Booked this house due to its proximity to entrance 2.
It was easy to find on the main road about 4 minutes drive from entrance 2 and on the same side.
Ordered an evening meal and it was delicious.
Very good about social distancing at meal times.
Rooms comfortable. Didn't get a chance to us the pool so can't make any comments
Would recommend

Good hotel, we had the last room an attic but is was fine and cosy.
Breakfast was oke, dinner was not so great for the price of €20 a menu.
Swimming pool was nice after a day of walking and plenty of beds around.
Only 2km from the 2e entrance of the lakes.
Parking at the hotel.

Room Tip: No card, only cash. Have dinner in a restaurant closeby, it’s better.

It is very clean and has a lovely Bavarian theme. The rooms are pretty and beds are comfortable. The restaurant on-site is good and it is very close to the park entrance. Air conditioner does not work well and there is no fan. The room was very hot and it’s only May. They also only take Kuna which requires preplanning.

Our experience started positively with a smooth check in and was escorted by a really welcoming staff to our room.

Cash only even for your room fee - a few reviewers mentioned it so we got cash beforehand. Not a lot of bank ATMs in the Plitvice area.

Unless if you want someone to scold at you, do not touch the coffee machine right next to the reception area. The “I have no name” staff takes great pride in policing that self serve machine. Putting up a sign would be more efficient and less confusing.

The room is clean and basic. If you’re planning to get groceries for your lake picnic the following day, keep in mind the fridge was not plugged in luckily we checked immediately after we got into the room.

Wi-Fi pretty much nonexistent. Took forever to connect, and very spotty if you got lucky and got in.

No shower door and the shower glass leaked. Had to use our towels to stop the water flowing outside.

We thought we would arrive in a warm nice small hotel. But the people at the reception were very cold, real businesswomen. The room is ok, but basic (we slept under the roof) Drinking something at the pool is very expensive (more expensive than a lot of hotels in Croatia). If you are later at breakfast a lot off things are not available anymore. Not a place to go back

Well located to lakes and the grounds are quite lovely. That’s all the positives I can say. The major down fall for our stay was the people that ran the place. They are openly ride, make you feel like you’re an inconvenience. The manager was often reading her book when guests had to interrupt with questions and she would roll her eyes. Every time I saw a guest ask the manager for something the answer she gave was a simple ‘no’. Our group was chastised when we decided to eat breakfast one morning outside rather than in the small, hot eating area they offer. For me the biggest gripe is when I asked reception to look at the fridge in our room as it wasn’t cold and she told me it wasn’t a fridge it was a cool box. The room is advertised with a fridge and in all my travels have never heard of a cool box connected to power. An ice box for camping yes but surely a cool box connected to power is a fridge and should stay cool. We did not enjoy our stay here and don’t recommend you stay here either

This hotel is a very poor value. the rooms are tiny and dark. the balconies look out over a pit. The food at dinner was inedible. the service is indifferent the wine bar was closed, as was the pool. the only good thing about this hotel is it’s location, which is at an unpublished entrance to the park, and a short walk to the boat across the lake.

The hotel is located close to plitvice park. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and actually look as new. The owner and the stuff are very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Diner in place is also possible. Dinner was ok but with a bit limited choice. A good place to be in if you visit the park or just passing by.

Really clean and tidy, great service from the two members of staff running the hotel. Superb location for the park.
Dinner OK, but expensive compared to the pizzeria down the road.
Great breakfast to fuel you up for long walks in the wilderness!!
