Nestled beachfront with scenic views, Rixos Sharm El Sheikh garners accolades for its extensive all-inclusive amenities, including multiple pools, varied dining options, and efficient service, particularly at the beach and pool areas. Guests appreciate the clean, spacious rooms and the convenience of shuttle services to a sister property. While some visitors mention dated room features and noise concerns, the overall mix of tranquil and dynamic environments, coupled with high-quality evening entertainment, contributes to a memorable stay. However, opinions on value for money and service can vary.

This was our 2nd visit to this amazing hotel and will not be our last as we’ve already booked for next year ,
We’ve had a couple of gripes this time around but issues soon sorted once we made them aware

Check in was smooth and fast and we was taken to our room in block 3 which we had asked for ,

Room : spacious clean and a pool view
Air con very noisy , had the engineer out who sorted it but the noise crept back in towards the end
Cleaner was called ibraham , we normally go back to our room around 4pm from sun bathing , and for the first couple days was either cleaning or hadn’t started cleaning yet so you had to stand out on the balcony while he did , very inconvenient when you just want to relax and get out of your pool gear , we had a word with him and he did get it done before our return , we also asked him to spray our room for mozzys which took him two days to do so which ended up in bites on my wife’s back
We had a cleaner called Salah last year and we could not fault him at all what a great guy , ibraham needs to take a leaf from Salah’s book ,

Al a cartes

Indian - first class with amazing flavours , I asked for my meal slightly more spicey and they got it just Perfect , stand out guys in there are the manager who remembered us from last year and mammhood who is just great.

Chinese - we ate here for our wedding anniversary, a perfect meal and great staff , we got the customary song with the banging of the drum and cake . A great night
We also visited a 2nd night and it was even better

Salt - with fish not being the wife’s fav meal , she still found something to eat , we both had the salmon , on our 2nd visit I added the shrimp tagine which worked perfectly, Great restaurant .

Italian - my dish was the seafood spaghetti was amazing , the flavour was just great , unfortunately the wife’s dish was the chicken arrived cold and was sent back , fresh chicken arrived with the same cold veg , not a great night
We didn’t return

Brazilian - Well what can you say about this restaurant ? My best advice is make sure you’re hungry before you go !
Lamb , beef , prawns , chicken, beef kebabs and fresh roasted pineapple all carved in front of you at your table, this restaurant is simply the best in our mind

Turkish : having visited here last year it was prob our least favourite , so we decided to give it another go to see if it could change our minds , and it blew us away one of the best meals we’ve had in our stay , the flavours are amazing , there is a lot of bread though and it does fill you up
And for you towie fans one of the waiters is the double of Arg and he does know lol

Bars :
The beach bar is very busy early evening , there’s a DJ on for a hour and half ,
There’s been a lot said about fake / cheap drinks being served at the hotel this year , this is the bar where we found that it’s true , yes it does go on and the management will tell you they are shocked !! And it will be sorted !
But they do know as this cheap aweful alcohol is getting in the hotel somehow and in large volumes , they can not know it’s going on !!
Someone beat us to complaining on the night it happened to us and to be fare to them it was stopped while we was there !
And regular checks made with guests to make sure everything is ok
So it’s something you need to watch , and complain and front them with it when / if it does
Lobby bar is great , very quiet away from the boom boom music if that’s not your thing with quality drinks

Pools :
We only sit round the oasis pool as it’s quiet and very relaxing ,
The pool guys round here are just the best , Ali is 100% the best guy , you want for nothing a really great lad ,
Your drinks are served by waiters on foot and roller skates , special mention to
Ramos on the skates , josef , and Naughty boy ( Ahmed )

Buggy drivers : these guys are great and with the size of the complex you certainly need them ,
Stand out drivers are , Ali baba what a gentleman he is , such a lovely guy you just fall in love with him ,
Romeo a laugh a minute , certainly lives up to his name , and Ali Dean , great guy

Guest services on what’s app are very good and solve issues quickly

So just a few gripes that we never experienced last year , but like I said when you make them aware they do sort things out for you .

Other guests from other country’s , as per the norm manners are not their strongest point , they can be very rude esp when drunk ! Lots of Russian guests this time and groups of lads amongst others
Il leave that point there but respect others and more the staff who are just amazing and don’t deserve to be abused

Just a tip for some guests , just because you’ve talked to someone one night , well barged your way in really !!!
it doesn’t mean they want to sit and talk to you every night , there’s a fine line between friendly and stalking !!!
Respect peoples wishes and leave them alone

Smoking is a issue in bars and restaurants , some guests have no respect for none smokers , we had to move tables / chairs in bars a few times , please make bars restaurants no smoking ,

As I say we’ve booked again already for next year . It’s a great hotel and if you’re going for a first visit You’ll love it !!

