Detailed Reviews
We had an early flight out of Guayaquil and decided to stay the night close to the airport. Air Suites Hotel was a good choice. Not a fancy place but nice and clean. The transport to the airport was efficient and friendly. English was spoken by most of the staff. The location was perhaps a little difficult to find it being on a side street.

Being that its so close to the airport is probably the only good thing about this place. Area seems very sketchy, dont expect much sleep here due to the constant traffic honking and dogs barking across the street. At around midnight, the front staff was watching a game on TV and being extremely loud, cheering etc. They should realize they work in a hotel with weary travellers who need sleep. We also almost missed our flight because the front desk staff "forgot" to call our taxi when we requested it. They said it would be there at 10, we went downstairs at 9:45 and waited until 10:30, asked the front desk staff AGAIN to call the cab, only then did they actually make the call. Its interesting listening to what they say about you when they think you dont speak spanish.

We recently stayed here for one night to accompany a friend, as she was leaving for the states. The room is very average, and not a very good value. The cost is nearly the cost of Howard Johnson, and or Unipark, which are by far better hotels. We had to pay $15 for van service to the airport, while the aforementioned hotels provide free service. We only had a few hours to sleep before having to wake at 2:30 to get to the airport, but the 3 barking dogs in the yard, directly across the street from the hotel, made sleeping nearly impossible. The hotel could use a facelift. The breakfast, which is included was a slice of cheese, a ham type meat, a bit of scrambled eggs (if it was one egg, it had to be a very very small egg indeed) coffee or tea and a glass of very nice raspberry juice. I would only stay here again if I had no other option.

Price-wise, this hotel provided decent value in the 'budget' category. They were also willing to rent me a room where I could sleep during the day while having an extended layover.
As with many budget hotels, walls were thin, outside noises could be heard, and service was a little inconsistent. Breakfast was included and was decent!
I recommend taking a taxi here from the airport as opposed to using the hotel's pre-arranged service. It can be reached within 3 to 5 minutes for around 5 dollars one-way.
The facility appeared clean as did the hotel room. If you are not a light sleeper and are only looking for clean, basic accommodation near the airport, this hotel will suit you just fine.

We had a 30 hour layover on our way to the Galapagos Islands, so this hotel is very handy for the airport. We got collected from the airport and returned back the next day. I would say the room was ok, a little noisy but we were so tired it didn't matter. We managed to purchase a beer and a water from the little shop next to the reception. We had a little walk about the following morning, but there seemed nothing special in the area, or maybe we didn;t walk far enough due to lack of time A little shop down the road provided everything we needed at great prices. I would say this hotel is great for an overnight stay only, very basic. Breakfast was basic and very male dominated as was the reception.

Good for one night if you have a flight!
It's close to the airport, but very very far away from everything! Only one restaurant is near, so you don't even have a choice where to go. The room was very clean and the wifi was kind ok.

It's really nothing special, I would just go to it if I'm in transit (like I actually did). Breakfast is not the best but rooms are ok. The staff was helpful enough but not very knowing. There's not much to do around. A taxi to the hotel from the airport should cost you us$5, not more.

This rather strange hotel located near the Guayaquil airport isn't bad really, just not a fancy hotel stop like many of the branded hotels also close to the airport. For a $5.00 taxi ride, you can get to almost any hotel in the area where you'll be much happier. Some of the hotels located downtown near the Malacon are legions better, though a bit more expensive too. This hotel is actually within walking distance if you are so inclined, though at night, walking the 10 blocks pulling your luggage isn't really a great idea. The hotel has adequate beds and sparse rooms with locks that usually work. My room certainly didn't look like the hotel pictures. The breakfast is only fair, with no options, and not a lot of food. We were served eggs, one slice of thin toast, juice, and coffee. I'd probably not go back unless I was really desperate, but spend another $20 on a better room. On the other hand, I didn't die, so there is that.

The room was "clean-ish". The beds were actually quite comfortable. Taxi service in hotel was more than adequate- had a couple folks on call. Internet worked great for us we were on the 1st floor right above the desk, though. TV would not work, phone would not work (but who doesn't have a cell phone). It was inconvienient not to be able to call the desk.
We told 2 different desk clerks that the phone and tv were "no funcional" and one actually said he would send someone up right away. No one came.
Internet says english is spoken....uhhhh no.... The day clerk stumbled through it but the night clerk didn't know a word of english in my opinion. Neither did either taxi driver but they were patient and willing to communicate through Google Translate.
Again the only redeeming quality was the taxi service to/from the hotel and soft beds (although a dog barked outside all night, which I realize is no fault of the hotel.)

We didn't use a transfer service from the airport to the hotel because we came directly by van from Cuenca. However, to get from the hotel to the airport, the hotel arranged a good transport service which took us to the facility where we checked the dog in, and to the airport.
Gracias por contactarse con nosotros, aceptamos solo mascotas pequeñas y tienen un recargo de $5 .
