We tried two nights first and then, because we liked it, we added three. The hotel is located just outside of Porec, in a well-kept complex with lots of greenery and a lot of sports grounds. We had a room with a "garden view", so more of a roof and parking lot. The room was clean and OK, but the bathroom was claustrophobic. We had half board, hard-working staff, especially the waiter who immediately reserved a table for us because he wanted to help my two severely disabled parents. Both meals were very varied, local produce is always good, especially since they are committed to sustainability, which is not always possible, e.g. cooling empty minibar fridges or in the restaurant you can use cups and plates a second time - saves washing up An absolute no-go was that one of the elevators was out of service for days, as we had a room on the 2nd floor, fitness program (hope I won't be charged for that later), but when my parents were there and you stand for 20 minutes and people with big tennis backpacks block the elevator and then probably touch all the floor buttons when you go out - annoying The beach is beautiful and we will definitely come back when we are in Istria

Was here for 3 days with the family. This is an older hotel that was refurnished couple of years ago. The lobby area is nice and spacious and had kids entertainment program in the evening. Rooms are ok not so new but clean and let's be realistic when you come to a hotel like this one with a lot of stuff to do you will not spend your time in the room. There is 4-5 kids play rooms where they can really enjoy different things as well as a PlayStation room. The hotel is very nice and has great facilities. The location is great, too. Very close to the town of Porec yet surrounded by greenery. The tourist train station is very closecto the hotel - for those who can't or don' like to walk and it can take you all the way to the Green Laguna or to the town . The staff is very professional - all of them: the cleaning ladies, the restaurant staff, the lobby bat staff, the reception desk staff... The food is excellent. I am a vegetarian and had a lot to choose from. Many local products (not just food and drinks but everything!) - supporting Croatian economy. Like that a lot!!! The hotel is trying to be green and environmentally friendly.

Had booked an apartment (Valamar Diamant Residence) for 9 nights. + The apartment is a bit old, but clean and everything necessary is available. Every day the garbage is emptied, the beds made and the towels changed if necessary.
- Towards the end of our holiday the air conditioning did not cool down twice - switch off, give it a short break and switch it on again but then worked.

We stayed as a couple for almost two weeks at Valamar Diamant in July 2024, on a half-board basis. Overall, it was a very good experience: great check-in/check-out, nice and clean hotel grounds, good food choices for breakfast and dinner, very clean room, and comfortable beds. We had a room with a sea view (highly recommended) and a nice balcony.
The only thing we overlooked was that this is primarily a family-oriented hotel with over 60% families with small children (our mistake for not checking that in advance), so be prepared for that if you’re going as a couple (dining with kids screaming and running around). Brulo Beach is close by, with sun umbrellas and two sunbeds available for less than 20 euros for the whole day.

The room and balcony are claustrophobically small. I have already stayed in Valamar's hotels and for the price of 150 euros per season I expected more. Accommodation and service absolutely do not deserve 4 stars and are not at the level of the Valamar chain. Stains on the walls, room and bathroom cry out for renovation. We stayed there for three days in November. The room was old but clean. Restaurants and lobby new and cooking in a front of the people in restaurants during meals was nice, but the food could be better. What I really didn’t like was the overbooked hotel with people attending various conferences. During booking this hotel was offered as a family hotel, but this is more like a conference hotel and I didn’t like it during my family trip. People are usually relaxed during their free time at conferences and not too friedlly towards children. Also the animators in the children's room were not very interested in playing with the children. The pool area were not super cleab and very cold. All in all, an average Croatian hotel that needs to be renovated and clearly oriented as a family or conference hotel.

Die Liegen vom Hotel am Pool sind gratis. Man bekommt auch pro Person eine Karte die man gegen hauseigene Liegetücher eintauschen kann. Täglich können diese gegen Frische getauscht werden. Die Liegen am Strand gehören nicht zum Hotel. Man muss mit Liege und Schirm ca. 20 EUR rechnen. Es gibt aber genug Schattenmöglichkeiten durch angrenzenden Waldbestand. Mit Getränkepaket hab ich keine Erfahrung. Wir waren immer draussen unterwegs. Preise sind moderat, in der Stadt selbst natürlich teurer. Wir haben paar mal an der Lobby etwas getrunken und auch dort sind die Preise nicht zu teuer.
