This was my second visit to rixos sharm and the third for my family. As soon as we stepped off the transfer coach the concierge immediately recognised us and greeted us with a very warm welcome saying welcome home. Check in was very quick and the all inclusive bands are quite stylish, not plastic bands like we've had elsewhere. We were kindly upgraded us to suites which were beautiful, very spacious with a huge bed! Sitting area, double balcony, walk in dressing room, bathroom with his and hers sinks, a separate shower cubicle so it's not in the bath and a big glass window joining onto the bedroom itself. Admittedly the main restaurant 'zodiac' is very busy, lots of birds and you don't get the service you do in the adults restaurant 'Nefertiti' which is located in the main…

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Rixos. We were upgraded to a family room which was a nice touch but did mean we were surrounded by families so was noisy in the mornings (we're not early risers). The extra bedroom was a bit wasted on us but still nice to have plenty of room. The bathroom was large and well equiped but the large walk in shower didn't drain away so you paddled through dirty water to get out of it! I have to say the bed was hard and despite being provided with lots of pillows, neither of us could say we found one or any combination very comfortable. The pool bar service was hit and miss but for such a large area they worked hard. Having said that we never got the cold flannels as they'd always run out when they got to us. I was…

Okay so this review will differ from the rest as its not going to praise the resort about how fabulous it is.... Although its is an excellent resort .....which i cannot deny ........most travellers want to know the bug bears abut resorts... the down sides...the not so excellent 5 star aspects. so here we are Having read the reviews on here before we went its clear to see that Rixos is an outstanding resort with genuine 5 star quality which is a rarity in Sharm. This is indeed true however not all that glitters is gold.... fabulous kids club although if you have an energetic child like mine the staff are young, mostly under 21 and do not know how to handle slightly naughty or energetic children. A friend I met on the resort told me that she found my son crying under the table…

Dear kity524 Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay here with us We appreciate your honest review and we will consider some points in order to improve our service. be assured Rixy Club - your comments have be shared with our Entertainment Manager but please be assured the team members in the Kids Club are all speaking fluent English but maybe when a child is crying even in their native language it can be difficult to understand. All staff in the resort receive free Advanced English, Russian and German Courses. English Language is a necessity before hiring. Thank you for your comments regarding the Dolphin Show - we were unaware of this and will now make a thorough investigation into this matter. Although it is an outside company we like to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable experience. We apologise if the Sales Staff were persistent - the Manager will now be informed regrading the selling technique and in-correct information being provided. We also provide the DND Flags which our guests can display on the sunbed/umbrella to ensure no members of staff approach them. It is unfortunate that you find Egyptians normally can be quite rude and abrupt by nature - as in fact they are the opposite. We are pleased you found our staff friendly but Egyptians in general are very hospitable. The activity pool and water slide pool are heated during the winter months - during the summer months the weather is very hot and the pools tend to be warm enough without heating. We do however monitor the temperatures daily to ensure they are not too cold in particular for children Once again thank you for your comments and we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future Thank you Kelly Walmsley Rixos Hotels

We stayed at the Rixos for a week in May and we felt really disappointed with our stay overall. I'll keep it short and list the good and bad points. Good: The deluxe room was really good. The mini bar was well stocked daily and cleaned to a good standard. The room is plenty big enough and the bathroom a good standard too. Kids Club was excellent and runs a morning session and afternoon session. The buffet in the kids club is good but need to vary the food more. Hotel grounds are amazing and everything spotless and gardens immaculate. Entertainment team try hard and there are plenty of activities if your interested. Bad Points: The service across the entire hotel is nowhere near the standard what we have received in other Sharm hotels. There seemed to be 1 or 2 members…

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback. The attitude of the team that you described is not consistent with our standards, nor our values, but is also very much unlike the genuine Egyptian hospitality that our guests experience on a daily basis. It would have been very helpful if you had reported the incident on the spot, so that we could take action immediately. I still hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back so that you enjoy the friendliness and passion that guests appreciate and come back to. Regards,

Just back from a glorious 7 days at the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the minute you walk through the door you are treated like a king & queen, quite literally nothing is too much hassle for the very attentive staff. The decor is fantastic from the reception area to your fabulous room. I take my hat off to the staff who must work around the clock to make sure that everywhere is kept spotless. There are a number of restaurants, my own personal favourite was the Italian, especially the seafood pasta, quite simply delicious. My biggest regret is the act that I did not go for 2 weeks, but mark my words I will be back. If you want a holiday that you will remember forever and a day, then this is the place for you. I would just like to add that the quality…

My husband and I visited the Rixos for a week from the 9th May. This was our 7th visit to Sharm but first time at the Rixos. We have always had great hotels but this hotel is definitely the best hotel in Sharm that we have visited. Check in was really smooth, we were taken to our room by the bell boy in no time. We had a deluxe room in block 4. The room was really big with great bathroom. The mini bar in the room was great, whatever was used was replenished on a daily basis. Toiletries provided are shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Our balcony looked over the activity pool. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and guest relations delivered a lovely cake to our room. We hadn't informed the hotel of this so they must've noticed it was his birthday…

We had booked into the Seagate but as it now won't open till August we were moved into the Rixos Sharm. Having stayed there last year, we were happy to go back, but disappointed not to go to the Rixos Seagate. Had a fantastic stay, the food was great, most staff fantastic, rooms lovely, large and comfortable and the choice of drinks great too. Many staff recognised us from previous stay which was pretty exceptional. Had a tour of the Seagate, which although will be wonderful, I think we will return here again.

Simply put, this hotel was fantastic in every way. Right from when we (my wife and I) entered to when we left, we were always made to feel that they could not do enough for us. People make everything, and their staff are simply wonderful people who work incredibly hard to ensure you have everything you need. I am one to explore as much as possible, but my wife and I had such an amazing time, that we would strongly consider coming back to Sharm, just to stay here. It really is that amazing.
