The best part off all of our holiday was definitely the animation team at coral sea the head animation hazem was lovely and new exactly how to get everyone involved and going! Could never forget my best friend fifty who had me in stitches the whole holiday and took me out with him! The food is also so nice cooked fresh and you could also do tepenyaki where the chefs cook different dishes every night in front off you at the serving stations! The best part is the stone grill restaurant where we had the best beef fillet steak I’ve had in my life it was massive and on the hot stone so could cook it how ever you want it! Best meal I’ve had in a long time!
Vacation was a success! The hotel is small but beautiful. The food is very tasty, the rooms are clean and spacious. Thanks a lot to the staff: Ahmed, Mohamed. Thanks also to the entertainment team. Very funny and nice guys: Hazim, Dasha, Fifty, Vika. On the territory there is a kids club where you can leave your children. In general, we were all happy!
Nice hotel to spend holiday. I was there 6 days and I feel happy! Big swimming pool, Akvapark, many activities for fun. We play dart every day! Life music at night time, recommend for all who like good rest. So friendly staff and animation! Thanks for Holliday!
Wow!! We loved it, came as a family of 3 (out daughter is 11) she loved the slides and the surf machine, in fact we barely saw her all week lol. Food is really good for all inclusive - large amounts of choice, fresh pasta everyday, BBQ nights, large salads, always chips, rice and potatoes. Meat on the grill at dinner included roast beef, roast turkey, roast duck, beef wellington, fresh fish. Paninis on that counter at lunch time. Pizza everyday, chicken nuggets or chicken burger for kids as well as traditional Egyptian foods Drinks are plentiful, tip your pool barmen well and you will never have an empty cup! Ibraham in the lobby bar is brilliant - he will being your drinks out onto the lobby terrace and keep them coming. We all love him! He's such a sweetie Rooms are cleaned daily, had to chase up the odd missing towel but apart from that rooms and hotel are kept spotless. The lifeguards work really hard to keep everyone safe, they are really good with the kids and make a huge fuss of them. The animation team are excellent, they offer great activities all day - we highly recommend the pool party (great for all the family). This hotel is a great hotel the staff work constantly to make your stay the best it can be, the only faults we have are ice cream is only available from the buffet restaurant at lunch time only and the pool bars close early - it feels like a long trek to go to the lobby bar for a drink if you want to relax on your balcony, however we still love it and hope to return next year!!…
I went on my first holiday with my boyfriend here this month. I had a lovely time and wish we could go back again, we didn’t want to leave! The whole resort was clean - our room was cleaned every day too and we got fresh towels! The staff were extremely friendly, funny and helpful - we made good friends with Fifty, Hazem and Darya and they would chat with us, do fun activities and even took us clubbing! (they also let me and my boyfriend do the DJ’ing in the sports bar two nights which was fun) The bar stuff were also very fun to talk to and attentive ( they would bring us over our favourite drinks every time our glass was half empty) The food was delicious and there was lots of variety - there is also room service available 24/7 (we had giant prawns and lobster which was delightful and they put a cake in my room on my birthday) Me and my boyfriend got a free 15 minute couples massage on my birthday and it was so relaxing and a great experience We had a ground floor room that lead straight onto the main pool - this was good as we could go in and out of our room straight from the pool and feel safe leaving our valuables inside while being around the pool (this also meant we could easily grab needed items while chilling by the pool). It was also so lovely sitting on our porch at night looking at the lit up pool The resort is very spacious but everything (the lobby, canteen, bars, snack bars, sports bar, pools, slides, rooms) is within a 2 minute walk which meant we didn’t spend our holiday walking to and from each area within the resort There are good areas for children this includes a playground, small slides, a wave pool, a kids pool with water features and a kid club at night There are also amazing areas for older guests like a range of big slides, a surfing simulator, the main pool, many drink bars, an outside balcony from the main bar which was lovely to sit out on in the evening, the sports bar that holds evening entertainment. The reps go clubbing every night and you can go along with them for around £10 - this gives you entry to the club, a free drink and transport to and from the club (i would definitely recommend doing this) To access the beach you will need to take a short walk over to the sister Coral Sea Hotel and there you are - the beach is very private and there are a range of different areas to sit (there were sun loungers with roofs, seat swings and hammocks). There is a personal Jetty for the hotel that takes a couple of minutes to walk on and you can go swimming in the sea at the end where there is a lifeguard watching (me and my boyfriend loved swimming here and seeing all of the sea life in the clear/clean water) The area surrounding the hotel was amazing with so many shops, food places, bars and excursion places (and a Mcdonald’s and KFC which were out of the world)…
we really enjoyed our family holiday in this hotel. We were a family of 6 with 2 children and grandparents and all of us loved it and had a great time in this hotel . Very good value for money. We all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. every one was genuinely friendly from staff around the pool and the waiters ...... This hotel has a great level of security and is really a safe place. We misplaced our bag and with the help of security cameras we were able to find it. The management is amazing thanks to Mr Islam. And the security team is very professional thanks to Mr Sammy. Food was really great, good variety and plenty vegetarian options too. breakfast was good but could do with minor changes like adding 1-2 new options daily We enjoyed the entertainment. specially when Daria and Kazem came along, it made a huge difference. The walk to the beach was enjoyable but you also could ask for a golf buggy which was easily accessible. Hotel is very clean inside and outside including the pools. The spa was overpriced so we did not use it. Overall a great experience. Many Thank to the amazing team in this hotel.…
