This hotel is clean and well appointed. The room we were in was a bit on the small side not much room for luggage. But the breakfast is hearty and the people running it are friendly and kind. Decent value all round.

I stayed at the Acoma with my family for three nights. The rooms were great value for the price, very comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Clean, tastefully decorated in a touch of American Southwest motif. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I speak Spanish so I don't know how it would be for somebody who does not. Short...

Our stay at Hotel Acoma was excellent! The location is perfect for exploring the markets and other sites in town. We walked to dinner every night. The staff is exceptional and the breakfast efficiently served, satisfying and delicious. I always travel/sleep with ear plugs in cities - and my travel-mates tell me that there was dog-barking and people celebrating noise...

Maybe some of the rooms are fine, but I was given a room next to the reception, kitchen, fireplace area. All noise in this area goes right through the walls into the room. At 11pm when a staff member lit a fire in the fireplace AND I could distinctly hear the sound of newspaper being crumbled, I knew there would...

We booked this hotel on booking.com . It had gotten a 9 out of 10 and was priced as if was a hostal. When we arrived we were so pleased with the staff, the cleanliness of the room , the comfortable beds and the location. I give this hotel a 10 overall . Hugo Chavez supposedly stayed there and I'm...

Going anywhere by motorized transport in Quito on a Friday is a traffic nightmare. It took over an hour by taxi to go a few miles to the Ofelia bus station from downtown Quito. Ofelia is where you get the bus for Otavalo. We stood in line with hundreds of other people for 1 1/2 hrs. for a bus before...

We have stayed in several different reasonably priced hotels in Otavalo in the past so tried something new. This was a welcome experience. Full breakfast included in the price. The service was great and always attentive. This place is quiet and restful. It is only 1 1/2 blocks from the Otavalan Market. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We were...

Hotel Acoma is very well located in Otavalo, and only a couple of minutes walk from most places that you want to be. The Plaza de Poncho is just down the road, as is the Shanondoa Pie Shop, and a plethora of eateries and markets. Taxi drivers will charge you about $1 or $1.50 from the central bus station, or...

We recently spent a week at this hotel. It is on a quiet street just 3 blocks from the market. We were given a wide range of room choices and a 10% discount. The room was bright and airy, the view was ideal, and the service was superb. The full breakfast was delicious. Overall much nicer and better located than...
