beaches but the reefs here are recommended by lots of people.

Staff are polite and respectful. Housekeeping asked us everyday if we want our room cleaned but we asked him to do it every other day. There are some people in the beach offering a lot of things, it's a bit annoying especially when you just want some peace and quiet but they still keep being pushy and don't want to leave you alone even when you just said no.

There is one time that we are wearing a mask and a staff in the restaurant asked my boyfriend to take off his mask while he greets him, and his mask was also taken off. That's a bit weird, like we know most of the people are not wearing a mask here, even staff but why would you ask someone to take off their mask when you are standing a feet away from him?

Overall, the whole duration of stay was good. I still recommend staying here.

This is our third visit in the last six months, we love this hotel.

The hotel is lovely, it is on the other side of the road to the beach but you have access to the beach via the Parrotel beach resort, the aqua park has a range of slides and wave pool one heated pool in the winter is lovely. The rooms are very nice with matching decor, nice size and clean. The staff are fantastic which is what makes such a great atmosphere to stay.

Having a baby can sometimes be difficult when staying in a hotel so it’s nice that the staff ensure we have everything we need and it is well suited a nice baby cot for the room not a horrible travel cot which my baby will not go in.

The food and beverage manager Sayed khiery is lovely and makes you feel so welcome and always has a smile on his face. His team team are fantastic and work very hard for things to be smooth running they are still always smiling. The food is lovely and a range of salad, meat and vegetables.

The reception team are very welcoming and always do their best to get a room that suits as my mum is disabled Shady always ensures we have a room suitable for her.

The cleaning team manager is very helpful, always ensures you have what you need for your room and ensures his team are doing a great job which they are!

The place really does not meet the level of a Luxury resort.
It is beautifully designed but the potential is not used. I cant say we didnt enjoy but it certainly didn't meet our expectations.
The hotel is marketed as a luxury hotel but practically it is a low cost club.
This is reflected in the masses of hotel guests, the low level of hygiene, the low variety and quality of food and the poor level of service.
Hotel staff are impatient and give the feeling that they are doing a favor by answering questions or providing information. I noticed they the same staff work from early morning to late evening. In general if you do not ask for something or complain even for the basic service like room cleaning and service and waiters service is not provided.
The only bright spot was the concierge who was nice, patient and welcoming.
The hotel looks beautiful from a distance but really not meticulous in the details and level of maintenance. The grass is not manicured, the wooden railings do need renovation and many corners look neglected.
There are not enough shaded places around and surprisingly the staff keep cutting trees around the hotel.
The level of hygiene is below all criticism. The toilets in the reception and restaurant are dirty and smelly. staff touch the food with bare hands.
The main restaurant gives the feel of a train station or military canteen.
The all-inclusive drinks are cheap and shabby. The "juices" are a combination of water, sugar and food coloring, a single type of unfamiliar beer and poor quality alcohol.
The form of serving and the quality of the food are not appetizing.
Standing in line at the egg stand for breakfast takes over 30 minutes.
The Italian restaurant is a joke. It offers a variety of dishes reminiscent only of Italian food.
The restaurant manager is the only one speaking English, working very hard trying to make the impossible pleasing everyone. Yet, after 2 hours in the restaurant the main course was not yet ready.
The food counters at the pool and sea offer only cheap summer camp food.
Compared to other hotels in Sinai the hotel is a disappointment.

We stayed in a club room, which was kept clean on a daily basis, clean towels and bottled water. The room had tea, coffee making facilities, hairdryer and mini fridge. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, syed ( food and beverage manager) and his team looked after us at meal times, breakfast was my favourite, fresh homemade omelette and fruit. Pool was un swimable unfortunately as it was sooo cold, there was a heated pool (allegedly). Towels available daily at the pool, and the pool bar staff will bring you drinks to the pool side. The beach bar, had snacks available, chef liked to keep people waiting and you had to ask for him to make fresh pizza and chips. We went to the Italian al a carte, it broke the week up , food was average, but again the staff are lovely and friendly. Entertainment was none existent with the animation team doing there best with zero budget. Mosquitoes weren’t an issue for us, We had plug ins in the room, and used jungle spray and none of us were bitten, but many people at the hotel were. We kept our room till 3pm on check out day, some were charged £25 for this but we weren’t. Tip staff at the end of the holiday. Shops in the hotel were useful, and obviously all prices negotiable. The shops opposite the hotel are “exhausting” with the constant haggling. Went once. We would stay at the hotel again, and enjoyed the relaxation.