Where do I start? Before booking I checked with the resort that they cater for vegan and vegetarian diets and I was reassured they do cater for this. Our incoming flight was slightly delayed so we reached the resort around 9pm. By the time we had checked in etc we were told the dinner buffet was closed and they will send a "cold platter" to our rooms. I reminded them we have 2 adults and 2 children who are vegetarian and 2 adults who are vegan. Around 10.30 I called reception to remind them we are still waiting for food and my 2 children (1 and 3) were extremely hungry and tired. At 11 pm room service arrived with 3 sandwiches stuffed with ham and cheese- I sent it back asking for something suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Around midnight, still no food, and finally at 12.45 we were delivered a plate of cheese and fruit for the vegetarians and a plate of sliced cucumbers and tomatoes for the vegans- no bread, nothing else. We finally settled the kids and realized the cot was broken- 4 screws had come out and there was a huge gap that was flapping around- my baby could have easily got her fingers stuck in there in the middle of the night. Called housekeeping and they said it is late and will send someone the next day! Shocking, as this is such a health and safety risk. We ended up keeping her in the bed as I refused to let her sleep in the cot. Took them 3 days to sort this issue out and eventually they replaced the cot on day 3 Restaurants/Meals Like I said they do not cater at all for vegetarians or vegans. We spoke to the food & beverage manager on our first day and was assured we would be catered for. At lunch that same day there was nothing vegan - the head chef came out and pointed to a pasta bake with chicken and claimed it was vegan! We explained a vegan diet via google translate as he claimed he didn't understand. At dinner, the head chef then pointed to a tuna dish and claimed that was vegan! Absolute joke. We booked both Al La Carte restaurants but didn't go to either as they did not make food for vegans. Also all the food is catered to quite bland/mild taste and no traditional egyption food etc. If you fancy something tasty I recommend walking down to Abu Ali (take a right out of the resort and walk down about 5 minutes) absolutely delicious falafels and super cheap. Paid around 7 GBP and all 4 adults and 2 kids were stuffed! The staff at the live stations are so MISERABLE and make you feel like a nuisance if you ask them to make you something. The chef at the pasta station was completely clueless. He added the sauce and pasta to the pan, then chucked in the raw onions, peppers, tomoates, swirled it around for 10 seconds and served it! Even my 3 year old knows to sautee onions etc before adding in sauce! Staff Bit hit and miss, some staff are absolutely wonderful and others are miserable and rude. But I did notice, uness you tip the staff in advance you will get treated differently to other guests. Which I found rather annoying. We had full intentions to tip, and did tip extremely genourously but I prefer to do it at the end of the stay. And I noticed those who tipped in advance did get preferential treatment which is rather annoying. I guess money talks! Cleanliness / Rooms Definitely not at 4/5star levels. The rooms are extremely outdated, botched cover-up jobs, and falling to pieces. We had a double room and 1 bedroom family room and only two room towels and 2 beach towels provided. Every day we had to ring for more towels as the kids had not been included. This is rather stupid as the family room is for 4 people so I don't get why they just can't give enough towels to begin with. After they also realised we have 4 people in the room they still didn't use their initiative to give us more towels even though we were asking every day! The rooms large, bed is comfy but thats about it. The level of cleanliness and the condition of the room is so poor. In my younger backpacking days I have staying in hostels which have better quality rooms which have been maintained to a higher standard. Pools/Waterpark Enough to keep the family entertained but few small niggles like tiles broken and missing the the swimming pool. My son stepped on a loose cracked tile, wasn't hurt too badly so we didn't make a big fuss over it but kindly just handed over the broken tile pieces to the staff to prevent anyone else injuring themselves Lifts So this was rather annoying as when we were first shows to our rooms they made us climb up 4 flights of stairs claiming there is no lift which is tough carrying two children and a buggy. On day three we found a lift, when we asked someone they said yes there are lifts. We came across another family who were struggling and told them about the lifts (depending where your room is you might need to detour slightly but its better than huffing and puffing over 4 flights of stairs when it is 40 degrees out!) they were so grateful as again, they were told there is no lift access! Complete lie there IS lift access!!!! Entertainment So apparently there is a kids disco every night at 8.30pm. We had NO idea until our 4th night where someone was standing outside the dinner buffet and she told us about it. Kids loved it and a shame we only found out about it with only 2 nights left! Staff around the kids pools are amazing and really get involved with keeping little ones entertained/playing with them etc They even looked after our inflatables so we didn;t have to keep lugging it back and fourth to the bedrooms which was kind of them Snacks Between mealtimes, snacks are awful and left to sit out in the sun (fruit/cheese etc which ends up tasting weird) no ice cream or hot food available in between the 3 meals. Afternoon tea involves a couple of pastries, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese and bread rolls - DIY job!) Ice cream is only available at lunch and is average at best. I could go on and on but I am just so over Coral Sea Aqua Club for ruining our holiday.…
