After several years in Porec we've decided to change place to stay and were a bit unsure where to go. The choice of Materada Residence was more than perfect for three of us. We stayed in more cosy part of the complex, next to tenis courts of Materada hotel, in shadow of pine trees. The bungalow was nice furnished, not too much and not too little. There were several cosmetic issues but nothing to make a big issue of them. The only real issue was WiFi connection but looking on previous reviews, this was issue before. The whole area around houses are nicely maintained with nice pool and a small kiosk, where you can buy drink and icecream. Around the pool, there is a lot of space to get sun with free of charge parasols and loungers. The place is a bit remote but with own parking lot. To go downtown you can use also the tourist train from in front Pinia hotel or bike taxi (my favorit, even that is more expensive). The beach is not something to talk about because it rocky but clean. However, it possible to find place to come direct into the see witout hurting itself. All in all great place for family holiday.

We enjoyed 100% equipped apartments, very nice and clean area (full of pine trees) and and the coast just behind the gate. The prices for the stay are significantly lower in May, do not miss it next year (-: We stayed as 3 adults in A2A apartment and were absolutely satisfied.

I've been comg back here for few year, this place never dissapoints. Very quiete place, with clean facilities and friednly staff. Pool is large enough to accommodate for all people in the resort, easy access to sea and short walk to couple of seaside restaurants. I'd definitely recommend for family holidays with small kids.

We stayed two nights and the only thing we really did not like: the bedroom fronted a street and you could not continue sleeping in the morning with an open window, as traffic was too loud. Unfortunate as we booked the place for a bit of relaxation at the end of our trip. Other then that the rooms are furnished nicely, the small kitchen in the living room is well equipped. Wireless internet was weak kept on dropping a lot and with the iPad I had to log in over and over again. A bit of a plain really. At check out nobody asked how we liked our stay or if we had any feedback. To the location: you can walk to to center easily in 20 minutes or so. The tourist train is another way to reach the center. It leaves about 500 m away, costs about 10 Kuna and runs in the evenings every 40 minutes. The last one leaves the center at 23:20 (check times). We had unfortunate weather, so I can say anything about the beach or the pool.
