Nice and close to the airport. Not a Hilton but very comfortable, clean and super friendly staff. Stayed two nights on way to Galapagos. Found Guayaquil to be a very interesting city. Good shopping and felt safe wherever we went. Hotel will look after all tour bookings. Food was good and for a change they arranged a taxis and dinner...

We enjoyed our two nights here, in this family run hotel. There are only eleven rooms and there is a large common space on the ground level. The rooms have air conditioning, with comfortable beds and ample space. The décor and all the furnishings are made in Ecuador and there is a sample of Ecuadorian plants and trees around the...

What a lovely, pleasant place to stay! Does not look spectacular from the outside, but as soon as you step inside you are warmly welcomed by the owners with a fresh juice even! The roommate spacey enough, nice, clean, with free wifi, telly, and A/C. Breakfast is fresh prepared and quite tasty. But honestly the best part are the people...

Hostal Macaw is a small B&B run by one family. Their hospitality is superb and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They were extremely helpful with other travel plans as well. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We stayed here on our way to Galapagos. Hotel and rooms were clean and the staff were lovely. Our bags didn't arrive at the sale time as us and the staff were really helpful in trying to find where they were and even came to the airport with us to find them the next day. Breakfast was lovely, best homemade...

I stayed there because my travel company booked me in before a fly to Galapagos. For a one night stay it is a perfect place: comparatively quiet location, nice reasonably clean rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price. the down sides which make his hotel not suitable for a longer stay: very small room (at least the one I stayed in) -...

A few people told us to be careful in Guayaquil which had us nervous but at this hotel we felt very safe and welcome. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the employees all very happy and helpful. We had to leave a little early for our flight in the morning so they even provided bagged breakfast for us...

My traveling partner and I stayed here for one night while on our way to Galapagos. It was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room on the ground floor near reception so was a bit noisy and I think there were better rooms, but we were ok. We didn't eat there as we left before breakfast and...
