Rehana Royal Beach Resort Aquapark & Spa receives mixed feedback from guests. The hotel's prime location is consistently praised for its easy access to local attractions and its scenic beach and pool, yet the rooms often fall short of expectations, being described as poorly maintained and outdated. While some guests appreciate the attentive staff, others recount experiences of unprofessional service. The resort's ambiance and amenities enjoy some positive remarks, but the value is frequently questioned due to service and food quality issues.

Nice rooms for their price, the food is monotonous but delicious, two bars on the beach, which is not bad.The room is cleaned every day, we were given a room with a sea view completely free of charge. My wife and I liked it all. I recommend it!

Arrived late evening. There was a bar open with music that loud it would awaken passengers from their slumber on overhead flights. You will not get drunk here. Glasses are disposable plastic. More like a shot glass than a pint. The beer is alright, the spirits are shocking, unless you are stripping paint.

At the Pool Bar and the Beach Bar, same deafening music and disposable shot glass rules apply. Music is 80s ballads on an incredibly small loop. Thumbs up to Fathy & his little mate at the pool bar.

Meals at the dining room catered more for the Russian guests than Western. Best meal choices are from the balcony chefs, awesome kebabs. Shout out to Hoosan in the dining room, great service.

The lobby bar is more civilised with glass rather than plastic and no deafening din. Hanna was a great host. Sometimes the TV showed Premier League.

Bedroom was large but dated. There was no double bed, no hot water, sheets had seen better days, but a clean room courtesy of cleaner Mo.

Take $US or Sterling, nobody wants £Egytian, not even State run shops (top-tip, DO NOT go on the "free" city tour).

The Salesmen around the complex are relentless, like locusts, selling spas, trips, massages, haircuts, facials and even sand, although "Sandman" was great! Be firm as they are not put off with a no.

Nevertheless, had a good break in the sunshine hence 4 overall. Would I return? Unlikely. In short, 5* grounds, 3* bedroom, 3* food, 1* spirits and measures, 5* staff.

I want to stand up for the hotel. Just got back from there. The hotel is really a little rested, Noah is used to all hotels in Egypt, if you choose cheaper. Surprised by people's reactions. People consciously choose the cheapest top five and resent why tramps are old or not. You have to buy Rixos for that, but the price is very different.
Hotel advantages:
The area is huge, beautiful, well maintained, flowers, trees, fountains
So many aquazones for all tastes, both quiet for relaxation and noisy with slides
The entrance to the sea is partially cleared, for children and non-swimming aunts it is a virtue, I have been to Sharm 9 times, believe me, it is not everywhere, there are hotels where you can only get into the water from the pier;
Food in bulk. Vegetables, fruits, meat, everything. You can take the meat yourself, which is also a plus, I've been to hotels where the chefs put the meat themselves - with a teaspoon
Reading the reviews, I brought spoons, forks, glasses. Never needed one. Always available;
The animation is luxurious, though I'm not an amateur;
Toppers, yes, old ones. But you don't need a thousand stomps to relax! I looked out for areas where tramps are ok, that's where I hung out. There's plenty of space, no need to take it at five in the morning.
Anyway, my vacation was more than successful. I wish you all: don't screw around, relax and rest!
Get out of the hotel, walk just a little bit, 5 minutes to the right, the shopping area where everything is much cheaper than the hotel.

At 17:00 it is already starting to get dark in Sharm el-Sheikh, and at 18:00 it is already dark)))
Accordingly, life in the city and in the hotel begins early at 05:00 in the morning.
The hotel is very large, multi-tiered, with well-kept grounds, swimming pools and water slides.
Many buildings and other buildings. The hotel is not new, it needs some cosmetic renovation of both buildings and rooms.
The food is varied, there is beef, chicken, fish, 2 times a week there were seafood (squid, crabs). But there is a serious drawback: in Egypt, unfortunately, they don’t know how to cook. All of the above are either very dry or very fried. Sausage and cheese are the same name))) probably made from paper. There are a lot of desserts, but they are the same type and also not tasty. It’s better to buy mangoes, they are sold absolutely everywhere - 1 kg - $1 - very tasty, sweet, aromatic and healthy.
Tea and coffee are also not tasty - something like Lipton and instant Nescafe...
The SPA is paid, the level is so-so, you also have to bargain...

