This was a really nice small boutique hotel that was centrally located within the walled city of Rovinj. There were only 3 or 4 rooms on each floor that were all slightly different. Parking was close by but there was a fee for overnight parking that the hotel helped us figure out. We had a very comfortable 3 nights here. There was a sitting/living room area that always had little chocolate snacks, they offered us a welcome drink, and although there was no kettle provided in the room, they brought one to us within 5 minutes of requesting it in the mornings. This was a great location for exploring other towns in this region.

My Husband and I enjoyed 3 nights at Villa Tuttorotto and would happily have spent more time there. The hotel was perfect for us - small, beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable and relaxing. Tucked away down a small alley right in the heart of Old Town Rovinj with everything that has to offer. Dom, Olga and Anna couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. We had a car which we parked in a nearby car park, Olga picked us up from there in the hotel cart. She organised payment of the car park (she had even taken a photo of the car registration so we didn’t have to look it up) and made sure payment was made until we left Rovinj. In other words she couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, pastries, cold meats etc. We very much hope we can enjoy a return visit.

We truly loved this hotel. To be clear, this is a VERY small boutique hotel with less than 10 rooms (7 or 8 I think). We stayed in Room 30, their suite with windows looking out over the harbor and the edge of the Old City of Rovinj.

All that said, the experience was wonderful. From the moment Dom (it was the name he said to use as his actual name was a much longer and harder to pronounce Croatian name!) met us with the golf cart, we felt welcome. (Cars are not typically allowed into the old city where the hotel is).

We were greeted by Tatjana at the front desk and taken to our suite. Very cute, not unlike a homey bed and breakfast. Again, not a Ritz or St Regis kind of lux, but comfortable, roomy and like a home away from home sort of feel. I've posted a pic of the view from our room. Very relaxing and fantastic!

Our timing was interesting - we arrived at the start of 4 days of celebration of the town of Rovinj's patron saint, Saint Euphemia. On our first night, we were tired, having gotten up early to enjoy a morning in Venice before heading over to Rovinj.

The celebration, however, included a stage a few hundred feet from the hotel, and the bands played past midnight. We had our windows open and could hear every lyric of every song. At breakfast, I did hear other guests saying the music kept them awake a few of the nights. Clearly, this is not on the hotel, more on me for not checking to see what was going on during our stay.

The next few nights, we just joined the celebration, with one band playing past 1 AM. It was a blast!

Regarding the hotel, the location is perfect for exploring the city of Rovinj. We had great weather and we were literally outside from the time we finished breakfast until we went back to go sleep, so we didn't take advantage of the lounge, but it had a wonderful, living room-like feel. You are right in the heart of old Rovinj and everything is walkable and extremely charming.

Breakfast was awesome. Wonderful pastries and great omelets, loved sitting outside enjoying the view and fresh ocean air.

Will definitely go back next trip to the Istrian peninsula. Every time we walked in to the hotel, we were greeted by Tatjana or Natalija and it felt like we were staying with friends, not a hotel.

Outstanding small hotel. Staff was superb. Thank you Dom! Location was great and breakfast on the terrace was terrific. Lucky to find a room last minute. Dom kindly took us on golf cart to parking and helped to figure out the cheapest solution for local parking.

We just returned from a three-night stay at Villa Tuttorotto and this is an extremely charming and special hotel. Tucked at the end of a quiet street in Rovinj's pedestrian-only old city, it is just a short walk from the car park as well as the town's main square and picturesque promenade. The rooms are nicely furnished with period furniture and there is a cozy sitting room for guests to read and relax after a day of exploring. Each morning we had a delightful breakfast on the small terrace overlooking the Adriatic, complete with homemade croissants,,fruit, cheeses and made to order eggs. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, providing beach towels for our afternoon swim and umbrellas for the one morning it rained. If you are looking for a place where you will feel immediately at home and well looked after, this is it.

Very nice room, classic style, spacious, with a beautiful view and with a wonderful Jacuzzi. Breakfast on a terrace overlooking the harbor, complete with eggs / omelets prepared on the spot. Staff very helpful and kind. Luggage transport service on arrival / departure very useful, as the property is located in the historic center, convenient to everything (Point of Sale, beaches, excursions, restaurants). Improvement tips: introduction of a beach towel service, clothesline for costumes and towels; for this level of hotel, breakfast should be improved, despite the impeccable staff.

Last hotel of our Croatia/Slovenia road trip. Great old villa in centre of Rovinj - friendly helpful staff - given a room key and entrance card. Pleasant room on fourth floor overlooking sea and marina - kept immaculately clean. Breakfast with good choice and perfect omelette on request. If driving ask Dom for instructions on parking - he recommended Parcheggio Mirna where he will pick you up on golf cart and arrange payment at Villa - very helpful as Rovinj is a pedestrian only centre. We had a great two days at Villa TUTTOROTTO which was a perfect end to our trip - thankyou.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet and cozy especially being in the Old town. Excellent location, even better breakfast with the sea view. I was a little concerned about renting a room in Old Town in August in Rovinj, but turns out that when you close the windows and turn the A/C on you can't hear anything.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Villa Tuttorotto. Christina picked me up in the electric cart from the nearby bus station. She and the rest of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My room was cozy & spacious and had a partial view of the water and rooftops. The room didn't have a tea kettle but it wasn't a problem getting tea & chocolates in your room nightly.

The location as other reviewers have mentioned is in the Old city but on a very quiet street. All of Christina's recommendations were spot on including the gelato shop.

Breakfast wasn't included in my rate and I am not a breakfast eater. However I did have breakfast one morning and it is a lovely spread with breads, yogurts, cold cuts, selection of cheeses, eggs to order, fresh fruits, and high quality tea.

There's no question I'll stay here on my trip to Rovinj. Thank you for taking care of me and making it a memorable stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Tuttorotto. The Villa is ideally located in the old town within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and all sites. The staff were very friendly & engaging. Our room was immaculately clean and overlooked the water. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast that was served on the terrace also with harbour views. The amenities were first class and the transfers from the harbor and to the bus station were greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know the price, but I advice you to contact them directly, that's how you get the best price, I think... I stayed in a 'normal' room, which was absolutely wonderful! I believe it was on third floor. A wonderful place to stay!
