Antonia, a server during breakfast was friendly, attentive and patient. We enjoyed speaking to her and she was very helpful. Her service was excellent and exemplary. Breakfast buffet should offer hand sanitizer and make sure all serving utensils are available because people were using their hands. Sneeze guards should also be used. Bathrooms were dirty and sheets had a strange smell. Noise comes in from generators from courtyard and neighboring suite. Needs more bellhop to be ready to assist with luggage.

Excellent hotel, located in the heart of Guayaquil, opposite Seminary Park (better known as Iguanas Park), and the beautiful Cathedral of Guayaquil. A hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms, high speed wifi, very comfortable beds, perfect cleaning, very complete breakfast and the most distinguished is the attention and friendliness of all its staff that make the guest feel very comfortable, especially Mr. Edison whose sympathy stands out!!!

Their Signature rooms have the best view, directly to the Iguanas park. Since I had to work part of my stay, my room had a table and a very comfortable office chair that I used. The staff made sure I felt comfortable during my stay.

This is a wonderful hotel and we had an exceptional experience - and we stayed with them for two weeks. I'm not sure what the problem is but all the staff were delightful and went out of their way to help with anything we needed.
Just do your research and stick to the more populated areas. Take taxis when possible and have your hotel call for them. Stayed at the Unipark hotel and it's a very safe property with people always watching the door. They will call a taxi for you if needed. Make sure your bags are secure and don't flash money or other valuables.