Tips: in the rooms you need adapters for sockets for phones, tees, mosquito repellent (more, because mosquitoes are very aggressive), take a fumigator for your room, and body spray against mosquitoes, otherwise they will bite you in an instant...
If you drink alcohol, it’s better to take it with you too, because... alcohol quality is terrible...

Conclusion: the most important thing to expect from the trip is the pleasure of the warm sun and sea in December, a beautiful reef and fish that you will never see anywhere else in the world (the trip to the reef was taken separately)
The hotel is located in the windiest area of the city.

You can get impressions of the color of the city in the evening in the old city, here is the El Sahaba Mosque - beautiful photos and not far away is the Farsha cafe - an Instagram location, also beautiful photos. And definitely Soho Square - you can buy souvenirs and sweets beautifully and profitably.

I never write reviews, but I couldn’t resist here. And there is something to compare with from Egypt. We stayed in different hotels with my family, twice every year.
So, the hotel is not 5 stars at all. The ultra all-inclusive system, I don’t even understand what’s included, other than irritation from the hotel.
First, any drink, be it alcohol (draft beer, cocktails, etc.), water is poured into 200g glasses. Regular disposable cups. So they pour no more than two glasses per person. My wife and I went to the store. We paid $5 for 3 plastic glasses, almost half a liter. Everything seemed okay, they started pouring it into our glasses, through gritted teeth. Two days have passed, adventures begin, one wants to pour, the other doesn’t. And go around the whole territory begging for someone to give you a drink for your money!!! Idiocy in general. You definitely need to come with your own dishes. Local alcohol, as always, is nothing to write home about. There are no juices in the bar, if you want fresh orange, be prepared to pay $1. About the food. You won't leave hungry, but you won't be left hungry either. Yes, they cook different meats on the grill, and even then they give it in portions, no more than two small pieces, or even one, they say, come when you eat it. Regarding the ultra included, I remembered that in the rooms there were three bags of tea and sugar, and then they were placed on a dirty tray, water and that was all. For a family of 2 adults, 2 children, they put 3 tubes of shampoo and that’s all, and so on every day of cleaning, and then if he sees a tube, it doesn’t matter, it’s full empty, they don’t put a new one in, then go and look for it. The only positive thing I can say is. Hot water in the rooms, and the fact that the area is clean. I can’t highlight anything else. Literally 2 of the staff are normal, the rest are rude and answer something else.
Something like this! Oh yes.
If you are vacationing in December, bring a fumigator with you!
We rested from 12/27/23 to 01/3/24

In short:
1. The hotel is very tired, everything was done beautifully from the beginning, but apparently nothing has been touched up, touched up or changed in the last 10 years. They only take good care of green spaces...
2. The rooms are large, but very dirty. Well, at least once a month you need to do general cleaning. Very dirty!
Issues with towels, linen, pillows, iron, shampoos, water are resolved for $1 directly with the cleaners... we did that...
3. Everyone is housed in the furthest buildings from the sea (5,6,7). Do you want it closer, if the official fee is: 18 dollars/day.
4. The pools are clean, a caretaker is assigned to each pool to ensure safety on the water. Sun loungers and umbrellas are full of holes.
5. Many people write for beer, the issue is also resolved for 1 dollar)
6. Animation guys are just fire. There are shows every day. There is also entertainment throughout the day. During 9 days, the hotel invited external artists 2 times: a belly dancer and a magician.
7. Food, to be honest, not very good. It seems like meat and chicken and fish.. but everything is very monotonous.. and not always tasty.. there is practically no fruit...
9. Alya_kar restaurants - don’t waste your time)))
10. The location is good, go to the right of the hotel and there will be a lot of shops and places to walk.. or take a taxi for 5 dollars to the left, to Soho.. about 10 minutes...

I have rated this hotel 3 stars at best. We were a family of 3, 2 adults and our 16 year old daughter.

We booked this holiday based on the trip advisor 4.5 rating. How disappointed were we!

Pros
Lovely large rooms, with a fridge, comfy beds (3 singles) .2 heated pools, which you definitely need if visiting in feb. Beautiful beach with fantastic snorkeling in the shallows or off the jetty. Food in alacarte restaurants were very good. All staff were friendly. Grounds were amaculate, no rubbish and clean.

Cons
Hotel is 3 star max and is very dated. The main eating area isn't very good. Food cold, people just pushing in and grabbing stuff. Breakfast was probably the worst meal of all with regards to choice.

