Very busy lobby , quite crowded most of the time, so it means a great demand this hotel experience with customers from all over the world.
The room experience was average mostly because of my choice and the price my company was willing to pay for my sojourn.
Even so, the room was clean, sufficiently spacious and decently decorated. I'm sure there are much better rooms in the hotel provided you or your employer accept to pay a little bit more.
Somewhat awkward was the location of the dining facility that seemed to be in a different building opposite to the lobby after crossing a kind of shopping-centre aisle. Crew was helpful, kind and very professional. Breakfast featuring a wide range of different specialities and products

We came here for work so we spent most of the time in the hotel. Located near the iguana park which offers an amazing view of the cathedral. The hotel is sparkling clean and spacious. The high-speed wifi allows both of us to work in the room without any issue. The staff is very attentive, daily housekeeping is nice. The breakfast buffet is amazing with plenty of options to choose from, we ended up skipping the lunch since the breakfast is very fulfilling. Carol and Karla are very professional and friendly. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks while I was visiting Guayaquil. Erika, Ximena, Nathaly, Daniella, and Kerly at the front desk staff were always helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed including coordinating an onsite COVID test for half the price of the lab that I went to before. One night when my friend's stomach hurt, the concierge even walked with us to a local store to get some medicine.
Next, the included breakfast for this price is an amazing value. It is a buffet of local foods, fruits, and pastries. The food was excellent and would cost $12-15 at other hotels (I wont mention the name for other radsons.)
Finally, there is a beautiful view of Catedral Católica Metropolitana de Guayaquil and Parque Seminario (Iguana Park). The rooms themselves were always nice and clean thanks to the always smiling and helpful staff as well. (Thanks Alexander!)
Overall, a very positive experience. I will return anytime I find myself in Guayaquil.

I enjoy the three day stay in the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs if it was technical or room services. The camarera Genesis Cevallos would daily make my bed new sheets and towl and ask if I need laundry to be done, shes very friendly and polite. I highly recommend the stay.

We stayed here for just 1 night and found this a good Hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom was great. The breakfast was fantastic, a really good selection. The only complaint we had was the walls seemed thin between the rooms as we could hear everything from the room next to ours. We called reception to complain and they called the room and asked them to keep the noise down and from then on it was totally quiet.

This is a very nice hotel for the price. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location right on the main square and two blocks from the Malecon makes it a perfect place to stay for business or pleasure.

I've stayed here a couple times before, a few years ago. And I loved it and recommended it. But this week's stay? It's a hotel in trouble. I'm so sorry. The staff tried very hard, and they are nice and very helpful. But the company isn't supporting them. An employee walked us to our room (it was hard to find) and the door keys didn't work. We waited in an overheated hallway for her to return, and the "new" keys didn't work. She ran back to the desk and returned with a manager, and finally we got in. The noise in the room was off the charts, there was a huge family packed into a room next to us and we could hear them from the time they went to bed (11pm) and from the time they got up (6am) as if they were in our room. The garage next door sounded a loud alarm every time the gate opened starting at 7am. The ceiling smoke detector flashed a very bright green light every 4 seconds (I timed it) all night. There was a live cricket in our bathroom (10th floor) when we checked in and a toothpick on the nightstand (ewwww). There was only a single (one) chair in our large room, where is the other person supposed to sit? The bartender, when we could find her, wouldn't honor our welcome drink tickets for anything but a glass of wine (beer would be cheaper, that's what I wanted). And the electronic safe failed, locking my stuff inside and I had to get a maintenance team to unlock it. This hotel is fading, not the value it once was. There are better options at this price range. I'm very sad to write this. (The breakfast is great and had great service)

This is a wonderful hotel and we had an exceptional experience - and we stayed with them for two weeks. I'm not sure what the problem is but all the staff were delightful and went out of their way to help with anything we needed.
Just do your research and stick to the more populated areas. Take taxis when possible and have your hotel call for them. Stayed at the Unipark hotel and it's a very safe property with people always watching the door. They will call a taxi for you if needed. Make sure your bags are secure and don't flash money or other valuables.

We had transport arranged by our travel company so did not need to use the hotel's services, but would say they are not very helpful over most things. Taxi would be ok from the airport - it is not far. You can book a return through the hotel once you are there.
