Although the room was big and confy. I booked the room for 13:30 hrs and they didn't have it ready until almost 3 pm. The cleaning lady was a little rude, she didn't want to give me the wifi password and once i finally got into my room the lamp broke. The room was nice and neat. but the long...

Pros: the hotel is located in the middle of everything. If you want to shop, eat, dine, and close to the south and the north of the city. Malecon is safe. Cons: Well, maybe the elevator is noisy, but it is not a big deal; since the place is safe. The elevator is only for the guests on the 7th...

Booked this hotel as a place to sleep during our stop-over traveling from Quito to Montañita. It had the right price, & the room pictures looks presentable. It's a no-frills hotel, & it served the purpose. It's 3.5 miles from the main bus terminal where we arrived & then departed the next morning. The cab ride was $5 which seemed...

The hotel was good. The attention of all the staff was really good. We enjoyed our stat there. The only bad thing is the breakfast, it was not good at all. They not give us fruit, just eggs lemonade and bread. They had parking space. The room was clean. Good hotel for a few days in Guayaquil. The hotel is...

Definitely not a 4 star Hotel, don't expect that. Overall I can give a 3 star rating. It's located in a very good spot, near the Malecon 2000. The staff was very friendly with me, they help me on getting taxis & on recommending places to visit and restaurants. Don't expect luxury (breakfast is average and the building seems a...

As we were running on a budget but wanting a place near the Malecon, this place was nicely spotted and really good on the overall. As we get there, they where replacing all the WIFI equipment so we had it working only on the second day, but as soon that all has been fixed, it worked really well, doing skype...

Dump, dump, dump, dump, dump, dump, dump. Did I say this place is a dump. Usually I try to be simpathic especially when going on a budget but this place takes the icing for worse places I've stayed. Off the back I knew something was up when the front desk said his credit machine was broke though he asked me if I was paying with...

The staff doesn't know what they're doing. The breakfast was the worst I've ever had: they brought cold food and said "it's supposed to be cold". I had to complain with the cook for them to heat it up. The wifi is slow and not everywhere. Beds are comfortable though :)

We appreciate Hotel Malecon Inn being dog-friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. When our car was too tall to fit in their parking garage, they made arrangements for it to be parked in a place where it was watched. Great location, especially for exploring the Malecon and other parks in the area. Breakfast was basic, and the coffee was...

My husband and I stayed at "Malecon Inn" this October of 2011. The location was great; however, the service was extremely poor. The breakfast was horrible. The room, the sheets, and the towels were dirty. The transportation to the airport was not included. We had to pay $5.00 US. The elevator was old and scary. Terrible terrible terrible place to...