All Inclusive drinks were oķ but they came in tiny plastic cups that give you 2/3 sips. This was both pool bar and main bar areas. Entertainment team really tried, but everything was not in English and they struggled to translate anything to us.

The shower in our room was very old and just ran cold. We complained to reception and was told to run it for atleast 15 mins before it goes warm. We did this and nothing...... they really weren't interested in helping us. You can only get free WiFi in the reception area. We opted for 7 days at $10 per device.

Overall, we were extremely lucky with the weather being 24/25°c each day with a beautiful location. We were the only English people in the hotel with the rest being mainly Russian. The occupancy was probably on 30% full. I could imagine it being extremely busy at peak times. I would definitely return to sharm again, just not this hotel.

The worst vacation I've ever had: From the outside the hotel is normal, the sea is chic, but there is always BUT. They took us a long time, first they put us near a public toilet, the smell is terrible even in the room. Room shot in the junk, dirty. At the same time, the hotel is 5 stars. They asked for a change of number, gave another only after they raised the hi (probably at first expected us to pay for a change of number). They gave another one, a little better, but at least it didn't smell. The room is dirty as usual. Came to sort of clean up. Shower in terrible condition, dirt, hair from previous tenants (cleaned up before we left). The bed didn't change, they asked me to change the towels once, changed it to dirtier. Clean laundry is brought in by a car, they throw it to the ground and they start folding it up, throwing it with their feet, it's horrible. The dining room does not have air conditioning, nor does the room (every day they fixed it). The food is sour, the dishes are dirty (it's not even nice to take hands), wet wipes were taken with us and wiped. The food is not delicious, the grilled fish meats were constantly burned. And it's not all inclusive. No animation. In our room, a cosmetic mirror fell (through no fault of ours), before we left they told us to pay $60 for it, we were shocked by it. Took a long time to figure it out, fought, ended up paying $25. If you don't want to ruin your vacation, don't choose this hotel.

We've been vacationing with a friend since 29.11.2024. 10 days.
Pros. Big territory. Good animation and disco.
The food is not bad: fish, meat, duck or chicken, vegetables, fruit, sweets... everything was enough, in any case you don't eat like that at home, but there was practically no greenery except dill and parsley. At night, there's nothing to eat in the restaurant after 12 noon.
Numbers for three. Very bad light in the rooms, we complained, changed the lamps, but that didn't change the situation. We had towels changed every day, which made us happy.
A separate topic - alcohol!!!! If you do choose this hotel, bring it with you for the entire stay if possible. There's only beer for the first half hour after the bar opens. When it's there, it's poured into a matchbox-sized glass, 50 grams maximum. You don't get a few drinks in one hand... but you can buy it even when the bartender says you're out of beer. And this situation on all bars - from the beach to the reception. There is no wine, can be poured if you very, very ask and smile significantly... (for girls).
Hard alcohol totally sucks, there's water that only smells a little bit like whiskey or rum, then it's all diluted with coke or a sprite, so it totally sucks!!!! Tipping only helps one undiluted drink, you come up next time, you pour those slags again. Many tourists went to the store and bought liquor there.
Either way, it's the sea and the sun that count, and they've made me happy. On our beach almost every day there was a yellow flag, swimming, sunbathing and relaxing no matter what.
I'll be back in Egypt, but definitely not in this hotel.

If you're counting on the sea and snorkelling, you're clearly not here. The 10x10 pontoon bathing area doesn't open until after lunch and people there are like buses at rush hour. The fish are invisible, but the legs and swimming trunks of the hotel guests are visible in abundance. The evening disco takes place in the centre of the hotel, there is no escape from the noise. The density of the buildings is like a bedroom community. Food as in all hotels in Egypt: meat, fish, chicken, fruit desserts, salads every day for breakfast lunch and dinner - delicious in principle and fresh like, but standard stomach upset on the second you will be provided. Drinks are disgusting, whisky smells like cologne. The hotel grounds are well maintained, the rooms are appropriate for the age of the hotel - moderately killed, it is better to immediately see everything at check-in (air conditioning, availability of water in the tap, refrigerator, safe, etc.). Cleaning daily, linen changed four times in eight nights. Plus the hotel - lots of children's pools and the sea is such that it's extremely difficult to drown there - the big coastline is about 50 meters deep and at low tide the water is knee-deep there - that's what your whole sea will be. The experience is mixed - value for money. Sunbathing by the pool is fine, but not for swimmers.
