She and the rest of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My room was cozy & spacious and had a partial view of the water and rooftops. The room didn't have a tea kettle but it wasn't a problem getting tea & chocolates in your room nightly. The location as other reviewers have mentioned is in the Old city but on a very quiet street. All of Christina's recommendations were spot on including the gelato shop. Breakfast wasn't included in my rate and I am not a breakfast eater. However I did have breakfast one morning and it is a lovely spread with breads, yogurts, cold cuts, selection of cheeses, eggs to order, fresh fruits, and high quality tea. There's no question I'll stay here on my trip to Rovinj. There were only 3 or 4 rooms on each floor that were all slightly different. Parking was close by but there was a fee for overnight parking that the hotel helped us figure out. We had a very comfortable 3 nights here. There was a sitting/living room area that always had little chocolate snacks, they offered us a welcome drink, and although there was no kettle provided in the room, they brought one to us within 5 minutes of requesting it in the mornings. Tucked at the end of a quiet street in Rovinj's pedestrian-only old city, it is just a short walk from the car park as well as the town's main square and picturesque promenade. The rooms are nicely furnished with period furniture and there is a cozy sitting room for guests to read and relax after a day of exploring. Each morning we had a delightful breakfast on the small terrace overlooking the Adriatic, complete with homemade croissants,,fruit, cheeses and made to order eggs. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, providing beach towels for our afternoon swim and umbrellas for the one morning it rained. Stayed here as part of a Exodus cycling trip. Nice staff and good location. Near bars and harbour side. Well preserved public spaces and antiques. Rooms traditional. Big issue was the weak AC in room, which is a problem in August - the room was always warm.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet and cozy especially being in the Old town. Excellent location, even better breakfast with the sea view. I was a little concerned about renting a room in Old Town in August in Rovinj, but turns out that when you close the windows and turn the A/C on you can't hear anything.

This was a really nice small boutique hotel that was centrally located within the walled city of Rovinj. There were only 3 or 4 rooms on each floor that were all slightly different. We had a fabulous stay at Villa Tuttorotto. The Villa is ideally located in the old town within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and all sites. The staff were very friendly & engaging. Our room was immaculately clean and overlooked the water. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast that was served on the terrace also with harbour views. The amenities were first class and the transfers from the harbor and to the bus station were greatly appreciated.

Absolutely terrific place! My wife and I celebrated her birthday with a trip to Rovinj, and we were thrilled our stay. It's a 500-year-old building renovated into a fabulous mansion-style hotel. The lobby has a glass floor looking down to ancient relics found during renovation. We stayed in the (very large) Room 30, which has a nice view of the harbor and a HUGE and beautiful bathroom with a massive jacuzzi tub. It's just a 1-minute walk to the main plaza and the waterfront, tons of shopping and dining. The included breakfast was exceptional, including eggs cooked to order, free Champagne (really), and warm croissants to die for. When I asked the owner why he would name his hotel "Tuttorotto" (literally all rotten), he explained that when his father bought the property six decades ago, the sole resident at the time (who owned a single floor of it) tried to discourage him from buying the building by telling him the lie that it was "all rotten." I would have named it "Tuttobella," all beautiful!…

We had a lovely room overlooking the water and all the comforts. Breakfast was served with a variety of choices and even eggs to order. There was beautiful art on the walls and it was clean and quiet. We even were given a ride to our car with our luggage.

Our first stop on our Croatia vacation was Rovinj. Villa Tuttorotto a perfect hotel right in the heart of this charming city. Hosts Dom and Olga were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Dom picked us up at the dock and Olga helped us find bikes to ride along the harbor. Close to the church, restaurants, shops, and waterfront.