I was in this resort during my holiday in Sharm, we stayed in room 4154, a very spacious family room with many comforts including a very large bathroom with bidet (essential elements for an Italian), a balcony and two separate rooms.
The resort is huge, perhaps the largest I have been to, with many swimming pools, restaurants, spas, beaches, bars and stores of all kinds, the buffet is huge and varied, it is impossible not to find what to eat, the quality is good, with very pretentious Italian classics we had no problems with the food and we also ate the vegetables and fruit without any inconvenience given the fact that here the water used is sterilized and controlled unlike the other resorts which instead use their non-potable water to wash vegetables and fruit. which then makes the tourist feel bad.
The staff is very friendly with a kindness that I have found in very few establishments and unlike the Egyptians we met outside the resort they do not expect any tips which encouraged us to give them on our own initiative and willingly.
Unfortunately, the beach does not have direct access to the sea but you have to go via the pier which was the only flaw during our holiday but the coral reef must be protected and protected and rightly so.
The location of the resort is a little far from Old Sharm and Nama Bay but it is always ventilated which allows you to feel the heat less but at the same time the sea is always rough.
In conclusion, one of the best resorts I have been to and if you want to have a holiday in Sharm in style this resort is the right choice, I will certainly look into future trips to see if there will be a Rixos resort

We celebrated our Honeymoon here for 10 days from April 14th 2024 staying in a Junior Suite, the room location was absolutely perfect and made the stay even more special. All the staff, regardless of where they worked were always polite, so attentive and could not do enough for us. The attention to detail and care for the whole complex was second to none, the groundsmen were out at the crack of dawn every morning, watering grass, trimming trees and hedges, dead heading plants etc, the grounds always looked immaculate.
The same goes for all the lifeguards around all the pools who would be tending to the pool filters, cleaning the pool bottom of leaves, re organising sun loungers, supplying people with towels and umbrellas for shade, even taking away any empty paper cups or bottles from our table as they passed by us while we relaxed.
We spent the largest part of our stay around the lagoon pool and we would like to personally thank all of the lifeguards, pool bar staff and the Chef for making our stay very special with their happy and attentive approach to everyone.
The extensive range of food available was always beautifully presented and always tasted superb, the main Palm buffet restaurant was our main choice but we did, without too much trouble, book and dine at the Turkish, Brazilian, Seafood, Sushi and Italian A La Carte restaurants, all very excellent in their service and the quality of food, thank you.
During our stay we spoke to lots of other couples from the UK who all said that it was the best place that they had ever stayed at and that they would most definitely be returning again. We have tonight booked a return visit to Rixos Sharm El Sheikh Adults Only for April 2025 to celebrate our 1st wedding Anniversary and we cant wait to get back there, To all at Rixos, thank you for making our Honeymoon special and we will see you next year.

Chris & Nicola

My husband and I have just returned from a 7 night stay as our babymoon holiday. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. We had a great room in Block 4 on the ground floor and staff were very accommodating for a late check out ($90 to keep the room until 5pm) due to a late flight. Housekeeping provided a great service every day and kept the mini bar fully stocked as well.

We spent most of the days by the Oasis pool as it was more relaxing for us than the main Lagoon pool and the lifeguards are more than happy to help find you sunbeds and set up the umbrella for you.

We ate in the A La Carte restaurants most evenings (Asian, Indian, Brazilian, Fish and Italian x 2) and it was easy to get reservations for the following day if you go onto the booking system at midnight (there are set numbers of tables available at the sitting times: 6.30pm, 7pm, 8:30pm and 9pm). I’m also a vegetarian and I found no issue with there being suitable food available to eat in all of these restaurants. (I also emailed the hotel in advance to ask to see menus so we could plan where to eat). The buffet was also veggie friendly for breakfast and lunch but was a bit more limited at dinner time (although there is still things to eat and if you get an ‘allergy card’ from reception and show the chefs, they will help you)

A special mention to Ashraf from the Spa for helping us get the best massage package, including a pregnancy massage for me. Also to Aladdin who drives the golf buggies and all of the pool bar staff and lifeguards at the Oasis pool.

We visited Rixos Sharm El Skeikh (adults only) in March 2024 for our Wedding Anniversary. We had a brilliant time and enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again in Nov 24 for my Birthday. I should have posted this ages ago when all the names were fresh in my mind.

Reservations - The Reservation team prior to our arrival were so responsive and helpful, we contacted them to arrange transfers from the airport and a request for our anniversary. They responded within 20 minutes to my email.

Lobby Bar - The team in the lobby bar were all so helpful and when we walked in on our second evening they had the table we had sat in the previous evening ready for us with drinks and snacks placed on the table which was unexpected but very nice.