We booked this hotel because our cruise was cancelled and we loved it! The hotel is facing a reef (access is from a pier) and a small beach which has parasols etc, a volleyball pitch, small football area and places to do yoga etc. There are several pools, indoor and out, gym and massage facilities. From the moment we checked in we felt totally relaxed, we were allocated a suite on the 2nd floor (block 5) with a sea/garden view which although it needed updating was clean and bright with a sizeable balcony, f/s tv, safe, fridge, telephone and plenty wardrobe space. the bathroom was fitted with a stand alone shower, bath with shower over, sink and toilet. The a la carte restaurants (3) were ok (we loved the Italian). the buffet restaurant served a really good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The g&ts were also very good, as was the local lager. The staff were amazing a special mention to the restaurant manager and the reception staff. Well done.

I stayed with my extended family in this hotel for 4 nights, it is simply an amazing experience.
Sea view rooms and suites are so unique, facilities including heated pools are quite nice.
If u have kids and are done with the beach, you will simply cross the street for the Aqua Park in their sister hotel for a small fee.
Animation team refreshing , and an amazing management and staff that go the extra mile to make you comfortable .
With some minor improvements in terms of food variety and taste, this hotel will earn top overall ratings.
Many thanks to Mr.Mohamed Abdelghaffar for his kindness .

Just reflecting on a lovely week in Egypt. Have to agree this resort is not 5 star but a solid 4. Rooms are lovely but in need of a bit of TLC with some tired furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Staff are fabulous and looked after by the restaurant crew especially Shoabad (sorry if misspelt) and both the pool and beach bars have their own Ahmed’s who deserve thanks for their service. Also Ibrahim in the Toucan lounge for keeping us watered in the evenings.
We treated ourselves to massage, hamann, sauna etc whilst here and negotiated a price less than you’d pay in the UK for similar services.
Got chatting to some staff and they admitted that the hotel has had to adapt to the lack of European travellers due to acts of terrorism and then covid. With some staff still yet to return until main season and the likes of the Sheesha Bar not being open at all and the beach and pool bars closed by 5pm this time of year. Food is geared to the Egyptian families that frequent the hotel but as an unfussy Brit I found it lovely and a good selection but became a little familiar after a few days, so if you’re here for over a week you would need to take advantage of the a la carte options or perhaps venture out for a change.
Beach area was well kept, easy to grab a sun bed and chill for the day with sea being warmer than the pools. Excellent for those wanting to do a little snorkelling as jetty was next to beach bar and if you just want a paddle water lovely and clear just a few metres from sunbeds and see small tropical fish close to shore.
Animation team not up to much, experienced much better in Turkey for example and all music and events aimed at little children and nothing on during the day we could see.
On the whole this is a great place for a chilled week as a couple or with friends. Not the drinking 24/7 culture here and bars are all closed by midnight. Egypt itself is on the back of its coldest winter in 20 years so although temps hit 24/25 most days, pools are freezing which was disappointing as nothing better than a book, sunbathe and dip in the pool.
Would stay again without doubt and told by other brits we spoke too the beach resort much better than the aqua park resort opposite, but only at the right price point. Thanks Egypt and Parrotel for a lovely post covid holiday.

Enjoyable and very green resort. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and an amazing see view. Housekeeping staff was very kind and kept the room very clean throughout the stay and even put fresh flowers in the room. A special thanks to Ramadhan, an extremely professional, attentive and kind waiter in the restaurant. The staff is what makes this place, to name a few, the staff at the front office: Reda and Mohamed the FOM were always very helpful, the pool barman Ibrahim, the Chef and barman at the beach were very kind and with great service skills.
There was a good selection of food in the restaurant with different live cooking every day. We really enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday staying at the Parrotel Beach resort.
Hotel is beautifully kept and very clean. The rooms are dated and really need to be refurbished but saying that they were very clean. The resort is large and the grounds are kept extremely well. They were getting ready for xmas so the lights were looking very pretty.
The staff at this hotel were wonderful. Always polite and very friendly. Yosaf who worked the restaurant at the pool bar was amazing to my family ( a group of 9 of us) he really went above and beyond, he made delicious pizza. The guys that run the pool bar were also super nice.
There was always something tasty to eat in the restaurant although could have done with being a little hotter on times. Again the staff at the restaurant were always super helpful and friendly.
I had read the reviews before I went and decided to take reusable glasses with us as all all around the hotel your given small disposable cups which are a real nuisance, bar staff are happy to fill up your own cups. Visited the spa several times and had a few lovely massages which were good value after some negotiation.
All in all we had a fab holiday. The staff definitely make this hotel special.
It is not a 5* but a high 3* but extremely good value for money.
please take drinking glasses (reusable plastic) with you!!
