We arrived at a nearby hotel without a reservation, They called the Ethno House to locate a room for us. Later we found that they had opened one of their buildings that had already been closed for the season just to accommodate us! Run by a friendly family, extremely clean, new facilities just minutes away from the entrances to Pltvice... More

I was staying at a different place across the street but ended up stopping here for dinner shortly after arriving in town because they have a small restaurant and I was hungry. Since it seemed nice, the next morning I went out on a limb and asked them if they ran a shuttle to the parks, since it's about one... More

We stayed overnight at this lovely hotel. The rooms are modern and clean. Dinner at the hotel was good for me but the friends I was with weren't as happy with their meals. I loved our room which was efficient and comfortable. The setting is gorgeous. The pool area was lovely but we didn't swim.

We booked a deluxe room with king bed. It is on the second floor of a building with three floors and several rooms. The breakfast room is here in the basement. The room is obviously newly remodeled and very clean and attractive. There is limited room for luggage and no dresser, etc for clothes. there is a smal closet with... More

This rustic-themed hotel is composed of a number of separate small units, so even if there is a bus-load of people in one part of the property, you will feel quietly alone in your part. The restaurant serves a nice meal and the service is efficient and cheerful. They have no idea how to make a typical American martini, so... More

Stayed here in September. We had a car and it's about 2k to entrance 2 of the national park so it's in a good location Seems like the accommodation has a newer boutique style room and we stayed there which were perfect for a two night stay. Downsides to this place was the communication piece from the staff. They don't... More

The Ethno House offers nice modern hotel style rooms very close to entrance 2 for Plitvice. Rooms are situated in one of several chalet style buildings, with a central reception and restaurant building. Our room was of good quality with a very comfy bed (quite rare in our travels in Croatia), fridge and nice enough suite. A basic breakfast comes... More

This was a great place to stay. Our room looked new and was immaculate the whole hotel is quaint and family run. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and the kids enjoyed the pool albeit briefly as it was cold this time of year. We are at the restaurant for both dinners and enjoyed our meals. The staff were... We love exploring National Parks and we're very excited to be staying at a hotel so close. The rooms and facilities are excellent, they seem to be recently refurbished to a high standard. The shower was particularly good. The road outside is slightly noisy but you get used to it quickly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed... More

renovated rooms, clean, good quality bed, restaurant with delicious meals and slightly heavy price. beautiful outdoor area and very inviting for relaxing in the sun. Only two factors that may be negative for tourists: 1 - The public transport system apparently meets the hotel precariously, I can not say for sure because I got to the hotel in a rental... More