Pool Bar by block 4 - They all work so hard and I can't imagine how they run around in the middle of Summer, we would grab a coffee by the pool and on the 2nd day when my husband went to order them they had already made them on were heading over to us with them on tray. The lifeguard was also brilliant and so helpful.

Beach Bar - We were served most days by Ahmed who was absolutely brilliant, he certainly kept our glasses topped up and couldn't do enough to help, including getting us seats when the bar was busy and contributing to a hangover one morning.

Restaurants:
Main Buffet was nice, enjoyed eating there although my husband struggled a bit as the queue for eggs could sometimes be quite long. Lots of choice and you can always find something to eat.
Indian - absolutely fantastic, great service, great food and the pakora prawns were delicious. Everything we had we enjoyed.
Brazilian - Lovely meal, lots of choice of different meats, the filet beef literally just melted in your mouth
Italian - Service was a bit slow at the start for water but the food was lovely. We had had lamb chops and steak and the portions were huge. We also had lovely starters but I can't remember what we ordered but no complaints
Turkish- Fabulous - absolutely loved our meal here. It was our wedding anniversary and they went out of there way to make it a special occasion. I believe the manager here was Bassan Hany and he was so helpful not just in this restaurant but several.
Salt - We had lunch here a few times and it was ok. We did eat here one evening as the fish restaurant but we were both a little disappointed. Bread on table was so hard you couldn't chew it, service was sporadic (evening only).

Room - we stayed in block 4 and were looked after by Mustafa, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room spotless everyday and he would check if we needed extra towels or toiletries.

Entertainment - We found this a bit lacking, DJ sets which seemed to be repeated and also stopped early. We sat in the lobby bar which could do with a little music in the evenings. Such a lovely room and always quite empty which is a shame.
Hope our visit next month is as good as our one in March !

Second holiday in this hotel, and again everything is great, and do not want to leave, and will definitely come here again, and recommend it without a shadow of doubt to all friends and acquaintances.

Absolutely everything is at the highest level - service, staff, cleanliness in the grounds and rooms, parties, discotheques, meals (dined only in ala-cards, and here you can sign up for the nearby Rixos Premium Seagate, and there are also good restaurants, different from Rixos Sharm restaurants), etc. until infinity.

This time lived in 15103 Senior Suite, last time was 8001 Junior Suite. Although the Senior Suite is considered a higher category room (it is a two-bedroom with two bathrooms), I personally liked the Junior Suite better (one room, with one bathroom, but very large, with a dressing room and a chic panoramic window in the bathroom). Loved the fact that your room is always cleaned by the same employee. We had Amir Gad working for us - very well done, very positive and responsible comrade.

I also really liked the French restaurant at Seagate - there we were just carried in our arms by a Binay waiter, and everything was insanely delicious, and a very authentic French atmosphere with a French chanson, etc. (we were in France in different places, and familiar with it well - transmitted excellently, even surprisingly).

At the reception I will mention the beautiful guys Mahmoud and Mina who can solve absolutely any issue instantly.

After a holiday in this hotel it is very difficult to rest somewhere else - involuntarily compare, and the comparison is not in favor of others ) After the Rixos went to the sold-out Meraki Resort Sharm El Sheikh - well just disappointment, in the sweepstakes Rixos does not fit. I'll write a separate review of it.

Rixos only one wish - swap these old plastic sunbeds for something more modern, they are really outdated and do not correspond to the overall undoubtedly high level of the hotel.

We chose the Rixos in Sharm for our second stop on our honeymoon and we were fascinated. Once we arrived in room 16202, immense and clean, we found the writing on the bed with HAPPY HONEY MOON leaves and a sweet in the shape of from the heart to be enjoyed. We spent 7 days without worries, an all-inclusive package with all the trimmings, bars, restaurants, eating, drinking, everything included. From one place to another we moved with the mini bus, doing the continuous tour one after the other. Everything was beautifully kept, we were regular customers of the swimming pool in front of the restaurants, the quietest and most well-kept, the lifeguard didn't stop for a second to polish it. The restaurants were very good, the Palm with a rich, but what can I say, an immense Buffet of various tastes and countries, the waiters always ready to serve you, the manager Ahmed prepared and friendly with us and all the diners. We have tried other restaurants and they are all more or less normal. The sea is unfortunately rich in corals, so for the bathroom you had to cross the wooden Passarella and dive into the immense blue coral sea of Sharm. Every evening different and very engaging shows, and in the afternoon music with DJs and dancers to entertain our aperitif overlooking the sea. Located 20 minutes from old Sharm, excursions various. If I return to Sharm,Rixos is insured.Thank you for making our honeymoon special.

The first wish when checking into this hotel , was to change to another hotel.
-
1. An old hotel that requires renovation. Rooms , sunbeds by pools and sea , furniture in public areas , lounge area . The mattress in the room was so old that it was impossible to sleep on it, needed to be replaced. Toiletries are only available upon request. The smell of mold in the room doesn't wear off. Air conditioning noisy(broken once).

2.Meals in the main restaurant . Very scarce and repetitive selection of dishes on the Swedish line , practically no fish , seafood , few kinds of meat dishes . In 10 days, the same grilled menu (chicken barbecue, quail, beef kebab). The food at the main restaurant of the nearby Rixos seagate is much more varied.
A large number of birds on the terrace of the main restaurant that sit in plates if you step away from the table. All the chairs are stained with droppings.
3. The bars are all old, uncomfortable, weakly clean, dirty glass, dirty appliances.
4. Only one of the heated pools and bar there is clearly overloaded, lacking staff, waiters, bartenders.
5. Two scenes for the evening show , one of them is located next to a lot of rooms , which is impossible to live in, at 23:30 music rumbles so that you can hear on the beach.
6. Restaurants : Italian , fish . Not delicious at all
+
1. Hassan's accommodation manager was very hospitable.
2. Our comments were swiftly responded to.
3 . Large, well maintained area
4. Electric cars run constantly inside the hotel.
5. Great animation.
6. Restaurants : Brazilian , Japanese , Turkish , mangal is very delicious , especially in Turkish.
We were often at Rixos hotels and always our impressions were positive, especially we enjoyed at Rixos Magawish in Hurghada. Just heaven and earth compared to this hotel. The most important thing to do is to renovate ,to recruit additional staff and to monitor cleanliness is directly critical.

Beautiful resort, very clean and very hospitable. It was possible to have maximum comfort during our honeymoon, often finding small themed features in the room. The rooms have always been very clean and tidy thanks to Yosef available for every need, we always found water even to brush our teeth with. Special glass. As far as cleaning is concerned, great care is also taken in all the common areas, with attention even to the little things (such as the light bulbs in the avenue, deckchairs disinfected despite the towels made available). It was possible to taste every type of food, although obviously Egyptian cuisine is very good, we also noticed extreme controls both on cleanliness and on food with continuous checks. There are countless à la carte restaurants and overall they are all good although the best are the Mengal (where you can eat grilled meat cooked freshly by a dedicated chef) and the seaside restaurant for snacks open all day where Kamel he was truly very helpful and attentive to every type of request. We often used the SPA which, despite being small, is functional with very attentive staff, we also had a couple's message in which the masseuses were really attentive to everything and both were very well trained. It is also possible to drink cocktails with Italian alcohol and we had no problems with ice or with the stomach in general. Overall, all the staff, from the cleaners to the manager, were really very kind and attentive to every need and request made. Surely if we were to return to Sharm or another country where there is a Rixos chain we will choose this one.

Had another fabulous holiday at this hotel.
On arrival we were welcomed by Amr who checked us in and then contacted us most days to ensure all was well. He is an amazing young man and helped make our holiday special.
Prior to arrival I had requested a room on ground floor in Block 4, so was very happy we were allocated room 4012, which was looked after really well by Mohammed Ali. He surprised us on several days with beautiful towel art, we had little chats with him most days, such a lovely guy who did a great job every day.
The Palm buffet and all A La Carte restaurants were fantastic, great menus and staff who were efficient and friendly, they remembered us and our preferences from previous visits which was amazing!! Thanks to the supervisor Mohammed and his team especially Mohammed Raafat, Ehab & Shimaa Abdo.
Oasis swimming pool was heated which was great. The pool and terrace were looked after very well. The bar staff and waiters regularly check to see if you wanted any drinks and often brought water.
The beach bar staff Botrs, Elsayed Ahmed, Basma and Nemr etc were friendly and very efficient. The Lobby bar lacked atmosphere, it would be nice to have some background music in the evenings. X lounge and Sports bar were also good during the shows with all bar staff and waiters especially Abdul Elatif, Ramos, Michelle & Norhan Reda, working very hard whilst still being friendly.
Evening shows were good as were the bands afterwards. It’s a shame that the DJs still all play the same style of music every beach party and every night, it would be great to have a variety of genre.
The buggy drivers are brilliant, especially “Romeo” and “Max” Suliman, always friendly and checking to see if you need a lift when they pass you along their routes.
The resort and gardens are kept immaculate by all the maintenance and gardening staff. The Christmas decorations were beautiful.
All the staff that we met were so genuinely friendly and work so hard to ensure you have a great holiday. If you need anything just ask and they will try to help out.
A special thanks to Amr.
I’m sure I’ve missed some names but you are all a real asset to the hotel, thank you.
